Why And How Am I In Ninjago!? | Lloyd x OC

Well, Lloyd's bad luck of getting captured, is affecting Nova, it seems like. She does not like it.

We get a small look at what, Nova looks like when her hair isn't set up.

*In the Castle of Ice, Lloyd is surprised that Zane is the Ice Emperor. Nova had already seen this coming.*

"Zane? I-I don't understand. How is this possible?" said Lloyd.

"What did you call me?" The Ice Emperor asked.

"What else would he call you, silly. You're Zane, our friend." said Nova.

"Zane! Your name is Zane! Don't you remember?" Lloyd and Nova take a step forward, and two Blizzard Warriors block them with their spears.

"Step back. You are addressing the Ice Emperor." said Vex.

Nova sent a glare over at Vex. "Shut up, you'll get your turn later, Jack Frost."

"What did you just call me?" Vex narrowed his eyes at her.

Nova was about to talk back, but Lloyd stopped her from making it worse, and turned their focus back to Zane.

"We came here for you, Zane. We came here to bring you home." said Lloyd.

"This... is my home." said the Ice Emperor.

"No it isn't, it never was." said Nova.

"No. Ninjago is your home." said Lloyd.

"Nin... ja-go?" said the Ice Emperor, a little confused, but felt like he had heard that name before.

"Yes, Ninjago, everyone is missing you there." said Nova.

Lloyd pushes against the spears while grabbing Nova's hand, pulling her along. "Think, Zane. Try to remember. We were all together. We were fighting Aspheera and... and she banished you with her staff."

"Don't listen to them. they are lying!" said Vex.

"For once, I'm not actually lying here." said Nova.

"It's the truth." Lloyd pushes against the spears again with Nova. "Zane. You have to remember something! Or... someone. Master Wu, or Pixal., or-or..."

"Kai?" Nova suggested.

The Ice Emperor raises an eyebrow. "Who?"

"Kai! Remember when I threw his reds in with your whites and all your clothes turned pink? And you had to dress up as a Pink Ninja? Remember?" said Lloyd.

"I remember that part, it was pretty funny." said Nova, giving a small smile.

"No." said the Ice Emperor.

"Well, he didn't think twice about his answer." said Nova.

"They seeks to deceive you. To confuse you. Let me deal with them, my Lord." Vex bows.

"Oh my god, stop with the glazing already." Nova groans as she rolls her eyes in annoyance.

Lloyd sees the Forbidden Scroll in the Ice Emperor's hand and recalls the moment when Zane was banished to the Never-Realm by Aspheera. "You were holding the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu when it happened. It-It must have corrupted you somehow. How long have you been here, Zane? How long have you been holding that?"

"Many... decades." said the Ice Emperor.

Lloyd was surprised to hear this. "Decades? Time must be different here. I don't understand how, but-but... Zane, the Scroll has corrupted you, corrupted your power. You have to put it down!" He tries to get closer to the Ice Emperor, but is stopped by the Blizzard Warriors.

"He seeks the scepter!" said Vex.

"We're not interested in a stupid stick, only our friend." said Nova, rolling her eyes.

"Don't listen to him, Zane! This isn't you! You're a good person! You're our friend. You have to trust us. Put it down!" said Lloyd.

Nova stayed close to Lloyd while still holding hands as she looked up at Zane. "Please, Zane."

Vex turns to the Ice Emperor triumphantly. "See?! They desires it for themselves." He points at Lloyd and Nova. "Seize them!" The Blizzard Warriors point their spears at Lloyd and Nova as they advance menacingly, forcing them to back away nervously. Then they try to attack them.

"No!" Lloyd leaps through the spears with Nova and lands on the ground, standing guard. They each kicks one of the Warriors and back-flips. Grimfax approaches behind Lloyd, but is quickly thrown to the ground. Lloyd grabs the other Warrior's spear and whips him around before leaping past a surprised Vex and lunges at the Ice Emperor, only to be blasted by his corrupted Ice. Lloyd is thrown to the ground and loses consciousness. "Ah! Ugh!"

"Fuck!" Nova quickly dodged one of the spears, but tripped as the pain from earlier hadn't gone fully away. "Worse time for this." She summoned her blaster and had it change to its sword mode. "Let's try this again."

Nova quickly dodged an in coming attack of the Ice Emperor's ice. "Yeah, I'm not falling for that trick, Ice Queen." Nova swung her sword at the warrior's spears before then using spinjitzu at Vex, but it was blocked by Grimfax who quickly knocked her over, and fell down on the ground, hitting her head into a pillar.

Vex turns to the Ice Emperor. "Behold their treachery. One moment they speaks of friendship, and the next, they tries to steal your scepter. One of the Warriors pokes Lloyd and Nova cautiously. "Allow me to destroy them, my Lord!"

The Ice Emperor narrows his eyes slightly. "Lock them in the dungeon."

"But, my Lord!" said Vex.

"You heard me!" The Ice Emperor slams his scepter down.

"You heard the Emperor." Vex points at Lloyd and Nova. "To the dungeon with them!" The Blizzard Warriors drag Lloyd and Nova off. Vex is still upset with the Ice Emperor's decision, and Grimfax is reflecting on everything that happened.

*Nova was the first to wake up, and saw that they had been brought to a cell.*

"Well, that could have gone worse." Nova groans, holding her head.

"Are you alright, friend?" said a voice.

Nova turned her attention towards the person who spoke in the other cell, and gave him a small smile. "Yeah, I'm good. Not the worst I've been through."

Soon enough, Lloyd wakes up too, groaning. He stands up, looks at shackles of ice around his hands, and tugs on them.

"Welcome back to the land of the living." said Nova, leaning against a wall.

"Are you awake, my friend?" The person went on to asked Lloyd.

"Yes. Who are you?" Lloyd walks to the doors.

"A prisoner, like you two. What is your name?" said the person.

"I'm Lloyd, and the angsty one here, is Nova." said Lloyd.

Nova narrowed her eyes at him. "What."

"Welcome to the Ice Emperor's dungeon, Lloyd and Nova. I am Kataru." said the person now known as Kataru.

"Kataru? Akita's brother? The be—" Asked Lloyd, before being cut off in the end.

"The bear?" Nova finished Lloyd's question, as she sent him a smirk before slowly getting up and walked over to the doors, but had to lean a bit against Lloyd as to not fall.

Kataru stands up. "How do you two know that?"

"She told us. She told us all about you." said Lloyd, while wrapping an arm around Nova, as to keep her from falling over.

Kataru started getting irritated. "My sister is gone. She was frozen, along with the rest of my people, by the Emperor's Ice dragon." He walks back to his cell in disbelief.

"No. No, she's alive! We came across the ice together." said Lloyd.

"Yeah, if it wasn't for her, we might not have gotten this far on our own." said Nova.

Kataru turns around and grabs the bars. "Do you swear it? Do you swear she is alive?"

"Yes! She's alive! Actually, she thought you were dead. She thought the dragon took you." said Lloyd.

"Boreal. It did, but it didn't destroy me. It brought me here, a prize for its master." Kataru turns back and looks at the wall encasing him.

"How long have you been here?" Lloyd asked, before glancing at Nova who holding on to him, as to not lose her balance. But also noticed her head had started bleeding again, which worried him a little.

"I... I do not know. I made marks at first to keep track of the days and months." Kataru walks toward tally marks he made on the walls. "But after a while, I gave up. There is no escape from this place."

"There is always a way." said Lloyd.

"Yeah, where there is a will, there is a way." said Nova.

Vex slow claps, walking to Nova and Lloyd's cell door. "Ah, that's the spirit. So hopeful. So confident. But, alas, there are a few troubling details you don't know. Such as the shackles around your hands." Lloyd looks down and shakes his shackles. "They are made of corrupted Ice. If they can prevent a Formling from changing shape, then I think they can also contain your powers."

"Hmmm, I'm not so sure about my gaming abilities." Nova thought to herself, while taking a step away from Lloyd, knowing what was coming next.

Lloyd lunges at Vex, grabbing the bars. "You coward! You liar! I don't know how you tricked Zane into believing you, but he'll see through you eventually. He'll see what you are!"

"What I am? I'm his trusted adviser, while you are nothing but a traitor and a rebel spy. And sooner or later, I will deal with you, as I deal with all who stand in my way." Vex laughs evilly and walks away, running his hand along Kataru's cell door.

"I am sorry, my friends. I wish I could give you two some hope, but there is none in this place." said Kataru.

Lloyd smiles. "There's always hope. Akita's still out there and our friends are out there. And if I know one thing, it's that ninja never quit. They never give up. Ever."

"Yeah, we ninja are very stubborn." said Nova, going on to sit back down.

Lloyd walked over and sat down next to Nova so he could check her injured head.

"I'm fine, Lloyd. I'm not gonna die from getting my head knocked into something." said Nova.

"Maybe not, but it wasn't that long ago you had your head knocked into a wall." said Lloyd.

Nova rolled her eyes before letting out a painful winch, when he was touching the part of her head that hurts.

"Sorry, but it doesn't look all that bad like that first time, which is a relief." said Lloyd.

Nova let out a sigh, before taking off her right glove so she could get a good look at her hand.

"Moonie, don't tell me you used your elemental powers again, when they are still unstable." said Lloyd in a serious tone.

After removing her glove, Nova could see that the cracks had gone further from her hand to slowly up her arm, with a few shards falling off. "I was trying to save your sorry ass and Akita, I'll do it again if I have to."

Lloyd was shaking his head as he gently took her cracked hand in his. "You shouldn't risk your own life, moonie, seeing you like this will only make me worried."

A small blush grew on Nova's face but tried to act like it was nothing. "Fine, I'll be more careful and not put my life in danger as much."

Lloyd raised an eyebrow at her, not believing that one bit.

"Jeez, fine, fine. Now stop giving me that look Lloyd, I get it already." said Nova.

"So, how many times does this make?" Lloyd asked.

"What do you mean?" Nova gave him a confused look.

A smirk grew on Lloyd's face. "You, getting caught?"

Nova let out an annoyed groan, as she gently pushed him away. "Your bad luck of getting captured, is affecting me now, by the First Spinjitzu Master, help me."

"Hey, don't blame me for getting caught. Maybe you are just getting rusty." taunted Lloyd.

Nova glared at him. "When we get out of here, and back to Ninjago. I'm taking away your stash of candy, and yes, I know every place you are hiding it."

Now Lloyd was the one to sent Nova a glare after that threat she made. "You wouldn't dare."

"Try me, Lloyd, I dare you." said Nova.

They glared at each other for a bit, before they both started laughing at how stupid they sounded right now.

"Anyway, we should work on getting ourselves out of here." said Lloyd, and began taking a look at their shackles.

"Yeah, we probably should." said Nova, as she put her glove back on.

*A few minutes later, Grimfax pops out from behind the ice and runs to where the cells was. In the dungeon, Lloyd is trying to rip off his shackles.*

"Save your strength, my friend. Ten of you couldn't break those chains." said Kataru.

Nova hummed softly as she had to take out her hair accessories that was keeping her hair up, causing her hair to fall down. She wasn't much for having her hair down, as it would get in the way at times. But at the moment, she didn't have much of a choice, as she used her hair accessories to picklock her shackles.

(first look we get of her with hair down, though not that long because she had her hair cut.)

"There has to be something we can do." said Lloyd, before glancing over at Nova. He couldn't help but be surprised at what he saw, and had to do a double take of what he was seeing.

"Stop the staring, Lloyd. I can't work with you watching." said Nova, blushing slightly while working on her shackles.

".....Beautiful." Lloyd whispered, before snapping out of it, and putting his focus back on his own shackles. Though did glance at her a few times.

Nova's face was growing red when she heard him, and tried hiding her face while trying to get the shackles off. A small smile grew as she heard a click. "Yes! One down, one more to go. I'm gonna have to thank Ronin for teaching me this."

"The only way out of this dungeon is if someone lets us out, and I do not see that happening anytime soon." Kataru closes his eyes sadly, but opens them when he hears Grimfax walking past his cell.

Lloyd does not hear him and looks at his shackles, but turns when Grimfax opens the door, surprised. "You? What are you doing here?"

"I'm considering doing something foolish. I'm considering helping you, but I want to know something first. Is it true what you said? That the Emperor was once a good man?" said Grimfax.

"Yes." said Lloyd.

"And you think you can awaken him?" Grimfax asked.

"If I can get that scepter away from him, yes, he'll remember. I know he will." Lloyd catches the key Grimfax tosses at him, confused, but unlocks his shackles anyways. He turns to Nova, but sees that she had already unlocked her shackles, and was setting her hair back up. Grimfax unlocks Kataru's, and he joins them out of the cells as well.

"I hope you are right." Grimfax smiles. "Because I'm coming over to your side."

"Welcome to the Resistance." said Lloyd.

"Yay! The Resistance never quits!" said Nova, giggling at Lloyd, who gave her a confused look at first before then returning a smile.

"Yeah, the Resistance never quits." said Lloyd.
