With Mangekyo, I Escaped Konoha To Other Worlds [Naruto/AttackOnTitan]

Chapter 10: Chapter 9 Seiji's Plan 2

Garrison Branch HQ

---

The room was dimly lit, the scent of old paper and ink filling the air. Stacks of documents were piled across wooden desks, detailing troop deployments, work reports, and classified intelligence.

The Garrison Branch Headquarters wasn't particularly secure, but the room Seiji stood in was restricted to high-ranking officers.

And yet, here he was.

The soft rustling of pages was the only sound in the office.

Seiji flipped through another report, his fingers skimming the words before tossing it aside, unimpressed. His Transformation Jutsu unraveled, revealing his true form—black hair, crimson eyes, and an attire that didn't belong to any regiment of the military.

'Although I didn't expect Much, since it's not the Survey Corps, but … This is quite underwhelming'.

The information in here all ranged from written reports on Garrison Maintenance, Patrols, and complaints logged by Civilians.

It had been Ten minutes since he snuck into the Garrison using the Transformation Jutsu. Ten minutes later, The young Uchiha was bored.

Near the entrance, four unconscious Garrison soldiers lay sprawled across the floor, knocked out before they could raise the alarm.

Then, the door creaked open.

A platinum blonde-haired woman in uniform stepped inside, her sharp gaze locking onto the scene.

"... Thanks for waiting. I rushed over without even having time to take off my gear. Now then, let's … Huh?"

Her voice froze, the words dying in her throat.

Inside the room, which housed the Garrison Archives, she saw a scene she least expected.

Near a shelf, an unfamiliar face could be seen reading through a document in his grasp. Eyes focused, seemingly not noticing her arrival.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the Garrison members she had expected to meet here were all on the floor.

'An Intruder in HQ?'

Her face changed drastically. Tossing the papers in her possession, Rico Brzenska's hand went to her sword.

"Who are you?"

Seiji didn't answer.

He flipped another page, unbothered.

Instantly, the blade was drawn, her fingers tightening on the hilt.

"I asked you a question."

"…."

The answer she received was silence. Rico watched as the intruder continued to flip through the document, without so much as a care.

'Why you …'.

Just when she was about to take action, he finally responded.

Not in words, however.

Instead, he sighed, shaking his head as if dissatisfied.

"I've been going through the knowledge you have," he said at last, turning toward her fully. His Sharingan gleamed in the dim sunlight peering through the windows.

'… Those … What's up with his eyes?'

"It's all worthless."

He said, tossing the documents aside.

Rico's expression hardened.

What the hell was this guy talking about?

Numerous thoughts ran through her mind as she observed the figure before her. Dark hair, fair skin, ..... Pe-culiar features, and strange eyes …

He wore dark clothing, and had a sword strapped to his waist.

Who the hell was this guy?

Why was he here?

She pushed down her unease, straightening her posture. "State your name and your reason for being here."

Seiji looked at her, keeping a nonchalant demeanor.

"My name is Seiji Uchiha. Who are you?"

She frowned. "Squad Leader Rico Brzenska. Garrison Regiment."

"… I see. A squad leader. Finally, someone who can give me the answers I seek. So tell me, where do you keep your intelligence files on the Armored and Colossal Titan?"

The woman stiffened on the spot.

Those words clearly caught her off guard.

'The files on the Titans? Why is he searching for those?'

Her mind raced. That information was restricted, only accessible to high-ranking officers.

Not to mention, it wasn't stored here. The Garrison dealt with civil matters, in charge of enforcing law and order while maintaining the walls.

Information about Titans? That was the work of the Survey Corps. The fact that he even knew to ask for it…

She narrowed her eyes. "What do you want with those?"

Seiji's voice was cold. "It's none of your concern."

Hearing his response, Rico clenched her jaw. "That's classified military intelligence. Do you expect me to just hand over sensitive information to an armed intruder?" Her voice sharpened. "Especially one who's already assaulted our soldiers?"

Seiji glanced at the unconscious men.

"They're not dead." His tone was flat, indifferent. "Merely unconscious."

Then, his gaze returned to Rico.

"And if you must know, I want those notes to compare what I already know with yours. It'll make it easier for me to find them. I'll be on my way once I have it."

Her breath hitched.

Find them?

He's looking for the Armored and Colossal Titan?

What the hell was he planning?

Her grip on her sword tightened. "You're out of your mind if you think we'll let you just walk in here and take classified information."

"…"

Rico examined the intruder, pondering his next move.

However …

"I see"

Seiji exhaled quietly.

"I was hoping this would be simple." He took a slow step forward. "Are you going to be cooperative?"

Rico tensed.

Then, she made her decision.

"INTRUDER IN THE GARRISON."

The woman sounded the alarm, alerting everyone who would hear it.

Her fingers curled around the hilt of her sword.

Then …

Rico lunged forward, steel flashing. The moment she moved, she calculated her actions to quickly bring down the intruder.

Judging by the sword on his waist, and the fact that he defeated four soldiers, even if it was by a sneak attack meant he had skill.

This was her theory.

It would be harder to subdue such an individual instead of outright killing them. But she didn't need to. Just stall for enough time for the rest of the soldiers to arrive, then they could take this man down easily.

In the meantime, she could only hope that he wouldn't die from her attacks.

Her actions were precise.

And so, she leaped onto the table and slashed out as fast as she could.

And yet, he was faster.

Humans and Ninjas were basically two different beings. It was so overwhelming that he could easily react to this even without his Sharingan.

Before her blade could reach him, Seiji sidestepped effortlessly.

Then, with a swift, measured strike, he caught her wrist.

A sharp twist—

Her sword clattered to the ground.

She barely had time to react before she felt herself pulled forward. Then —

A knee slammed into her stomach.

Rico's eyes widened as the breath was knocked from her lungs. She staggered back, gasping for breath.

Seiji didn't press the attack.

Instead, he watched her.

"Are you done?"

Rico gritted her teeth. 'Damn it—'

Her hand reached for another on the Maneuver Gear holder.

This time, Seiji didn't even attack her. Instead, he raised his foot and kicked the table while exerting force.

Bang!

The desk flew up, Rico who was still in the process of drawing her second weapon instantly lost balance. The blonde tumbled backward before slamming on the floor.

"Ugh". She groaned.

Light footsteps fell into her ears.

"... I grow tired of this. Tell me what I want to know. I won't ask again".

Her eyes snapped open. The nonchalance in his tone making her grit her teeth and glare at him.

"Yeah right. I'm not telling you anything".

"Is that so?"

"Yes it is you bastard. This is the Garrison, and no one can just waltz in and do as they please. I promise you'll regret ever …".

A sudden crash interrupted her.

The door was pushed open as Three Garrison soldiers rushed in.

Immediately, they assigned Seiji as the intruder.

'More soldiers'.

"Get him!"

The first rushed towards him. Swinging his sword in a downward arc, aiming to cut him from shoulder to waist.

Seiji tilted his head, his body moving as well. Narrowly dodging the attack with a sidestep, he shot out with his palm -

A sharp thud echoed as it struck the man's solar plexus.

The soldier's eyes widened. Air exploded from his lungs and his grip on his sword loosened.

Before he could collapse, Seiji grabbed blurred to his side, grabbing his collar and hurling him like a rag doll.

The second solder barely had time to react as his comrade slammed into him, sending them both tumbling to the floor.

The third, seeing his chance, attacked.

Clang!

The sound of colliding metal resounded as Seiji blocked the blade.

How? With a Kunai that seemingly came out of nowhere.

The Kunai held up, then he countered.

Diverting the weight of the sword, he moved with a swift turn. His elbow slamming into the man's chest.

The man was sent reeling. Unfortunately, Seiji wasn't done.

Grabbing him by the hand, he flipped the man over, before slamming him into the ground with a loud thud.

The man collapsed, falling unconscious.

Instantly, Seiji blurred.

Reappearing right in front of the two soldiers who still hadn't regained their senses yet.

Bang!

Two strikes.

Both hit the ground, knocked out before they could process what happened.

In less than five seconds, the fight was over.

Silence filled the air. Then, a short gasp.

Seiji turned his gaze, eyes landing on Rico. She had watched everything unfold from the ground, frozen.

Her fingers trembled as they hovered over the second blade. The shock from what she just witnessed preventing her from moving.

".... You were saying?"

'He's …'.

She didn't finish the thought. Her body moving on instinct.

Under Seiji's eyes, the daring defiant officer turned tail and ran. Scrambling to hear feet, she bolted out of the room, adrenaline drowning out the pain in her stomach.

Seiji didn't move to stop her. Just raised an eyebrow as she ran.

'… Did I … Overdo it a bit?'

---

Trost District Hospital.

The corridor smelled of antiseptic and damp wood. A stark contrast to the streets outside. It was quiet, save for the occasional groan of a recovering patient and the soft creaking of boots against the floor.

Inside one of the rooms, a handful of officers stood around Hannes, who shifted uncomfortably under their collective scrutiny.

Erwin Smith stood in the center, hands folded his hands behind his back, his unreadable gaze fixed on the unconscious girl lying on the hospital bed. Hange Zoe, ever the curious one, had positioned herself at the foot of the bed, watching with an unsettling gleam in her eye.

".... In the distance, we saw her being chased by several Titans. I used my gear to climb down and order them to open the gate".

Hannes explained, recounting the Incident. "We pulled her in right after." He finished.

The tension in the room was almost palpable.

"… And you have no idea what happened to her?" Erwin's voice, calm yet commanding, cut through the silence.

Hannes swallowed, shifting his weight uneasily. "Uh… no, sir. I gave her some water when she suddenly fell asleep."

"I see". His answer didn't satisfy Erwin, but it was all he had.

The blond commander turned his gaze elsewhere.

"How long do we have to wait before she wakes up?"

The group had arrived not long ago. Questioning Hannes who had brought Ilse to the hospital.

Hannes had told them everything he knew. As for Ilse, she was still asleep. Non-responsive.

Hence, Erwin asked the only person who could give him answers to his question.

The Doctor. Edna Kreutz. A middle-aged woman with short, neatly cut auburn hair and sharp gray eyes that held the weight of experience.

She wore standard clothing common to housewives in Trost along with a thick coat on top of it.

With the exception of ODM equipment, Paradis Island was practically in the medieval age. The point being, medical coats for doctors hadn't been invented yet.

In response to his question, Doctor Kreutz shook her head and pushed her glasses.

"... From what you told me, she's been through a lot of Trauma. Which is why she passed out as soon as she reached safety. It's not an uncommon response. The exhaustion has probably been unbearable, and although her physical condition isn't too worrying, …".

Her gaze moved to the unconscious Ilse Langnar.

"… It may not be the same up here. Her mental state is fragile, and she's unresponsive to external stimuli. It could take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days before she wakes."

Erwin nodded slowly, his gaze lingering on Ilse's pale face.

"I see." He turned to the doctor. "Thank you for your service Doctor. Inform me the moment she regains consciousness."

Dr. Kreutz dipped her head. "Of course, Commander."

The group stepped out of the room, leaving the unconscious Ilse behind.

Outside, Pixis remained leaning against the wall, his flask hanging loosely in his grip. He took a swig, then smirked as he eyed Erwin.

"Poor girl," he mused. "Must have been through an ordeal."

Erwin remained silent, his mind already working through the implications.

Pixis chuckled, amused by the younger commander's deep contemplation. "Patience, Erwin. You'll get your answers soon enough."

"Indeed."

Erwin's gaze flickered to Hange. "We'll be staying in Trost a little longer."

Hange's eyes gleamed with curiosity. "You think she has something valuable?"

"She survived outside the walls for an entire day after the expedition ended. That alone is remarkable," Erwin said. "More than that, she had something urgent to say before she passed out. Whatever she knows, it's important."

Hange grinned. "This just keeps getting more interesting."

Erwin turned to Hannes, his expression softer than before. "Thank you, Captain Hannes. Your actions have possibly given humanity a much-needed advantage."

The man stiffened. "O-Oh, it was nothing, sir! Just doing what I should!"

"It is. I will remember this. Permit me to ask, Is there anything else you recall that might be of use?"

".... Well, I doubt I could be of more help commander. I only saw her running towards the walls …". Hannes uttered scratching his head. Then, suddenly remembered something.

"Also, she had this book on her".

He uttered, reaching into his chest pocket and taking out a small journal.

Erwin picked it up, opening it as his eyes scanned the contents.

Immediately, his eyebrows narrowed.

"Oh? Did you find something?" Pixis was the first to notice his abnormal reaction.

"Indeed. It's her journal, documenting everything she experienced while outside the walls".

Everyone let out a breath. Hange's eyes glowed with interest as she reached for the book.

"Well? What does it say?"

Erwin didn't answer as he flipped the pages.

The further he read, the deeper the crease in his brow became.

Time elapsed, and five minutes later …. he stopped.

For a long moment, he didn't move.

The room held its breath.

Then, finally, Erwin closed the journal.

He turned to everyone.

"It seems, I may have underestimated the significance of her findings …".

His words stunned everyone present. Erwin closed his eyes and took a breath, before handing the Journal to Pixis near the final pages.

The old commander read quickly, quickly becoming engrossed as well.

".. Um, sir?"

Behind him, one of his two escorts, Anka Rheinberger called out.

It was the first time she had witnessed her Commander carry such a stern expression. Quite contrary to his usual upbeat, and cheerful smile.

"Erwin, do you understand ... What this means?"

Pixis asked solemnly as he drew his gaze away.

"I do". Erwin replied. "If the contents in this book are true, then mankind it shows just how little mankind truly knows about the Titans …".

The Journal was handed to Hange.

Hange, snatched the book impatiently. Her expressions growing even more exaggerated than theirs as she read.

"Oh my gosh. This …. This changes Everything …". She said, her eyes glowing with fervor.

"Commander, we need to …".

"Commander Erwin. Commander Pixis".

It happened then. Loud shouts resounded in the hallway. Following which, two Garrison soldiers appeared from the corridor and rushed towards them.

Pixis raised an eyebrow. 'Another urgent report?

'

The soldiers rushed in, breathless with sweat dripping from their foreheads.

"Urgent message".

"We're under attack".

Pixis straightened, his drunken ease vanishing in an instant. "What?" His grip tightened around his flask. "Is the Colossal Titan back?"

The soldier shook his head, his face pale. "No—no, sir! It's not a Titan attack! It's at Headquarters! The Garrison is under attack."

"...".

"...".

"What?"
