3rd P.O.V.

To any average person, the two top-tier assassins would be teleporting. However, it was raw speed.

Speed that surpassed most.

Even though he had no extra equipment or enhancements, Tenkyu was only second to Kindaka with his light-speed shoes.

Meaning...

...

He could keep pace with Toji.

...

*CLANK*

Toji and Tenkyu clashed in the middle, one with a small dagger and the other with a bow.

Instead of focusing on his weapon, Tenkyu looked Toji dead in his eyes, keeping his hollowed face.

Toji's eyes slightly narrowed as he thought to himself. 'What the hell is with this kid?'

Out of everyone Toji has faced, nobody has wanted him dead more than the person in front of him. Well, maybe Geto after Toji killed the Star Plasma Vessel.

Since Toji could get a closer look at Tenkyu, it finally hit him.

The reason why this random kid attacked him.

Pushing Tenkyu backward, Tenkyu used the momentum to spin and aim a kick at the side of Toji's head.

Toji smiled as he held onto Tenkyu's leg.

*BANG*

He shot his pistol, aiming to wound the kid at least to slow him down. However, Tenkyu spun out of Toji's grip by touching the ground, avoiding the shot.

*PHEW*

While upside down, Tenkyu pulled back his bowstring and shot at Toji's stomach.

*splat*

Toji dropped his dagger and used his left hand to grab the arrow, causing his left hand to become impaled.

His eyes narrowed as he suddenly appeared in front of Tenkyu.

*BAM*

*BOOM*

Toji punched Tenkyu in the stomach, sending him flying through a brick wall.

A dust cloud was made, which would've made it difficult to track him, but Tenkyu was facing a monster with his senses dialed up to the peak of what even most jujutsu sorcerers couldn't achieve.

Putting away his pistol, he pulled the arrow out of his hand and took the split-soul katana out of the inventory curse.

He thought to himself as his hand visibly started to heal. 'The kid is good, but not good enough.'

During his fight with Takamura, Toji sustained less damage than he had against Tenkyu.

Rather than Tenkyu being stronger than Takamura, Tenkyu had a better matchup against Toji. Also, Toji was running through possible reasons why he attacked him, holding himself back in the process.

Takamura focuses on using his senses to fight, which can be a disadvantage when fighting someone who can completely hide his presence from everyone.

At least in this world, since nobody had the Six Eyes.

Toji was strong in this world due to the properties that he obtained with his Heavenly Restriction.

One of the primary benefits is a high level of regeneration.

It wasn't as effective as reverse cursed technique, but it was still impressive, considering he had no cursed energy.

All of Toji's injuries have already healed.

Tenkyu spoke up from the rubble. "That worm thingy stores your weapons, doesn't it?"

He walked out of the dust cloud, a fist print on his stomach and a thin blood trail down his mouth.

He continued. "Would you be sad if it died?"

It was a strange question if someone didn't know the context. Tenkyu wanted to give Toji a hint of what he was currently feeling.

His face had a hollowed, neutral look, but he was hurting more mentally than his outer wounds.

Tenkyu couldn't even feel his current injuries.

All Tenkyu wanted to do was destroy Toji.

One of his only friends was killed by the man in front of him.

Surprisingly, Toji smirked. "Who knows? I lost that feeling a long time ago. In any case, I've finally realized why you're so pissed."

Only one person came to his mind.

Tenkyu's eyes narrowed as Toji continued. "I recognize those eyes. You were buddies with hollow-eyes, weren't you?"

Toji initially found it strange because Tenkyu didn't fit the same description as all the other superhumans he encountered on the island.

He also wasn't a notable member of the JAA.

Toji had memorized the faces of every person in the Order, writing Tenkyu off the list of people who wanted him neutralized due to the hit the JAA placed on him.

Unlike how he likes to act, his neutral face dropped, and he started to scowl. "You took my best friend away from me."

Toji nonchalantly cracked his neck. "Kid, I don't even know who you are."

Tenkyu pulled back his bowstring as a tear went down his right eye.

As he was about to shoot at Toji, he suddenly fell to his knees, dropping his bow.

*BLEH*

...

He vomited on the ground as his injuries settled in.

...

Tenkyu didn't realize it, but Toji had hit him hard in the solar plexus, breaking a few ribs by proxy.

Targeting in hand-to-hand combat is one of the most important elements.

Hit the person in the right spot, and you can shut them down in seconds.

Tenkyu slowly looked up and saw Toji walking toward him.

*BAM*

He couldn't move as Toji kicked him in the side of the head, sending him to the ground.

Tenkyu clenched his teeth as tears finally started streaming down his face.

Toji spoke. "You were good, but not as good as Takamura."

He raised his katana.

...

...

...

*BAM*

Toji moved his right arm up to block a kick to the side of his body.

He went flying as he rolled on the ground.

Stopping his momentum, he jumped up.

Something of note was that he had a bruise on his arm where the kick connected.

Toji's eyes narrowed. 'What the fuck? I couldn't sense him until he was right next to me. Even worse, he kicked off the bottom third of the inventory curse.'

It spoke in pain. "MoMmY!"

A newcomer appeared above Tenkyu.

The newcomer, or Takeshi, spoke with a smile. "I can't have the boy dying."

Tenkyu had no idea who this guy was but was glad he was there.

When Takeshi met with Gaku to bring him off the island, he begged him to check on Tenkyu since Gaku knew how much of a monster Toji was.

Even if Tenkyu won, there was no way he could come out of the fight unscathed.

Toji stood up and stretched his arms. "I'm guessing you're with those clowns I dealt with earlier. Can I please just get off this damn island already?"

Takeshi had a small smile. "This will surely be entertaining. You won't be making it off the island, 115."

Toji smirked. "As long as you aren't a high teenager with blue eyes, I think I'll be just fine."

The two monsters jumped at each other.
