Anime Lottery System

"Whoa! I can't believe you beat him so quickly!" Paulie said. "I guess you're not a warlord of the sea for nothing."

"Yeah, but he shouldn't take it too harshly. The Captain is incredibly strong after all." Jack said.

"Ouch, that hurts. I have to say I didn't expect it to go that quickly. Still I was hoping to join your crew anyway so it honestly isn't that big of a deal to me." Sigmund said as he brushed himself off and made his way back to his feet. "I guess I should properly introduce myself, my name is Charter Sigmund, people call me Sig, nice to meet you." He said as we shook hands.

"Likewise, now you didn't get a chance to use it in the fight, but I am curious about what this contraption does." I said holding up the strange looking weapon that he was holding before our fight began.

"Oh that's my personal masterpiece!" He said as I handed back to him. "This, is the Machine Sword!" As he was speaking the sword changed into a scythe looking weapon. "This is scythe mode."

"Whoa, that's pretty cool. How many forms does it have?" I asked as I looked at it excitedly.

"So far only 5, it has Scythe Mode, Chainsaw Mode, Spear Mode, and Shield Mode. Obviously the fifth mode is the default Sword Mode." He said changing it back to its original form. "I'm working on adding new forms. It's tough because I can only work on it in my spare time."

"Well I think it's a pretty sweet sword. Given that we're called the Beast Sword Pirates, I think you'll fit in perfectly." I said patting him on the shoulder.

We left the shipyard after my successful recruitment of Sig and we continued to wait in town for our ship to be completed. The days went by without any incident, as the time passed I considered the time that had passed since I came to a new world. It had already been a year since I left the island I started at, which means it'd been about 18 years total that I'd been here. Luckily things had gone pretty smoothly so far, I even managed to become a Warlord of The Sea. I mean that's quite the achievement! Wait a minute. Achievement? Hey! It's been months since the system notified me about any achievements and I'd done a whole bunch of things, there's no way I haven't gained any achievements at all.

"Oh crap you finally noticed." The system clicked on and said as if it was a teenager that had been caught sneaking out by its parents.

"What so I did gain some achievements in the past few months?"

"Well, yes and no. I'll remind you that you selected the hard difficulty setting. In the hard difficulty setting achievements are far less frequent as you progress. That being said, you did get an achievement for becoming one of the 7 Warlords. In fact, we even drew it for you and you received Jellal Fernandez's Celestial Body Magic from Fairy Tail."

"Whoa really that's awesome! That's a really good power." I said excitedly.

"Yes it is very good. Too good in fact. We've actually been a bit troubled because you've been getting by too easily even though you set the difficulty to hard. To be frank, it's starting to get a little embarrassing for us. So we decided to not give you your reward."

"What? You can't do that! That's totally unfair! It's cheating! And why do you keep saying we? Who's we?"

Apparently the "we" question was a sensitive subject as the system quickly brushed it off and moved on. "Fine you are right. I am obligated to reward you for each achievement so I will. However, I have an alternate proposal if you're interested."

"I don't know, sounds kind of sketchy."

"No, no. It's nothing like that. It's just that you're already so powerful compared to your opponents. We figured that it would make it too easy. Plus it doesn't really match your current skill set don't you think?"

"Ok, that's a fair point I guess, so what's the deal?"

"We're going to skip rewarding you this time around, and next time you unlock an achievement we'll give you another zanpakuto from Bleach. That fits your style better anyway, and it's a better reward wouldn't you agree? After all, you're only supposed to be able to draw from an anime once."

"Yeah that's actually a pretty sweet deal I'll take it."

"Ha! Idiot! There's not that many achievements left. You'll probably never get one as long as you live! Hahahaha!" The system said as it clicked off. It seemed like it was becoming a bigger jerk every time I saw it, and I was kind of curious as to the we it kept referring to. But other than that the rest of our time spent waiting in Water 7 was uneventful.

By the end of the week Paulie had notified us that the ship was done and we'd be able to set sail today.

"Alright we know you guys were fond of your last ship, so we kept the same design and just made it bigger and badder." Paulie said as he unveiled our new ship.

It was exactly the same sleek design of our last ship right down to the twin fish design on the bow. By looking at it you'd almost think there was no difference between the two ships, other than the new ship being over 10 times the size. But the interior of the ship had several new rooms including a new training area that I requested, and an improved kitchen that I also requested because I knew Claudia would be too shy to request anything on her own.

As we all were inspecting all the new upgrades on our ship Paulie asked me, "So what are you going to name your new ship?"

"Well this isn't very creative, but since this ship is pretty much just an upgraded version of our old one I say that we just call it, the Purple Pisces Mk. II!" I replied to which the crew cheered.

"A great name Gai, I can't wait to get behind the wheel of this bad boy." Yuma said eagerly, I too was excited to set sail on our new ship.

"So where is our next destination captain?" Rei asked me.

I say that we set sail, for the New World!" I declared.
