Having added Eileen as one of his friends on Apex Online, Nash could easily gain access to her with a few clicks.
"We are good to go. I've found a fire resistance item for you. Let's meet up," he wrote and sent her a location before hitting the send icon.
Everything for the [Fiery Marsh] was now set.
Before going to meet up with Eileen, Nash had one last thing left to do in the [Lycan Hills] and that was to gather the wolf liver needed to make the life potion.
He needed three of them and so, he hurried to where the pack of wolves could be found.
Nash did not run from them earlier because he was weak or anything. He just wanted to use them to settle scores with Stone and his group, and he succeeded in doing so.
With Null as a companion, Nash easily slaughtered the pack of wolves including the alpha of the pack due to him possessing a superior attack power when running a combo with his sentient shadow.
A combo of a double [Stun Strike] and bone dagger assault was enough to finish the job. Not long after, the alpha wolf was killed without a chance at recovering.
Nash looked around after doing so to recheck if he was alone, because he knew that this sort of act can draw unnecessary attention since monsters of Apex Online were designed to be strong.
While they were not invincible, it would still be difficult for a player to defeat a creature of the same level without good equipment or skills.
This was the reason why teamups were common in Apex Online and only the strongest of players can attempt to take down a beast alone.
Nash knew he had to be careful since he was probably the only one at this stage who could defeat a monster on his own, thanks to Null.
If he uses this advantage wisely, he will definitely be bound to remain on the path of making a great name for himself and changing his life entirely.

By the time Eileen was getting to the [Lycan Hills], Nash was done with his killing spree and making of potions.
With the items, including the low level tonic, he had purchased after gathering 45,000 copper coins and along with the needed livers of the wolves, Nash was able to make three low level life potions.
He sat on a giant rock like a cool protagonist with the wind blowing across his face as he waited for his companion
"Sorry I'm late!" Eileen started apologising from the distance before she even reached where Nash was sitting.
Nash jumped down from the rock and met her, saying nothing in response to her apology. He merely took out the [Gold Ring] and one bottle of the low level life potion that he had made and refined.
"Here. You can have these," he said, handing the two items to her. "I've enhanced them to be quite useful to you."
"Put the ring on and it will give you the needed fire resistance for the dungeon while the potion will help you recover your HP instantly. Use it wisely," he added.
Eileen was almost drawn to tears.
She had not gotten any useful items since entering this game. So much that she wondered why she even continued playing since she was a complete newbie.
However, that perspective was undergoing a gradual change, all thanks to Nash and his help.
"Thank you," she could only say from the deepest part of her heart.
"With these, we can get even better things once we clear the dungeon and make money."
When Nash spoke about making money, he was not just referring to only their in-game avatars. He also meant real life.
At this stage, Apex Online only made provisions for copper coins and the ratio to dollars was at 1 dollar equals to 1000 copper coins. The items he had freely given to Eileen only cost him a few dollars in real life.
"I will treat you to a feast in the real world one day," Eileen said, further expressing her gratitude.
Nash chuckled. He found it funny how Eileen was totally swept off her feet by his mere gestures that he doesn't even consider to be much.
"I will be looking forward to that day then," he replied with a smile and started going forward.
Eileen followed and the two of them made their trip to the next dungeon.
The [Fiery Marsh].

While many players chose to hunt wild beasts because it seemed like the most reasonable thing to do than clear a dungeon, Nash was doing otherwise.
This was simply because he knew better.
Only later would players come to realise that dungeon tasks were better and more rewarding than farming experience from wild monster kills. Stronger players would prefer to clear dungeons since monster kills offered less experience and benefits.
Most importantly, death from a monster hunt would make the player drop a level whereas the same did not apply for dungeons.
If a player was to die in a dungeon, the punishment is not as severe. As long as he does not quit and the team clears the dungeon, the said player would not receive any punishment.
In a case where an entire team is wiped out in a dungeon, they only stand to lose about 30% of their experience so far.
If the experience is less than 30%, then it drops down to zero.
Without a doubt, dungeons offer better advantages and benefits.
Eventually, when more players start to hunt for treasures and upgrade their items and characters, they would shift their priorities to doing dungeon quests.
One of the major hindrances to dungeons would be the requirement that they possess, and this can vary from dungeon to dungeon for those that have. For example, to do the [Fiery Marsh], one had to have 5 points resistance to the flame attribute.
Entering the dungeon with anything less was instant death.
