"Thor's Hammer?" Lucas paused mid-sketch, blinking at the notification. His pen hovered above the page as a crooked grin spread across his face.
"This… feels a bit out of place," he muttered, imagining the iconic hammer wielded in the chaotic world of pirates.
With a flick of his wrist, he summoned the weapon from his system space. The hammer materialized in his hand, its weight reassuring and its surface gleaming with latent power.
"Wait a second," Lucas mused, turning it over in his hands. "Isn't this hammer supposed to only work for those with a pure heart and righteous mind? Does that mean… Blamenco fits the bill?"
He considered it for a moment before bursting into laughter. "Yeah, right. Loyal, sure. But righteous? That guy would trade a barrel of rum for a fistful of berries."
Lucas shrugged. The hammer had chosen Blamenco, and that was all there was to it. Besides, it suited him—a hammer for a hammer wielder, only this one packed a lot more punch.
Curious, Lucas decided to test it out. With a flick of his ability, he vanished from the room and appeared above the open sea.
Gripping the hammer tightly, he mimicked Thor's iconic spin. The hammer whirled in a blur, and before he knew it, he was soaring through the air.
"Haha! This is like riding a rocket!" Lucas laughed as he broke through the clouds, the wind whipping past him.
Once high above the ocean, he raised the hammer and willed it to summon a bolt of lightning.
Boom!
The thunder roared, loud and commanding. Lucas frowned, glancing at the skies.
"Wait… where's the lightning?"
It didn't take long for the answer to reveal itself.
A charred figure plummeted from the clouds, smoke trailing behind him. Lucas squinted, recognizing the rudder embedded in the man's head and the two swords at his sides.
"The Golden Lion?" Lucas muttered, his brows lifting in surprise.
Shiki, the legendary pirate, had been flying high above, perhaps revelling in some recent discovery, only to be blindsided by the stray thunderbolt. His scorched form flailed as he tumbled, looking around with a mixture of rage and confusion.
From the safety of his perch, Lucas stifled a laugh. "Poor guy didn't even hear it coming."
As Shiki tried to regain his composure, Lucas decided it wasn't worth drawing more attention. He spun the hammer one last time and hurled it downward.
Whoosh!
The hammer rocketed toward Shiki at incredible speed, sparking with energy. It connected with a deafening thud, sending Shiki tumbling head over heels before crashing into the sea.
Lucas didn't stick around to see the aftermath. With a quick manoeuvre, he vanished, leaving only the faintest ripple in the air.
When Shiki finally crawled onto a nearby floating platform, his eyes were wild with fury.
"Whoever did this…" he growled, clenching his fists. "You can run, but you can't hide! That hammer—when I find you, I'll make you pay!"
The battered pirate shook his fist at the sky, his voice echoing across the empty horizon.
