Chapter 40: A Sandful Defeat
From the sky and the earth, spikes of sand branching off one another dawn upon Tyr. Seemingly, there's no escaping this attack.
The spikes collide entirely, covering the terrain. "And there's the finale. Magnificent isn't it!!" She sighed. (He squirmed around a lot but the job is done.) She stood there waiting for the notification of his defeat but didn't see a word. "What? Don't tell me..."
Panning to the inside of the branch of sand protrusions, Tyr was inside with light scratches on his body. "80% Scarlet Rot Build Up." He bit into a Perserving Bolus, curing the build up entirely. "Agheel..."
"Right." His eyes split from two tomoe to three as his skin becomes scaly. A dome of purple energy expands throughout the area. The mass of the iron sand decreases immensely. He turns with ferocity destroying the landscape with an overarching blast of lightning improved by the gravity magic imbued into his sword.
Watching the sand dissipate from the dispersion of power surpised her. "I thought you weren't going to play around with me anymore?"
In his other hand was another sword of the same properties. Crackling around him was purple streaks of lightning that dissipate in a flash. "I can't lay out my cards all on the table now can I?"
She grins widely and assimilates more sand around her body. "As if that matters!!"
Her wings drop balls of sand into the ground to convert the sand and dirt in the sand into the Iron Sand. Making a tsunami of sand coming down onto Tyr. The ground is highlighted in purple lightning before him. Spikes from the ground increasingly grow in size as they approach the enormous wave of sand, stopping its progression. (The byakugan can't see through chakra constructs properly. So as long as I can block her byakugan's sight, I can get past her sand.)
A signature of chakra rushed up to the peak of the spiked landscape. "There!!" Needles of sand rush at the signature once it was above the wall of spikes. They strike a large Tree Sentinel shield imbedded with Tyr's chakra.
Bursting out of a hole underneath her, Tyr rushed through with his swords in hand waiting to cleaving through her. "What a joke, thats just a clo-....what its not one."
Multiple images of Tyr were lined up toward the hole beneath her. They were simply masses of chakra which blocked her vision from the true attack. Piercing through them, a pike of the ground drives her attention to the attack. "Shit!" She swarms her wings in front of her to divert her attention towards it. Sparks fly from the force of the blade colliding with her wings. But as this occurred, he appeared above her. "When did he get behind me?"
While screaming, Tyr crosscuts into her back with a graviton lightning slash. "Inryoku!! Graviton Lightning Flash!!" Lightning is condensed around his blades as she carves an x into Terra's back, cleaving through her iron sand and down to her muscles and bones.
The girl widens her eyes and her sand fades away. She begins to fall. And summoned her Crimson Flask. But a sword was driven through her back and splits up through her skull. "Can't have you coming back." He said to her falling corpse. The body starts fading as particles of grace. Tyr lands on the ground relieved at the fight. "Phew, She was a tough one." Tyr's Dragon scales vanish along with his sharingan. He sheathes his dual katanas and continues on his journey to Sellen.
