Chapter 42: Storm Assailant
With a large curved blade coming at, he evades by ducking under the slash. A large creature that had the blade chained to its leg, stops itself from moving further after the evasion.
It turns but a fist was already colliding with his head. It's cracked skull and mushed brain ends in it's death. Looking at it, he takes a dagger and starts skinning the lion and butchering it for parts.
(A lion's jacket would look nice.) Tyr thought.
He then continued on with the journey. Heading to a certain woman, a feeling want over him.
"Human, is there something wrong??" Agheel asked.
"No, I just ...."
"MOONLIGHT SLASH!!" Yelled a man from his left. He looked over and a flash of light raged forth.
He somersaults to left but the floor was cleaved through like butter. (What was that?? There's no mobs that have magic attacks in Limgrave. Did the world get invaded then?)
"You dodged that. You're the first one to dodge that since I got Moonveil."
(Got Moonveil? Don't tell me...) He turned to the origin of the voice and saw a man cladded in Darkness. He had a black aura coating his armor. His fit obviously based on the Night's Calvary 's armor. The only lighter toned colors on him was the Moonveil.
"You're the other player."
"The other player? What do you mean other? Do you have Melina as your Maiden?"
"..." Tyr was quiet.
"Right, so you're the second coming. You're the other player. But who came first doesn't matter right." He spun the blade between his fingers before gripping it. "All that matters is strength." The man sends out a horizontal slash. Tyr dips down to avoid and a arc of magic splits through the structures behind them, cutting half of the castle in two.
"This guy is dangerous." Agheel commented.
(...)
Retracting his blade, he then comes for a diagonal slash from his shoulder down. Tyr slips away from the attack by back stepping. He steps into a position where his hand is at his hip, his front leg is slightly extended and his right hand was aimed at the ground straightened out.
The player called Ronan thought to himself. (What is he going to do from that range?? Use magic? Once I see that circle or a spell I'll get out of the way immediately.)
Rotating winds circle his forearm. He extends his fist at Ronan and a gust of wind twisting is fired at him.
"Wind?!"
It covered such a large range at a high speed that dodging wasn't currently possible.
The wind took Ronan's body off the ground and carried him across the castle.
"Stormveil's combat style is pretty easy to use once you get a hold of it." He looked at his fist then closed it repeatedly.
"ITS NOT OVER YET!!" A enormous flash of light engulfs Stormveil castle, blinding it's inhabitants.
Cleaving through the very landmass Stormveil castle stood on, the arc of magic came flying at Tyr.
Gunne who was running to Witchbane Ruins saw a gleaming light from afar. Looking over, he was surprised at the sight of a crescent shaped attack flying away at high speeds. "Is that....no, let's focus on the task master sent me to do."
"This guy." Tyr is presumably consumed by the magical projectile.
The scene was devastating. The ground was split completely. Ronan lands on the rubble of Castle while smirking. "Did I go overboard?"
From the debris, Tyr arises. He jumped out, landing on a wall of the Stormveil Castle. (I don't get it. Attacks that large should take up a lot of FP. So how can he send out two effortlessly? Is this the ability he was given.)
"Glad to see you're not dead. Now, let's continue having fun." Dashing at the man, an over the shoulder strike came for Tyr. Gauntlets were equipped on his arms along with greaves for his leg. A diagonal high guard with his forearm commenced, blocking the attack.
"Oh~ Aren't you smart!?" The tarnished slashed and hacked his way at Tyr. All attacks were aimed at Tyr's vitals as if Ronan wanted to kill him in one attack.
Tyr picked his leg up to the level of his hip. Ronan adjust his sword to block his stomach but the foot hits Ronan's kneecap. (Shit.)
A fist comes barreling. Upper cutting him back through a wall. "Looks like you're just relying on the body of the tarnished to know how to fight. You never took the time out to understand the body and get used to combat." Ronan looked up and saw Tyr with his fist cocked back.
Winds spiral around his fist. Sending it out towards him, the area crashes down from the force of the storm.
(We are destroying too much of the castle. I have to get him out of here.) Tyr thought.
Ronan flew into the air but was bashed by Tyr. "Gah!! Let go of me!!"
"Let's take this elsewhere." They both disappear. They appeared in Limgrave.
"Heh, looks like it worked." Right beside them was a dagger with a tag on it. A wide smirk formed on his face.
A wave of darkness perils. Slapping Tyr through the dirt. He pressed down on the earth, stopping himself.
Ronan looked around for a second. "You changed locations. I don't know how you did but it doesn't matter. " He pointed at Tyr with Moonveil. "I'll be killing you anyways."
A tattoo existed on Ronan's forehead. A black ominous aura eludes from his body.
"How eerie." Tyr positioned himself into a kyokushin karate based fighting stance. With the Hangetsu Dachi foot pivoting and each hand positioned for the sides to be directed at Ronan, he looked prepared to battle.
The darkness envelopes Moonveil, turning it into an embryo blade. They both stare each other down.
Tyr stomps the ground, making the dagger rise up from the ground. He then kicks the dagger at Ronan. Ronan tilts his head to the left avoiding the attack. Tyr appeared beside him (When did he get to my side?!) and lands a kick to the stomach. But it was blocked by the Moonveil. Ronan glides back from the force.
He dashed back into action and Tyr follows. The two clashed, creating a large shockwave that decimates the land around them and creates a large crater.
