Nic stared at the descriptions, wide-eyed. In his mind, he muttered, "So that delusional Lily actually gave me some terrifying abilities... who would've guessed?"

After studying the new skills for a while, Nic went downstairs for dinner. Just like most nights lately, his sister wasn't home.

"Where is she again?" he muttered, checking his phone. He sent her a message, but all he got back was a sticker.

"What the hell? What's she so busy with that she can't even reply?" he groaned, setting his phone down in frustration.

The next day proceeded as usual. During lunch break, Nic headed to the cafeteria with Violet and Yui. But today, the cafeteria looked far more crowded than normal.

"Why is it so packed today?" Nic asked, puzzled.

Yui tugged at his sleeve and pointed toward the center of the crowd. "Nic, look! It's..."

Nic moved closer to get a better view. At the heart of the gathering, a student was slumped over a table, looking painfully full. Nic turned to a nearby student. "Hey, what happened to him?"

The student replied, "That's the Food Monster. She's back. This time she challenged anyone to eat as many burgers as possible."

Nic spotted a girl sitting confidently at a table piled high with burgers. She ate cutely but without pause, then shouted, "Who's next?!"

Nic grinned, intrigued. "Now this is interesting."

He told Violet and Yui to order their meals first. "I'm going to take her on," he said.

He took the seat recently vacated by the defeated student. The atmosphere shifted in an instant.

"Holy crap, it's Nic! Is he really going to take on the Burger Monster?!"

The girl, Mika, stared at Nic with intensity. "Take me down? Hmph, keep dreaming," she said, still chewing.

Nic smirked. "You're still eating even though the match hasn't started. Not afraid of losing?"

Mika laughed loudly. "It already started, you dummy! Let's go!"

A plate full of burgers was placed in front of Nic. He began eating rapidly, but as time went on, fatigue set in. Mika kept chomping down casually, though she did cough briefly.

"Ugh, embarrassing... choking at a time like this," she muttered, blushing.

Pushed to his limit, Nic decided to activate the Lust God skill. He focused it on hunger—suddenly, his appetite became monstrous.

He devoured burger after burger at lightning speed, causing Mika's eyes to widen. "What the hell?! You're like a real monster!"

Feeling challenged, the cute glutton girl matched his pace, transforming into a burger-devouring beast herself. The cafeteria turned into a battlefield of two eating titans, clearing the cafeteria of all burgers.

The crowd was stunned.

"Are they... human?!"

Violet and Yui watched with blank expressions.

"Haha... now what's Nic doing?" Violet sighed.

"As always," Yui muttered.

Eventually, Mika declared a tie. "The burgers are gone. It's a draw."

But Nic wasn't satisfied. With a feral look in his eyes, he growled, "No way! I don't do draws!"

Mika frowned. "But there's nothing left to eat! What do you want to do, chew the tables?!"

Nic challenged her to continue the match after school at a nearby burger joint. Mika, who usually did the challenging, found herself stunned—but grinned.

"Fine! Don't run away, okay?!"

Later, Nic walked with Violet and Yui. On the way, he deactivated his skill—but the side effects hit him hard. Nausea washed over him like a wave.

Without a word, he dashed to the bathroom, leaving the girls behind in confusion.

In the restroom, he threw up violently. After a while, he heard retching sounds from the next stall. Apparently, Mika was also throwing up—likely from the sheer amount of food.

They emerged at the same time, awkwardly facing each other.

"What are you doing here?" Nic asked, still sweating.

Mika replied shyly, "What do you think? Bathroom, washing my face. What about you?"

"Same," Nic answered with a flat tone.

Without another word, they parted ways—both hoping no one had seen them in their pitiful state.

After the school bell rang, Nic packed his things. As he said goodbye to his girlfriends, Vivi and Leona called out in unison, "Must be girl trouble!"

Nic chuckled, trying to play it off. "Nah, just some errands," he said with a smile, waving goodbye.

Following Mika's directions, Nic arrived at a burger restaurant near school. As he walked in, he saw Mika already sitting at a table, happily munching away.

"You already started eating?" he asked.

"Duh, it's my favorite!" she said with a mouthful, giggling.

Nic grinned. "Okay, this time I'm buying."

He placed a massive order. The cashier blinked at the number of items.

"Sir, are you... serious with this many?"

Nic casually swiped his card. "Dead serious. Hehe."

The cashier stared at the amount, thinking Nic must be loaded. When the order was complete, the server asked them to move to a larger table, as the food wouldn't fit on a regular one.

Mika looked confused but followed. When all the food arrived, Nic smiled broadly. "So, Mika, are you ready?"

With full confidence, Mika nodded. "Bring it on!"

The match began. Nic even asked one of the waiters to keep track of how much they ate. The poor waiter watched in disbelief as the two chowed down at inhuman speed.

"Are they... even real?" the waiter muttered while scribbling furiously.

Burger after burger disappeared until there was nothing left on the table. Mika, visibly tired but satisfied, asked, "So? What's the score?"

The waiter double-checked and announced, "It's close. 50 to 48. The winner... is the guy!"

Nic cheered. "Yes! You were amazing, Mika. You almost had me!"

Mika pouted, crossing her arms. "Hmph! I don't accept this! Whatever!" She stomped like a child, making Nic laugh.

Shortly after, Mika excused herself to the restroom. Feeling queasy himself, Nic followed.

In the bathroom, he thought, She must be throwing up again like me yesterday...

But when they came out, Mika suddenly said, "Nic, I want to be honest about something."

Nic perked up, expecting her to admit she couldn't handle that much food. "Oh, I really want to hear this," he said with a wide grin.

But her confession caught him off guard. "I threw up because I was emotional. I hate losing. When I don't win, I get mad, stressed, and... yeah, it makes me nauseous."

Nic stood there, stunned by her honesty. He realized something important: even with his cheat skill, he barely beat her.

As they walked out of the restaurant, Nic glanced at Mika and said, "I think I like you, Mika. Your honesty is really cool. You're the real winner today."

Mika gave a small smile, but quickly said, "Don't fall for me. I'm just a food monster."

Nic chuckled. "Well then, how about I confess to the cute food monster right now?"

Mika stuck her tongue out. "If you confess now, I'll reject you!"

Nic, expecting that answer, laughed. "Fair enough. Thanks for the fun match, Mika!" he said, waving as he walked away.

As he stepped out of the restaurant, his phone vibrated. A message from the system appeared:

"Starting tomorrow, Mika will begin falling in love with you."

Nic smiled knowingly. "Looks like I won more than just a food fight today."
