Destroying My Own World

Chapter 243: The answer.

Vincze and Bhatmelec were on their knees with their pool of blood right under their feet. They had been trying to improve their skills by creating a paradox from Bhatmelec's skill [Ethereal]. Mykel explained to them as they watched how those two were trying to make a paradox, and that it all began with Bhatmelec's skill.

Bhatmelec's skill was to injure Vincze from the future since she could travel from the future to the present. The moment Bhatmelec injured him in the future, Vincze used his skill, [Sagacious], and prevented that future from happening. Since the future that Bhatmelec created didn't come to reality, that future created another reality where Vincze was wounded.

Since they both had been doing that for hours, the atmosphere around them became so dense and suffocating. Nobody was allowed to get close to them because they could be sucked into another reality and would be problematic.

"Why those two are still fine and not getting sucked into another reality?" Rozan asked as he looked at Vincze.

"Because they're the host, or you can say they're the portal that connects all realities they have created," Odin answered after he observed the miracle in front of him. "What I'm afraid of is how long until these realities shatter and affect our reality. They need to stop," Odin pointed out as he looked at Mykel.

"I'm not powerful enough to manipulate the paradox event, and I'm still far from reaching that point," Mykel answered after he told Vincze and Bhatmelec to stop. "Those realities will stay here forever," Mykel added.

"Can I try to erase them?" Elena asked and stood next to Mykel, looking at the blurry field in front of her like it was covered in thin fog. "This might be helpful to us if I can make those paradoxes nonexistent," Elena explained.

Mykel nodded his head as he walked to the side and let Elena do her thing.

Elena covered the field with her life energy, but to everyone's surprise, her life energy was sucked into the other realities. She couldn't stop it from sucking her life energy, but she didn't panic and used that opportunity to look inside those realities.

At first, she was fine until suddenly she groaned and fell to her knees as she was forced to detach her life energy from her body. She looked shocked and was out of breath, she also looked pale which made everyone worried.

"As I thought, it's too dangerous and too powerful even for her," Nal said as she stood next to Mykel. Stay tuned to My Virtual Library Empire

"What's going on? What do you mean it's too powerful even for her?" Luciel asked as she looked at Nal.

"Well, this is going to be hard to explain, but I'll try," Nal sighed as she turned around and looked at everyone. "Those realities, they exist because they both created them. The problem is, in those realities, they don't look like this. The paradox, the portal, they don't exist in those realities, they only exist here. This portal is only a one-way ticket. So basically if you enter that reality, you can't go back here unless you created multiple realities like what those two did it," Nal explained and she looked troubled to make it easy to understand.

"Those realities are all the outcomes of their fights, so it's logical that their realities will look normal. So that's why the portal only exists here and not on the other end. The chances of going back after entering are impossible. The reason is because you can't find this reality to go back, and since it's a paradox where the possibility is infinite, it would take at least an eternity if you wanted to try to find it," Mykel explained.

"That's how The Lord was born in this world. He created a paradox by creating himself in another reality from another reality. A cycle of creation of himself in different realities, that cycle will last for eternity as he's an everlasting being that finding his beginning would be impossible," Mykel pointed out with his arms crossed.

Hearing that, everyone was terrified and didn't want to get too close to the portal to other realities. If they had to deal with something like that, they needed to be prepared for the worst of the worst.

"But why is she like that? What happened to her?" Gunnar asked as he pointed at Elena who was recovering her life energy.

"To put it simply, she got attacked by hundreds or perhaps thousands of herself from other realities. They thought her life energy was a threat and so they attacked her," Mykel answered. "That's why she had to let go of her life energy to save herself," Mykel continued as he gave Elena his life energy.

"That thing is too dangerous to be in an open like this. I understand now why Odin is scared of it, and I think we should seal it somewhere," Aurea said as she looked at the thin fog.

"That won't be a problem," Amaryllis came out of the portal next to Mykel. "I'll handle it," Amaryllis said so casually.

Amaryllis snapped her fingers, and just like that the fog disappeared and the portal to the other realities disappeared. Everyone was baffled and couldn't believe in their eyes that Amaryllis could easily remove it while Mykel and Elena couldn't.

"The logic of this world and the law of this world, I'm the one who controls them. I can erase them as simple as putting a limitation of the possible futures," Amaryllis explained.

Mykel, Nal, and Odin hummed with understanding and realized something like that would be enough to stop the paradox. The others, on the other hand, didn't understand what Amaryllis said, but whatever it was, they were all amazed by her ability.

"Mykel, you said that finding his origin is impossible and the fact there are infinite copies of The Lord, can we really do this?" Jeanne asked with a worried expression and everyone was on the boat with her worry.

"Yes, it's as I said earlier. To find this reality will be impossible, and although The Lord can manipulate reality and manipulate the paradox events, that doesn't mean he would abandon their own realities to fight us," Mykel answered. "Even if he somehow decided to come to our world, what you just saw earlier, we can cut off our reality from the others, making it impossible to track," Mykel continued.

"Once the paradox is broken, the endless cycle of The Lord will break as well, or at least the one from our reality. I believe the omnipotent power that he possesses will disappear when his infinite loop of realities and himself gets disconnected," Mykel explained as he looked at them with a serious expression. "Once I attained the same power as him. I'll turn the reality into my reality, the law of the world, and the law of nature as well, just like what Amaryllis just did," Mykel continued.

"That's why you said that you would owe your life if Vincze and Bhatmelec managed to succeed in this experiment. You want them to be able to manipulate realities and cut it off, but that means you're going to lose your power too if The Lord loses his power, no?" Luciel pointed out as she looked at Mykel with a confused look. "If that happens, won't The Lord from other realities will stop you from doing that?" Luciel asked.

"Not necessarily the case," Amaryllis answered with confidence. "Mykel has me, and I have possessed most of The Lord's wills. I have turned those wills into my wills and if Mykel lost his power, I can easily replace it with my version," Amaryllis explained.

Everyone started to understand the big picture of the new plan that Mykel was trying to take. It wasn't a bad plan, in fact, it might be the best, most perfect, and secure plan.

Amaryllis decided to help Bhatmelec and Vincze achieve the goal they were trying to achieve. The others were also trying to help them with the skills they possessed that might help them. Lillith's [Abysmal] skill, Nagy's [Phantasm] skill, Lyneth's [Vesper] skill, Gerrard's [String of Fate] skill, and lastly Shelly's [Inanity] skill. Those skills were the skills that were capable of defying laws.

"This is what I want," Nal said as she followed Mykel into the cabin. "This is the plan that we both are looking for," Nal continued as she sat down at the table.

"Don't get too excited. This plan isn't perfect enough, and I need to have multiple backup plans," Mykel said as he put a cigarette in his mouth. "This is where the adults talk," Mykel sat down and looked at Odin and Nal at the table.
