The bear tried to turn its head back — but Gu You didn't give it a chance. He unleashed a flurry of strikes, a brutal combo that left the Darkgold Terrorclaw Bear knocked out cold.

Standing atop the massive creature's body, Gu You cracked his knuckles, letting out a sharp click.

In his mental world, he connected to the beast — this was a thousand-year Darkgold Terrorclaw Bear, a creature capable of challenging even ten-thousand-year beasts. He had to preserve it carefully. Pulling out a soul power bottle, he began condensing the bear's spirit into his mental domain.

The bottle's energy drained rapidly. Before long, a full Soul Douluo's worth of stored soul power was completely spent — but the bear's spirit was successfully condensed. Gu You let out a relieved breath.

The staff outside could only watch in stunned silence. Too powerful… it barely even seemed human.

Now it was time for the spoils!
