Chapter 26 – Goodbye Wukong! Start Practicing
After Wukong left Capsule Corp, he reappeared at The Lookout. The instant he materialized, he walked over briskly and said with a grin:
"Tiantian, I want to enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber again for training!"
Tiantian was momentarily stunned. "But… Mr. Luya is still inside."
Goku smiled, scratching his head in typical fashion: "That's fine! The Time Chamber allows two people at once, right? You upgraded it recently, didn't you? Besides…"he grinned wider— "I'd like to train alongside Luya!"
Tiantian paused, then nodded thoughtfully. "Alright, I'll have Mr. Popo guide you there."
"Thanks!" Wukong said brightly.
Not long after, Goku stepped through the ornate entrance of the Time Chamber and immediately, the immense pressure and the blinding whiteness hit him.
But what stood out most was the overwhelming aura surging from within.
He gasped inwardly. This ki… it's immense! And refined too…
He clenched his fist, excited. "Wow! This guy's really something! Definitely Saiyan potential… If Luya joins us in the Universe 6 Tournament, he'll be a huge asset!"
As he followed the energy signature, he found Luya mid-training.
The Saiyan was floating in mid-air, launching a rapid flurry of kicks and punches at seemingly invisible enemies. Each blow cracked through the air with thunderous shockwaves. His movements were swift, precise his ki completely stable, yet immense. The vast crater beneath him hinted at the sheer intensity of his training.
Whoosh!
Luya spun and launched a final piercing strike into the void, then abruptly halted.
Noticing Goku, Luya relaxed and floated downward. A wisp of steam drifted off his shoulders as his body cooled down.
"Yo! Luya!" Goku waved casually, flashing his usual sunny grin.
Luya offered a faint smirk in return. As expected, he had sensed Goku's ki approaching long before he entered the chamber.
He descended and approached. "Mr. Wukong… what brings you here?"
Goku rubbed the back of his head. "Haha, Tiantian told me you kinda predicted I'd be looking for you… How'd you know?"
Luya stiffened slightly. Crap… I forgot Goku asks too many questions…
But he smiled calmly on the surface. Good thing I've watched the entire Dragon Ball timeline.
He thought quickly: Given the threat from Universe 6, and me being one of Earth's strongest, it's only natural they'd come looking.
Of course, the irony was that Goku being well, Goku—almost forgot Luya entirely. If not for Tiantian's reminder, he might've asked Krillin to join instead.
"Ahh, just intuition," Luya said smoothly. "I figured you guys would need all the help you can get."
Goku nodded slowly. "That makes sense…"
Then he perked up. "Actually, I came to invite you to the Universe Tournament!"
Luya blinked. He wasn't surprised, he knew this was coming but he still had to act it out.
"Hm? What's that?"
Goku launched into a (somewhat clumsy) summary of everything: the revelation of multiple universes, the existence of Universe 6, Champa's challenge to Beerus, and the prize, Earth itself versus the Super Dragon Balls.
Luya nodded along, feigning curiosity.
But just as Goku was wrapping up, he suddenly paused and frowned thoughtfully.
"Wait… Luya, are you… a Saiyan from Universe 6?"
Luya's eyes narrowed ever so slightly.
Goku stared at him seriously, not accusingly, just curious—like a kid trying to solve a puzzle.
A beat passed.
Then Luya shook his head.
"No. I'm not from Universe 6."
Goku smiled, satisfied. "Alright! Then you're eligible to fight for Universe 7!"
He held out a fist. "So? Want to join us?"
Luya gave no hesitation this time. "I'm in."
Oh shit! Only a fool would hesitate now. Luya had a mission, and pretending to be modest would be like removing his pants just to fart—pointless and embarrassing.
"Alright then! Welcome aboard!" Wukong grinned, stretching his hand toward Luya with that classic Saiyan enthusiasm.
Luya smiled faintly and gripped his hand in return.
"Let's train together while we're here," Goku added. "Training alone is a little dull, right?"
Luya nodded. "Exactly what I was thinking."
From that moment on, Goku and Luya threw themselves into intense, no-holds-barred training inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Every day was a battle. Every moment, a collision of fists and energy waves.
Their auras roared across the endless white void, lighting it up like twin suns. Their bodies collided at speeds even the naked eye couldn't follow, causing the very air in the chamber to shudder.
Three days outside passed, but inside the chamber, three full years had gone by.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Vegeta refused to fall behind. After learning Goku had entered the Time Chamber, he exploded with rage.
"That damned Kakarot! Sneaking off to train again without telling me! That's a disgrace to Saiyan pride!"
Unable to hold back any longer, Vegeta marched straight to Whis. He no longer bothered with pretense or pride.
"Train me," he demanded bluntly.
Whis smirked, but when Bulma brought out her signature feast gourmet desserts, perfectly grilled meats, even Beerus's favorite cup ramen, Whis caved immediately. "Very well, Prince Vegeta. I suppose I can squeeze you in."
With that, Vegeta resumed his personal training under Whis, pushing himself to master divine ki more efficiently than Goku.
Beerus, of course, remained content, lounging in the Capsule Corporation's gravity-modified space capsule. As long as Bulma provided a never-ending buffet, Earth remained safe from destruction for now.
After all, Destroyer Gods don't carry wallets, and Bulma? She was practically the goddess of wealth.

Five days passed in the outside world. The deadline for the Tournament of Destroyers drew near.
And then BOOM!!
A shockwave erupted at the Lookout. The doors to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber burst open. Two battle-worn figures staggered out Goku and Luya.
"Wukong! Mr. Luya!" Tiantian hurried over, her face filled with concern.
Goku grinned sheepishly. "Sorry! We got carried away in there! Nearly overstayed the time limit!"
Luya patted dust off his shoulder, his aura subtly flaring as he looked skyward. "That place is insane… I wish we could remove the time restriction. Imagine what we could achieve with unlimited access."
"One day outside equals a year inside," he added. "With enough time… even surpassing the Gods of Destruction wouldn't be a dream."
But Tiantian quickly shook her head. "That's dangerous! Modifying the Time Chamber's rules could disrupt space-time itself. Earth might collapse… and Lord Beerus wouldn't take that lightly."
Luya froze. "…Right."
Goku chuckled and stretched his arms. "Still, nothing beats getting stronger through fighting real masters! That's where the fun is."
Tiantian smiled gently. "Mr. Luya, Wukong… you've both changed. You seem… older. More refined."
Three years of constant battle had matured them. Luya no longer looked like a boy. His physique had hardened, and his aura now radiated controlled devastation.
Wukong waved a hand. "I'm good with my usual gi, but maybe Luya could use something new?"
Tiantian nodded and crafted him a new outfit—a green, form-fitting Saiyan-style battle suit with black gloves and boots.
Goku turned to him and grinned. "Let's go see Lord Beerus. I want to introduce you properly."
Luya smirked. Time to meet the cat god in person… Let's see if he senses anything from me.
Whoosh!
With a surge of energy, the two vanished.

Capsule Corporation – Training Grounds
Wukong and Luya materialized at the training platform just outside the space capsule.
As soon as they appeared, they spotted Vegeta clashing with Whis—the prince's fists blurred as he aimed for Whis's pressure points, but the angel effortlessly dodged with a polite smile, using nothing but his staff and graceful sidesteps.
Goku gaped. "Huh?! Vegeta! You said you weren't gonna train with Whis!"
Hearing the shout, Whis paused mid-motion, and Vegeta halted his assault with a scowl. "Hmph! And you! Don't think I don't know you snuck into the Time Chamber with Luya!"
Goku froze, caught red-handed. "Uh…"
