c51 — Shock! I Predicted Your Prediction!
Hit was sent flying!
This scene stunned the entire arena!
"Luya... he actually withstood Hit's strike and countered it?! That's insane!" Goku's eyes lit up, visibly impressed.
Vegeta narrowed his eyes in disbelief. He, too, had faced Hit's infamous Time-Skip fist firsthand and there was no doubt: neither he nor Kakarot had managed to take it head-on without damage. Vegeta especially had been knocked down flat by one of Hit's direct blows during the Universe 6 Tournament.
But Luya not only endured the pain he fought back!
It shook everyone.
In the center of the ring, Hit calmly wiped blood from his cheek, then looked at Luya with intrigue.
"You actually anticipated that."
Luya raised an eyebrow. "This is my first time facing you. I knew I couldn't dodge your Flash attacks. My only choice was to draw you in closer force you to commit. I paid a steep price for it..."
He clutched his stomach, the burn of impact still searing. Now he fully understood why Goku and Vegeta had both fallen to this assassin's precision strikes. Against a weaker fighter, one of those punches would be lethal.
But in the heat of battle, Luya had begun to analyze Hit's pattern every motion, every twitch. He was syncing with the rhythm of Hit's assault.
"You're able to predict Goku's prediction through Time-Skip. So, I flipped the script: if you predict my prediction... then I'll predict yours. That's how I'll beat your Flash Mode!" Luya declared, a confident smile forming.
Hit smirked. "That's easy to say. Let's see if you can actually do it."
"I will do it!" Luya roared. "As long as I have the Strongest Saiyan Talent, I'll keep evolving! I'll surpass my limits and I'll defeat you!!"
His energy erupted—Kaio-Ken burned to its peak and the red aura fused with golden lightning!
Zzzt!!
In an instant, Luya vanished and reappeared directly behind Hit, launching a powerful punch at point-blank range!
Reacting immediately, Hit activated Flash Mode white light surged, and the Time Cage returned, freezing Luya's movement in mid-attack.
But just as Hit moved to counter Luya suddenly shifted inside the frozen zone!
"What?!" Hit's eyes widened. Luya caught his fist!
BOOM!!
Without hesitation, Luya drove a full-power punch straight into Hit's abdomen! An invisible shockwave burst clean through the assassin's torso, the sheer pressure ripping apart the time field!
"UGH—!!"
Hit choked violently, coughing blood. The Time Cage shattered, and his Flash Mode collapsed on the spot!
"Hit!!" Champa jumped to his feet, his entire body tense. Cold sweat dripped down his cheek.
"YES! He did it!!" Goku, Beerus, and the others erupted in excitement.
"He actually broke through Hit's Flash Mode... that's unreal!" Krillin muttered, drenched in sweat.
Goku had previously disrupted Hit's Time-Skip by combining Super Saiyan Blue with Kaio-Ken x10 but Hit had grown tremendously since then. His Flash Mode now exceeded the one-second mark, making it exponentially more dangerous.
BOOM!!
Hit dropped to one knee, panting heavily as pain coursed through his body. He had never experienced this before. He was the one who attacked others—his precision, his prediction unmatched. And yet, he had been struck directly.
Could his enhanced Time-Skip, refined to over one full second, really be broken?
It seemed impossible.
But Luya stood confidently, golden-red aura blazing.
"I predicted that you would predict my prediction," he said coolly. "That's why your Flash is starting to lose effectiveness."
Hit clenched his jaw and staggered to his feet.
"Why...? How did just one punch... hurt me this badly?!" he muttered in disbelief.
Luya spoke calmly, his aura still flaring red with the intense power of the Kaio-Ken:
"Your actual combat power in head-to-head fighting isn't overwhelming. Your true strength comes from your Time-Skip. But now that I'm using Kaio-Ken x18 on top of Super Saiyan 2... I'm above you."
"Damn it... damn it!!" Hit growled, his composure cracking. With a sudden roar, he activated Flash Mode again his upgraded form of Time-Skip and launched a flurry of countless punches at Luya, vanishing and reappearing with each hit!
Luya swiftly dodged. Though Hit's speed had transcended time itself, Luya had fully adapted to his rhythm, reading his movement patterns and anticipating his attack vectors. With his heightened senses and sheer speed, Luya could now evade even attacks from beyond time.
"Ha!!"
With a battle cry, Luya countered with a crushing punch. A thunderous shockwave echoed as his blow intersected Hit's fist mid-flash, canceling the attack with raw force!
"I told you, I can predict your prediction!" Luya roared, following up with a fierce spinning kick!
Hit raised his forearm just in time to block bam!!
The sheer force of the kick launched Hit backward, skidding across the arena!
Luya had the upper hand!
Hit, panting, stared at Luya and questioned, "Even Goku, using Super Saiyan Blue with Kaio-Ken x10, couldn't maintain that state for long. How are you still going strong?"
He could see it clearly Luya wasn't showing any of the usual signs of strain. No muscle spasms, no internal damage, not even shortness of breath.
Luya gave a faint smirk. "Because I'm stronger."
In truth, if Goku could use Kaio-Ken freely without the massive toll on his body, he likely would've defeated Hit before. From Luya's perspective, the fact that his body can endure Kaio-Ken x18 on top of Super Saiyan 2 puts the odds in his favor. He can last longer and hit harder.
Hit narrowed his eyes and assumed a battle stance. "I underestimated you. But next time, I'll go all out."
Luya raised his arms and grinned. "Then come at me."
By now, Luya had fully adapted to Hit's advanced Time-Skip techniques, even the upgraded Flash Mode. It was all thanks to his ability: Strongest Saiyan Talent—a trait that rapidly evolves in real combat. No wonder Broly, another Saiyan with this rare ability, was able to overwhelm even Goku and Vegeta at full power.
Luya was ascending in real time.
Boom!!
With a blast of red-gold light, Luya exploded forward, appearing in front of Hit instantly. The boost from Kaio-Ken x18 pushed his speed beyond the norm—he was now matching Hit's Flash movements directly!
A flicker of aggression crossed Hit's face as he tried to vanish again using Time-Skip, activating Flash Mode around himself. But this time, even with a full second of skipped time, he couldn't find an opening Luya had no exploitable gaps!
All Hit could do was dodge!
"Trying to run?!" Luya snarled, his boots cracking the stage as he launched forward. In a blur, he caught up and slammed his fist into Hit's face!
Hit reeled, pain etched into his expression as he staggered backward. But before he could reset, Goku appeared in front of him in Super Saiyan Blue, joining the assault!
Fists rained down like thunder! Luya and Goku together were overwhelming two Saiyans with elite instincts and evolving techniques. Each blow rocked the battlefield, sparks flying, energy flaring!
Hit was completely on the defensive.
From the stands, Champa panicked, shouting: "Fight back!! Counterattack, Hit! Don't you dare lose!!"
The crowd was speechless.
"I didn't expect Universe 7's Saiyans to grow so fast," said Cabba, eyes wide with awe. "Their potential is terrifying." Then, remembering someone, he muttered: "If she were here... she'd be thrilled to see this."
"Excellent! The momentum has shifted in Luya's favor!!" Beerus, who moments ago was tense, now stood tall and triumphant. "This kid's performance... tsk, I guess it's passable."
Watching Champa's livid face, Beerus smirked smugly.
"This can't be real... Not only did Kakarot surpass me... now there's another one?!" Vegeta's expression darkened. Inside, he was seething. Being passed by Kakarot was already frustrating enough but now Luya too?
And he's also a Saiyan?
The title of "third strongest of the century"... was no longer a joke. It was his reality.
