The warehouse became Aiden's entire world for the next two weeks. Day after day, he pushed his body and mind to their absolute limits, ignoring the endless calls and messages from everyone he knew. His phone sat forgotten in a corner, buzzing occasionally before going silent. He didn't need distractions—not now.

With his training plan established, Aiden focused on achieving one goal: perfection.

...

Aiden knelt in the corner of the warehouse, a jagged piece of rusted iron in his hands. The sharp metallic smell filled his nostrils, and his stomach churned at the sight of the chipped, corroded surface. He gritted his teeth, closed his eyes, and bit down.

The taste was vile, like chewing on a mix of battery acid and blood. He gagged but forced himself to swallow.

"How the hell does Gajeel do this with a smile?" he muttered, his voice muffled by another piece of iron.

The process was slow, grueling, and disgusting, but as he consumed more iron, he could feel the magic responding. His body felt sturdier, his strikes sharper. Every bite brought him closer to mastery, even as his taste buds begged for mercy.

...

Moving on to Earth Dragon Slayer Magic, Aiden crouched near a patch of dirt he'd dragged in from outside. The sight of it didn't inspire much confidence.

"Dirt… great," he sighed, scooping a handful into his mouth.

It was gritty and dry, coating his tongue and throat. He powered through it, eating handful after handful until he felt the faint stirrings of Earth magic within him.

Water was easier by comparison. He chugged bottle after bottle, letting the liquid magic flow through him. He started experimenting, creating small whirlpools and blades of water, refining his control with each attempt. The fluid nature of the element made it versatile, but also difficult to contain.

...

Shadow and White magic presented an entirely different challenge. Unlike iron or dirt, they weren't tangible objects he could simply consume. They required focus and precision.

For Shadow magic, Aiden dimmed the lights in the warehouse and concentrated on the darkest corners. He visualized the shadows as a substance he could mold and consume. Slowly, tendrils of darkness slithered toward him, and he opened his mouth to absorb them. The taste was cold and bitter, like drinking ink, but the magic resonated with his movements, allowing him to vanish into the darkness momentarily.

White magic, however, was far trickier. It wasn't just about light—it was about consuming the essence of purity and illumination. Aiden spent hours meditating in beams of sunlight, absorbing slivers of white energy bit by bit. He noticed that anything white, even mundane objects, carried traces of the magic he could draw upon.

"This could be incredibly versatile," he noted in his journal, sketching potential uses for both Shadow and White magic.

...

Lightning quickly became Aiden's favorite. It was wild, untamed, and exhilarating. He set up a makeshift generator in the warehouse, letting it spark and crackle as he practiced absorbing the electricity.

The sensation was unlike anything else—sharp and tingling, coursing through his veins like adrenaline. The speed and power it granted were unparalleled, and Aiden found himself grinning despite the occasional shock burns.

"I could get used to this," he said, darting across the room in a blur of light.

...

Aiden stood amidst the remnants of the abandoned warehouse, his mind racing with possibilities. The past weeks had been grueling, each day dedicated to mastering the various Dragon Slayer magics he had acquired. Now, as he prepared to increase his versatility, he contemplated how to combine these elements to maximize his combat effectiveness, as Such he pulled out his notebook and started to scribble his ideas

'First thing's first, Fire and Lightning'

"Natsu's Lightning Fire Dragon Mode was a game-changer," Aiden mused, recalling the moves of the legendary Dragon Slayer. "Combining the destructive force of fire with the speed of lightning could create devastating attacks."

He envisioned cloaking his fists in roaring flames, then infusing them with lightning to enhance both power and speed. The searing heat combined with electrifying velocity would make for formidable close-quarters combat techniques.

'Now on to Iron and Shadow'

"Gajeel's Iron Shadow Dragon form allowed him to merge the solidity of iron with the intangibility of shadows," Aiden thought, considering the defensive and offensive capabilities this combination could offer.

By hardening his skin into iron and using shadows to obscure his movements, he could become a nearly indestructible and elusive opponent. This duality would enable him to withstand heavy attacks while positioning himself strategically in battle.

'Next up, Sky and Water could be a great combination'

"Wendy's Sky Dragon Slayer magic grants healing and support abilities," Aiden reflected. "Combining it with water could enhance those properties, allowing for restorative techniques with greater versatility."

He imagined creating soothing mists infused with healing properties, capable of revitalizing allies and himself during prolonged engagements. This combination could also provide offensive capabilities, such as high-pressure water jets guided by wind currents.

'Now Let's see if the new magics can work with each other'

"The synergy between earth and water can manipulate terrain to my advantage," Aiden noted, recalling how these elements could be combined to create mudslides or quicksand.

By liquefying the ground beneath his enemies, he could trap them or alter the battlefield to restrict their movements. This strategy would be particularly effective in controlling the pace and flow of combat.

'Of course I cant forget the Shadow and White's great synergy'

"Sting and Rogue demonstrated the potency of combining light and shadow," Aiden remembered. "The contrast between the two can be harnessed for unpredictable and powerful attacks."

He contemplated creating blinding flashes followed by swift, shadowy strikes, overwhelming opponents with the sudden shifts between brilliance and darkness. This tactic could disorient foes, leaving them vulnerable to subsequent assaults.

'And Finally, Speed, What could be better the Sky and Lightning for that'

"Enhancing mobility is crucial," Aiden considered. "Combining lightning's speed with sky's agility could make me an elusive target."

By infusing his movements with electrical energy and wind currents, he could achieve rapid acceleration and swift directional changes, making him difficult to predict and counter.

...

By the end of the two weeks, Aiden's progress was undeniable. His level hadn't changed, but his mastery of his magic was on a completely different level. He could seamlessly switch between elements, adapt to any situation, and execute devastating combos without hesitation.

Standing in the middle of the battered warehouse, Aiden surveyed his work with a rare smile. He was exhausted, bruised, and covered in soot, but he had never felt more prepared.

"I'm ready," he said to himself, slinging his bag over his shoulder. "Time to go back to school."
