Fairy Tail: I Stole the Ryujin Jakka in My Sleepwalking

Brain's words proved true; the Dark Capriccio pierced Finn's flames. A hole appeared in the seemingly impenetrable, all-consuming fire barrier.

"Be pierced by this unstoppable assault!" Brain grinned, his magic having breached Finn's defenses.

"So… what will you do now, Sun God Finn?"

Finn, watching the incoming Dark Capriccio, said thoughtfully, "Piercing, huh? Indeed, quite rare. But…"

He forcefully swung Raging Fire; the surrounding flames danced in response.

The blade struck the dark green energy beam directly. Instantly, the seemingly all-penetrating Dark Capriccio came to a complete stop, as if utterly unable to overcome Raging Fire.

With another powerful swing, an invisible slash spread outward. Brain's prized Dark Capriccio was instantly shattered, its magical particles consumed by the surrounding flames.

The residual force of the slash continued to expand, creating a shockwave akin to an explosion that whipped Brain's white hair and gouged a massive trench in the ground!

"What?!" Brain's eyes widened in disbelief. "My attack… so easily countered?" He had clearly seen that Finn hadn't used any magic.

Just a simple sword swing, yet it possessed such terrifying destructive power…

He composed himself, pushing off the ground with force, his body instantly vanishing from sight.

A magic capable of short-range teleportation. Having once been a member of the Magic Council's development division, Brain had, naturally, researched numerous types of magic, and this was one of them, albeit with significant limitations.

However, using it sparingly during combat could prove quite effective.

Finn frowned. Although Brain was no longer visible, he could still sense the lingering magical energy in the vicinity.

"Behind you!" a voice called out from behind.

Finn reacted instantly, turning around to find Brain with both arms outstretched, an abyssal amount of magical energy gathering in his hands.

"Dark Magic: Dark Capriccio Scream!"

A far more intense magical energy beam erupted than before.

"This is an enhanced version of the Dark Capriccio. Try and counter this one!" Brain shouted, his voice filled with a mixture of confidence and barely concealed arrogance. This attack represented the pinnacle of his current power, and he couldn't believe that Finn would be able to counter it with such ease.

However, what met him was an even more ferocious torrent of flames, accompanied by a flame slash that seemed to cleave the very heavens themselves!

Brain's prized technique, once again, couldn't withstand the onslaught, being completely consumed by the raging inferno in less than three seconds.

Watching the flames approach, Brain realized he was utterly powerless to stop this monstrous opponent…

"Pshh~~"

The slash impacted Brain's body, and for a moment, Brain's world was reduced to nothing but the color of fire. A massive wound opened on his body, spurting blood relentlessly.

"Were the Six Oración Seis… all annihilated like this?" The question echoed in his mind.

He reached out a trembling hand, touching the last of the marks on his face, which was now rapidly fading.

"Fine, I'll leave it to him…"

With a heavy thud, Brain collapsed to the ground.

Brain, a member of Oración Seis, was defeated.

The moment Brain's facial markings completely vanished, the presence he had always feared began to consume his body.

The massive wound across his abdomen began to swiftly heal.

His previously tightly closed eyes slowly fluttered open, the whites of his eyes gradually being overtaken by a blood-red hue. Through those crimson eyes, one could only perceive an overwhelming aura of cruelty and unbridled madness.

A tremendous surge of magical energy erupted from his body, causing the surrounding area to tremble violently.

While the figure remained the same, the oppressive aura emanating from him was far beyond anything Brain had ever been capable of.

"Zero has appeared…" Hoteye, having rejoined the rest of the allied forces, murmured, his gaze fixed upon Nirvana.

Jura, his expression grave, also focused his attention on Nirvana. "That malevolent magical energy… I can faintly sense its presence even from this distance," he stated solemnly.

"Finn will be alright, won't he?" Wendy's worried voice echoed through the air.

"Ah, don't worry, it's Finn we're talking about! Zero or whatever else comes his way will get completely wrecked!" Natsu declared confidently, his arms crossed and a look of unwavering trust in his eyes.

"That's right. It's Finn we're talking about," Gray added in agreement.

Erza remained silent, her gaze firmly fixed on Nirvana, as if she could still perceive the figure locked in the ongoing battle.

"So this is Brain's alter ego, 'Zero'?" Finn said, observing Brain—or rather, Zero—who had just risen to his feet after being knocked to the ground.

"Brain was truly useless, wasn't he? It seems I'll have to finish this myself," Finn remarked, a hint of playful mockery in his tone.

"This is becoming increasingly interesting. My guild has been completely taken care of," Zero stated, his blood-red eyes fixated on Finn's surprisingly youthful figure.

"But speaking of which, it's been quite some time since I've experienced this kind of exhilarating sensation!" Zero removed his coat, stretching his limbs with a satisfied sigh. "This body, this voice, this overwhelming magical power… it all brings back such nostalgic memories!"

Zero lowered his gaze, his hands clenching slightly, the veins in his arms bulging prominently.

A cruel smile spread across his lips, devoid of any attempt to suppress his immense magical power. A nauseating wave of magical energy emanated from him, spreading relentlessly throughout the surrounding area.

"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Zero! I am the master of the Six Oración Seis," Zero announced slowly and deliberately.

A playful smile graced Finn's lips. "I'm aware. I've been waiting for you. Brain was always too weak to be of any real interest."

"Oh? You little brat, you've got quite the big mouth, haven't you?" Zero raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his eyes.

"You destroyed my guild. I won't let you get away with that so easily!"

Finn shook his head calmly. "If you're capable of doing so, then by all means, try."

Zero erupted into unrestrained laughter, his innate destructive instincts unleashed completely.

Both figures vanished simultaneously from their positions.

In the next instant, the two found themselves standing face-to-face in the center of the control room, Zero's magic-imbued fist colliding with Finn's flame-wreathed blade.

Fire and darkness engaged in their first, explosive confrontation.

The control room, perched atop the towering structure, instantly crumbled and disintegrated under the sheer force of their clashing magical energies.

Outside, the sky, as twilight approached, began to churn violently. The deafening roar of their magical confrontation and the surging shockwaves that emanated from their clash enveloped the entire forest, uprooting countless towering trees.

"What an unbelievably terrifying display of power!!"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, this can't be serious!"

"Just the collision of their magical energies alone is capable of creating such a horrifying spectacle?!"

The onlookers, witnessing the apocalyptic scene unfolding before their eyes, couldn't help but let out gasps of astonishment and disbelief.

"Hahahaha, it is this kind of power, this kind of youthful figure, that truly deserves to be utterly destroyed!!" Zero roared with unrestrained, maniacal laughter amidst their ongoing clash.

"Heh, countless individuals have attempted to destroy me. Yet, here I still stand, while they've all been sent to hell," Finn retorted with a sardonic chuckle.

With another forceful exertion of his arm, Finn swung Raging Fire, the blade slicing viciously across Zero's body.

"Pshh!" Zero's arm was sliced open by Finn's blade, a torrent of blood spurting forth.

Finn spun around, delivering a powerful kick that sent Zero flying several tens of meters away!

Zero lowered his gaze to examine the wound on his arm, his expression of crazed madness intensifying. He raised his arm, bringing the blood to his lips, as if savoring its taste.

"I never imagined that such a powerful being existed. I will utterly destroy you!" Zero roared, his voice echoing through the shattered remains of the control room.

"Dark Rondo!"

Countless beams of dark green magical energy coalesced upon Zero's fist.

Unlike Brain, who had launched his attacks from a distance, Zero kept the concentrated energy within his fist, unleashing a devastating punch towards Finn. The Dark Rondo formed a massive, semi-circular energy blast in his hand.

Finn swiftly shifted his blade, once again aiming for the dark green energy before him.

"Do you know? I derive immense satisfaction from watching things… from witnessing their complete annihilation under my own hands," Zero declared, his magical output increasing exponentially.

Even the ground beneath Finn's feet couldn't withstand the sheer force of their clash and disintegrated instantly.

Both figures plummeted to the next floor below.

Finn, expertly using a semi-crouching stance to absorb the impact, pushed off the ground with explosive force, his body launching forward like a cannonball, a torrent of flames erupting from behind his legs. He landed a powerful kick squarely on Zero's abdomen.

Zero, having just landed on the ground, widened his eyes in shock as the immense force of Finn's kick sent him flying once more, shattering the ceiling of this floor and propelling him towards the surface of Nirvana.

Using the thrust of his own flames to propel himself, Finn swiftly returned to the upper floor, a playful smile gracing his lips.

"It's not just you who enjoys destruction, you know. Fairy Tail excels at it," Finn stated with a confident smirk.

Extending his hand towards Zero, Finn began to murmur an incantation. "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!"

Listening to Finn's incantation, Zero, who had just managed to pull himself to his feet, furrowed his brow. "Could this be some kind of chant-based magic?" he muttered to himself.

"Hadō #63: Raikōhō!"

A blinding bolt of lightning coalesced in Finn's hand before exploding outward with tremendous force.

In the blink of an eye, it enveloped Zero's body completely.

BOOM————

A deafening roar accompanied the thunderous explosion, obliterating the surrounding structures without exception. The power of the fully chanted Hadō was truly awe-inspiring.

Finn nodded with a satisfied expression. To be honest, Finn himself wasn't entirely certain of the true extent of the power behind many of his techniques. After all, the vast majority of his opponents had posed little to no real threat to him.

Therefore, he rarely utilized high-level Hadō techniques like this one. However, Zero proved to be a worthy opponent, possessing considerable strength.

Furthermore, the location of the battle—atop Nirvana—allowed for unrestrained destruction without any significant consequences. This kind of battlefield, this type of opponent, was something Finn had been eagerly anticipating for quite some time.

This was also the reason why Finn had refrained from initiating his own unsealing process until this very moment; it provided the perfect opportunity to gauge the true extent of his current power.

As the dust settled, Zero's form was revealed. He bore the marks of the Rairyuho's attack, his body showing signs of injury, and his clothing somewhat torn.

Zero stared in disbelief; it had been a considerable amount of time since he had been reduced to such a battered state.

He brought his two fingers together, a magic circle forming between them. "Dark Capriccio!" A spiral beam of black energy shot forth from his fingertips.

This was the same magic Brain had used earlier, possessing exceptional piercing power, capable of penetrating even Finn's fiery barrier.

Now, unleashed by Zero, its danger had increased exponentially.

Finn lightly tapped his foot against the ground, launching himself high into the air, allowing the attack to pass harmlessly through the wall behind him.

"Heh, utterly useless!" Zero let out a booming laugh, his fingers swiftly adjusting the trajectory of the attack. The spiral energy beam, having already pierced through the wall behind Finn, emerged once more, hurtling directly towards Finn's back.

"I'm not as weak as that pathetic Brain. I can manipulate my magic with complete freedom!" Zero declared with a chilling confidence.
