Game of Thrones: The Drogon Voice

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Male Wizard Haiya

Daenerys has almost nothing now, and the people who follow her have not gained anything from her, but she has not done anything wrong to them.

She had also secretly vowed that once she got out of her current predicament, she would reward them handsomely to live up to their following, but she didn't expect that a betrayer would appear around her so soon.

"Who bribed you? Tell me and I will make your death a quick one."

"Khaleesi, Lord Xaro is as wealthy as a nation..."

Doria, who is good in bed, has no moral integrity in keeping secrets for her employer.

"Khaleesi, what's going on?" Jorah walked in breathlessly, glanced at the messy courtyard and asked anxiously.

"It's Xaro." Daenerys' face was gloomy.

"It's him." Qiao La murmured.

"How did you guess it was him?" Daenerys was a little puzzled. Xaro did not show any intention of wanting a dragon.

"Today I also heard that there is a peculiar custom in Qarth. On the wedding day, the wife has the right to ask the husband for a token of love. It can be anything. In return, the wife must promise to give the husband something, no matter what the husband asks for."

Daenerys didn't expect that Xaro didn't want her as a person, but wanted her dragon. No wonder there was no such desire in his eyes when he looked at her yesterday.

"What do we do now?" Jorah looked at Daenerys.

"Have you found the ship?" Daenerys wanted to leave Qarth right now. She was not welcome here, and there were people who were always coveting her dragon. Even someone as polite as Xaro started to rob her. She didn't know how many people would do the same.

This time she has Drogon and the others, but they are still young after all. If more enemies come, even her little dragon will find it difficult to deal with them, and she will not be as lucky as today.

Hearing Daenerys' question, Jorah replied with some guilt: "I haven't found it yet, but I have heard some news about Westeros."

Hearing that Jorah had not found a ship yet, Daenerys couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. She wanted to leave Qarth more than ever now, even overshadowing the news from Westeros.

"How is Westeros now?" she asked again.

"Ed was beheaded, he..."

"Ed was killed? Didn't you say the new king wouldn't kill him?"

Upon hearing that Eddard was really killed, Daenerys immediately questioned Jorah. He had vowed that the new king would not kill Eddard, but he was killed just a few days later.

Drogon's prophecies came true one by one. After several shocks, Daenerys's nerves became stronger and she was no longer as panicked as she was at the beginning.

This is also thanks to Drogon's performance today. It was he who brought Rhaegal and Viserion to burn to death the Qartheen who were trying to steal the dragon. If Drogon hadn't discovered it in advance, Rhaegal and the others might have been captured on spears before they could even take off.

If Drogon could save them once, could he save them a second and third time? So this is why Drogon wants to train them? Only when they are strong can they avoid death.

Daenerys secretly made up her mind that she would have to urge them to train more vigorously in the future.

After hearing Daenerys' questioning, Jorah had no rebuttal. He also did not expect that the new king Joffrey would behead Eddard under such circumstances.

"Go on." Seeing that Jorah did not make any excuses, Daenerys knew that his analysis that day was reasonable. As for why the new king killed Eddard, perhaps they had personal grudges. With Daenerys's political mind, this was the only possibility she could think of.

"After Eddard was beheaded, his eldest son Robb marched to King's Landing but was stopped by Tywin. Tyrion the Devil took over as Prime Minister. King Robert's brother Renly was assassinated, and another brother Stannis was preparing to attack King's Landing."

"Isn't Tyrion a dwarf? How did he become the Hand of the King?" Daenerys puzzled.

[The little devil is not an ordinary dwarf, he really has the qualities of a prime minister. ] Drogon replied in his heart while listening to the news from Westeros.

Drogon even knows about the Little Devil? It seems that he knows him very well. Daenerys is slightly surprised. Could it be that Drogon is really the reincarnation of the black dragon Balerion, the "Black Death"? And he also has the ability of foresight?

The two successful prophecies made Daenerys more convinced of Drogon and she began to have wild thoughts.

"I don't know much about imps," Jorah admitted frankly.

[This is the importance of intelligence. It would be great if Varys the Octopus Spider could come.] Drogon missed Varys a little.

Who is Varys? Hearing Drogon's inner thoughts, Daenerys had a new question. She still lacked information about Westeros and King's Landing. Most of her previous information came from her brother Viserion's repeated nagging.

"What about Doreah?" Jorah asked Daenerys after understanding what had happened.

"Gather everyone." She hated betrayal the most and would not show mercy even to her personal maid.

"Khaleesi, please spare me this time. I promise it won't happen again." Hearing that she could not escape death in the end, Doreah cried and pleaded with Daenerys.

Daenerys ignored her and turned her head to look at the blue sky in the distance with a firm and resolute expression.

When all the Dothraki gathered in the courtyard, Daenerys signaled Rakharo to carry out the execution, ignoring Doreah's crying. Rakharo showed no mercy and killed Doreah's men cleanly and efficiently.

The Dothraki people don't care about life and death. A wedding is not considered a proper wedding if several people don't die. They also hate betrayal.

[What a charming head.] drogon sighed in his heart.

Daenerys: "..."

Looking at the falling head, Jorah's heart couldn't help but skip a beat.

"Mother of Dragons! When will you go to the Palace of the Immortal?" A sudden voice suddenly came from the door.

The man had no hair or eyebrows, deep eye sockets, grey pupils and blue lips. He was one of the thirteen giants that Drogon met outside the gate of Qarth.

"The wizard Baya Pree!" Jorah whispered to himself. At the welcome party held by Xaro for Daenerys, Baya had invited her to the House of the Undying. She didn't expect that Baya would come in person today.

Daenerys glanced at Jorah before saying, "Lord Baia, I have been very busy lately and have no time to visit you. I will visit you when I am free."

At the welcome party, Daenerys witnessed the weirdness of Baya, which reminded her of the witch Mirri who killed her husband and son. It is better for her to stay away from such people.

"But the Immortal has waited too long, and as a servant, I feel deeply uneasy about this." Haiya said expressionlessly.

"Immortals?" It was the first time Daenerys had heard of them.

"He is my Lord."

"Please tell the Immortals that I will visit soon." Daenerys continued to decline.

"You really make it difficult for me." Haiya said and tilted her head...
