Gol D. Ace In Coiling Dragon

Chapter 282: Book 10: Part 1 – 100 Years In The Celestial Realm

It had been a little over 100 years since Ace and Amira's battle against Lord Violet-Cloud, and as one would expect, the disturbance it caused in the Celestial Realm was anything but small.

Rumours of Ace and Mira's cultivation realm spread like wildfire. After all, it wasn't every day you'd hear of a Demi-God jumping ranks to defeat a High God, let alone a commander-level High God like Violet-Cloud.

Many, for good reason, believed the rumours were greatly over-exaggerated, especially as Ace and his group were completely unheard of prior to that incident, but with the repeated assaults on Ace and his group led by the Fate Seeker's Association, everyone understood that not only were the rumours true, but Ace and Amira weren't the only freaks in the group.

In fact, each and every member of their group was a monstrous genius in their own right, with all of them being full gods with incredible levels of weapon handling, each of whom had apparently fused a minimum of three profound mysteries.

But aside from Ace and Mira, there were three other members of the group that stood out.

The first was Alissa. The moment she used her bloodline in public, it was instantly recognised as the bloodline of the Divine White Tiger of the Infernal Realm's Four Divine Beast Clan. Between that, her incredible knifesmanship, and the fact that she was around halfway to completely fusing four profound mysteries, her current strength had reached the peak of the Six-Star Fate Seeker level and was steadily approaching the 7-Star level.

With the current state of affairs of the Four Divine Beast Clan, her being here in the Celestial Realm raised quite the number of questions, but it only went to support the theory of their group having risen up from one of the many material realms before ascending into the Celestial Realm, especially as Alissa, despite clearly having a very pure bloodline, didn't seem to have awakened her Divine Ability. Something that every junior of their clan would have done the moment they broke through to the saint realm.

Plus, there was absolutely no chance that the Four Divine Beast Clan would even think about allowing a supreme talent like Alissa to risk her life in such a manner, especially in the domain of one of their enemies.

The second of the group to stand out was Leona. Though no one could recognise her bloodline, solely due to the overwhelming capabilities of her tyrannical body and the fact that she refused to take human form – despite being a deity – choosing to remain in her Lion Form, it was obvious that she was an Apex Divine Beast.

But, as though that in and of itself wasn't enough, she was also a two-way soul mutate. Still, as shocking as that was, the thing most found truly horrifying about her was that, despite being an Apex Divine Beast who should struggle badly when it came to comprehending the laws of nature, every time she was seen to fight, she seemed to have made noticeable improvements in her understanding of the laws of fire.

She was last captured in battle a few months ago, but not only had she completely fused four profound mysteries, but she had even started fusing a fifth.

Altogether, it was no surprise that Leona was considered one of the group's foremost and most terrifying experts, as she could be regarded as a peak 7-Star Fate Seeker on her own.

Still, the one that caused the biggest stir among the group was Killian – the group's three-way soul-mutate who had achieved a 10% fusion of five of the six profound mysteries of the laws of earth.

As a result, after 100 years in the Celestial Realm, Killian's power had reached the level of a commander. It could only be compared to a weaker Commander, but it was definitively at the Commander level all the same.

Still, it was his status as a 3-way soul-mutate that truly caused the stir to the point where their group was approached by two separate sovereigns on two separate occasions hoping to take him in as an emissary.

Thankfully, this was a scenario that Beirut had long seen coming. Before leaving the Yulan Plane, Beirut had already explained that although rare, there were still a number of 2-way soul-mutates spread across the various realms, but as far as 3-way soul-mutates went, there was only one known. As such, it was only a matter of time before Killian was approached to be recruited.

Beirut explained that although Sovereigns wouldn't lower themselves to deal with a mere deity for simply rejecting them, they had a million and one ways to make their lives more difficult.

There were only two ways to reject them without offending them. The first was to be a paragon-level expert.

Although Sovereigns were lofty beings that stood at the apex of the universe, the beings everyone respected most – Sovereigns included – were paragons. The skill required to successfully fuse all six profound mysteries made each paragon a being truly worth respecting. As such, unless a paragon had done something to directly offend a sovereign, they would never do anything like forcing them to do something against their will or acting against them over something as trivial as rejecting the,

The other way to reject them without the risk of offending them was to be associated with another Sovereign. Whether that was through familial relations or to already be the disciple or emissary of another Sovereign, as long as you were associated with a Sovereign, no Sovereign would overstep and risk offending another sovereign over simply being rejected.

Obviously, Killian had no familial relations with any of the Sovereigns, but it was all too easy to pretend he was the disciple of a Sovereign already, especially as one of their Yulan Plane's Sovereigns was the grandfather of his sworn brother.

It was for that very reason that before leaving, Bluefire had given Killian a Soul-Protecting Sovereign Ring that not only also acted as a spatial ring but also held his personal symbol.

Although Bluefire was a newly promoted Sovereign who was otherwise unknown by the other Sovereigns, the symbol etched into the ring acted as something of a communication device. As soon as Killian channelled his Divine Energy through the symbol, it would summon a projection of Bluefire's will, allowing him to talk directly to the Sovereign attempting to recruit his "disciple."

Thankfully, both attempts were dealt with fairly simply, and after that, it was quickly spread among the Sovereign community on the Celestial Realm that Killian was the direct disciple of a new Sovereign, after which no more Sovereigns wasted their time trying to recruit him.

Still, even as shockingly powerful as Killian was, no one was surprised when they heard that the crew was led by Ace.

As it stood, although individually, he was only strong enough to rank third – after Killian and Leona – when using the [Dual Battle Tactics], with either Amira or Leona, his power jumped directly to that of a more powerful Commander.

Still, with so many powerhouses under one roof, the legends of the Golden Sun Pirates were quickly spread through the Celestial Realm. Although they couldn't compare to the truly powerful factions, they were definitely strong enough to rank among the top factions. Especially as it seemed the Fate Seeker Association were unable to deal with them.

They even released their bounties to non-Fate Seekers, allowing anyone powerful enough to claim the rewards should they kill them:

Captain of the Golden Sun Pirates: Ace – 50 Billion Fatestones First mate of the Golden Sun Pirates: Killian – 45 Billion Fatestones Leona of the Golden Sun Pirates – 40 Billion Fatestones Amira of the Golden Sun Pirates – 25 Billion Fatestones Alissa of the Golden Sun Pirates – 20 Billion Fatestones Kannal of the Golden Sun Pirates – 10 Billion Fatestones Joel of the Golden Sun Pirates – 9 Billion Fatestones Osiris of the Golden Sun Pirates – 7 Billion Fatestones Yulana of the Golden Sun Pirates – 4 Billion Fatestones Faye of the Golden Sun Pirates – 4 Billion Fatestones

Unfortunately, no matter who was sent, the Golden Sun Pirates seemed able to deal with whatever or whoever came after them. Over the last hundred years or so, they had fought numerous famous experts of the Celestial Realm, but each group dispatched was successfully dealt with.

Not only did it allow each member of the pirate crew to improve at a rate faster than they would normally, but it also allowed the Golden Sun Pirates to amass a level of wealth that would make most forces green with envy.

Although the last hundred-plus years had been ones of joy for the group, today wasn't exactly a joyous one. Today was the day they would be saying goodbye to Qimai and Weslor, the two children taken under their wing by Kannal back just after they first arrived.

Originally, they had planned to drop them in the first city they came across, but after the incident at Violet-Cloud City, they were forced to change their plans.

Though neither of the two siblings had an official bounty of their own yet, they didn't know how desperate the Fate Seeker Association were to catch them. If they were truly desperate enough, they might capture the two siblings and use them to track them down; as such, they were forced to bring them with them.

Thankfully, because of the speed at which each member of the Golden Sun Pirates improved and the fact that the Metallic Lifeform they had was a large one that had the defensive capabilities of a High God, they never had any true close calls, allowing them to easily keep the two siblings safe.

Still, neither Qimai nor Weslor were children anymore. Both were well over a hundred years old. And after receiving guidance from not only Kannal but all of the crew, their strength had improved by leaps and bounds.

Both were now Full Gods who had completely fused two profound mysteries, and Weslor, the younger of the two, had even begun fusing his third mystery.

They were far from a powerhouse, but they still had more than enough power to protect themselves, especially as they had also mastered the [Dual Battle Tactics], allowing both their individual might to jump to the level of a 5-Star Fate Seeker and even match a 6-Star Fate Seeker when working together.

Although reluctant to leave, both siblings felt ready to begin their own adventure in the Celestial Realm away from the umbrella of the Golden Sun Pirates.
