Heavenly Asura Path(Percy Jackson)

Chapter 15: Heavenly Asura Path 15

Chapter 15: Towards the Dusk Forest

Staring unblinkingly at the ceiling, Percy found himself lying covered in his bed. His gaze seemed a little strange, while his thoughts were on how weird the previous night was. For the first time since he left Tartarus, he was able to sleep peacefully; he didn't wake up from his nightmares or roll around in bed trying to sleep.

He still didn't know who the person was who sent him the blue cookies, but he enjoyed them like never before. He knew it wasn't the old man, he wasn't one of those who did things that way. If he had wanted to send him cookies, he would have left a letter with more direct words.

His body seemed to feel a little lighter, as did his heart. Percy always felt like his heart seemed to be pressured by something, and he subconsciously knew why this was so, but he didn't want to admit it.

Besides everything he experienced in that place, one of the things that worried him the most was his mother. He didn't want to see her before coming to this planet, he was afraid that she would reject him because of the gods' words. In fact, he didn't even want to ask the old man about his mother. He had already lost almost everything, but hearing that his mother could hate or disown him would really break him completely.

Now, however, it seemed that those worries had diminished a lot. In the end, Percy understood that he preferred his mother to be happy, safe, and hate him rather than be in danger by loving him.

Suddenly, he felt something inside his being tremble as if it were speaking to him. Percy could only let out a sigh before smiling slightly. Anaklusmos, now also called the God-Slaying Saber, seemed to communicate with him, encouraging him. She was the first martial spirit capable of communication. No, in fact, I think it was better to call her a spirit soul at this point. Anaklusmos was no longer so simple, she could even become a goddess when Percy reached the God Realm that the Douluo Planet was affiliated with.

"It seems I will have to increase my spiritual power further," Percy nodded decisively. If he wanted to speak better with Anaklusmos, he would need to be able to enter her spiritual sea and help her fully form within the spiritual sea.

. . .

Percy looked to the side from his usual chair, watching as a man entered his tent. The man is thin and looks like a javelin. His hair and beard are dark green and his eyes shine like emeralds. His entire presence feels illusory, like a ghost. He wears only a simple, unadorned grey robe with his hands tucked into his sleeves. He has beryl eyes, green nails, eyes as cold and fierce as a viper.

"Don't get too close, I don't want your poison to affect some things in my tent," Percy's words immediately stopped the man. The man's cold green eyes stared intently at Percy for a long moment before he opened his mouth.

"It seems you really are an expert in medicine. If it wasn't for me being told about the auction yesterday, then I wouldn't have been able to meet you."

"What do you want?" Percy asked, getting straight to the point.

"Since you know I'm poisoned, then you should know how to fix my problem. I'll pay you handsomely."

Percy's dark eyes flashed with a sea-green glint for a moment before returning to normal. Even though the man seemed to have no expression on his face, Percy could tell how distressed he was.

"Powerful… a poison so powerful that it even poisons the person who uses it. Do you have family?"

"… I do," Percy sighed before shaking his head at the answer, "Fine, I'll help you."

Percy stood up before walking over to a piece of furniture, where he took out a small bottle of pills and threw them towards the man.

"Your poison is too powerful, so much so that I don't have any pills capable of completely curing its effects. These pills will detoxify your body enough for you to move the rest into your spirit bones. If your family, whether it be children or grandchildren, are young, then you can help them move the poison they inherited into spirit bones; if they belong to a poison-type spirit beast, it's even better."

The older man looked at the pills and listened carefully. When he heard about spirit bones, his eyes sparkled.

"How did I not think of that? Of course, spirit bones!"

Putting the bottle of pills away, he raised his hands and thanked as he bowed his head slightly and brought a fist and palm together.

"Thank you very much. I, Dugu Bo, will not forget this favor."

"Dugu Bo?" Percy muttered a little surprised to see this man. Even though he had not been well-known in the world, he was already a genius for reaching level 89 before he was 80 years old.

"Would you be willing to come with me to the Dusk Forest? I have a personal space there; as a thank you, you can choose any herb from there."

Percy looked at Dugu Bo and nodded. Knowing the strangeness and opportunities within the Dusk Forest, Percy had no intentions of refusing.

"Excellent," Dugu Bo smiled in delight. He knew that having someone like Percy as an ally was very good, so he would have no problem offering him all the herbs in the Dusk Forest if necessary. They would grow back in the future anyway.

As the two of them walked out and flew towards the Dusk Forest, Liu Erlong snorted in annoyance as Percy left without even returning her gaze. She felt a little sad about this, but she couldn't do much.

"I…" she didn't know what to do. Ever since she met Percy, her feelings for Yu Xiaogang had started to fade away, which scared her a little. She had been in love for more than ten years, but now it seemed like it was fading away too easily.

"Damn man! He's like a damn plank of wood!... He's so stiff and cold," Liu Erlong cursed as she walked back home, but she also thought that Percy wasn't that simple. Especially when she remembered that horrible presence that sometimes emanated from his body.

"What things have you been through?" she muttered as she looked up at the direction Percy left with Dugu Bo.
