Heavenly Asura Path(Percy Jackson)

Chapter 5: Heavenly Asura Path 5

Chapter 5: Alchemy doesn't exist?

Getting out of his bed, Percy walked to the bathroom and started to wash up for today. Yesterday was a productive day thanks to Liu Erlong, she ended up buying several spiritual tools and some essence storage tools.

In total, she received about six million gold coins, so it was a great result.

When Percy finished, he went downstairs and started to prepare his breakfast. The bad thing about this planet, was that there was no such thing as television, or similar things, so he couldn't entertain himself by watching the news or anything similar. He could only eat in silence, listening to the noise of the city outside his house or the birds in his garden.

When he finished, he went out to his backyard and started to water the plants. And a curious thing, was that because of the spirituality of the world, common flowers grew faster than usual. In a month, the first ones he planted, had already grown quite a bit.

Unfortunately, the birds would fly away from him every time he went out into the courtyard. Even if his body was reconstructed, passing through Tartarus along with his hatred and resentment caused his presence and aura to be more chaotic and murderous. Percy knew this, and in fact, he didn't know how the old lady from the flower shop wasn't afraid of him. He could understand it from Liu Erlong, being a level 70 Spiritual Emperor. Furthermore, even if she wanted to hide it, she herself was a much more aggressive person than a normal person.

Just by looking at her eyes, Percy could tell that.

Frowning slightly, Percy sat down on the grass and began to train his soul power. Meditating helped him a little, but it also made him return to his time in Tartarus, so despite doing it several times a day, the cultivation time didn't exceed an hour.

After about fifty minutes, Percy inhaled and exhaled heavily before standing up.

"I'm leaving…" she muttered before entering the house and putting on a black shirt with her purple-blue bamboo-patterned robes over her shoulders. However, when she came out, she was surprised to see Liu Erlong waiting.

"Why are you waiting outside my house?"

"Ah!" she was slightly surprised, she had been sitting there watching the people walking down the street, so she didn't pay attention to her surroundings.

"Percy… I was waiting because I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Tell me…", looking with cold eyes, Percy said with a bit of curiosity.

"I wanted to ask you if it's possible to teach others how to make the spiritual tools. I can offer you good pay at my academy!"

Percy immediately shook his head as he walked down the street.

"Impossible. Let's not even talk about my pay as teachers, that can be very easy to fix. But, the materials for the cores of the spirit tools and the rest of them are precious. And even if you can get these materials, I would need all the students to know at least the minimum of blacksmithing."

"Indeed, the first and second batch of spirit tools in my shop are made and complete. But, once I run out of them, I will have to find each metal, refine them to the max, and then craft the cores. After that, I would have to do the same for each part of a spirit tool," Percy spoke calmly, but he didn't stop in his explanation. Each word made Liu Erlong feel a little dispirited.

"However, if you are able to get me the materials, then I will only charge you the cost of creation and assembly."

"Can you give me a discount if I buy multiple tools?" she asked.

"I can do it," Percy nodded. He didn't mind giving a little discount if she bought several tools at the same time.

"But I also want you to patronize my shop in return. I just need more buyers."

"Deal!" Liu Erlong immediately agreed.

Percy nodded once more before stopping and opening the door to his shop.

Liu Erlong immediately walked over and began to once again check out the spiritual tools. Percy simply sat on a lazy chair as he crossed his right leg with his left and swung his foot as he took out a book from his bracelet and began to read.

"Percy, aren't you planning to sell your products at auction?"

"No," he immediately replied and continued, "I'm currently weak considering the powers of the empire and the world at large. If I auction off any of the tools, it would draw unnecessary intent from the sects, the imperial family, and perhaps some hidden people."

Liu Erlong looked at him and hesitated for a moment to ask something, but after a few minutes, he couldn't resist.

"What level are you at and what is your age?"

"..." Percy frowned. He remembered that, in the process of learning, the old man changed the time of the temple they were in, he didn't even know how long he spent learning. But, if he counted his time in Tartarus, then he should be about 319 years old.

But it was too embarrassing and confusing to say that.

"Ah... I'm sorry, I know that's a bit private," Erlong apologized when he didn't hear a reply.

"I'm 19 years old and I'm at the level 31 Spiritual Elder rank."

"Huh?" Looking at Percy in a bit of surprise, Liu Erlong muttered. After all, being a Spiritual Elder at 19 years old wasn't a simple thing. Many of the same age barely reached the rank of Spiritual Grandmaster, so Percy's level could be considered a very good cultivation speed.

"Liu Erlong... do you know of any alchemists in the city?"

"Alchemist? What is an alchemist?"

Percy stared at his book on page five without blinking. What he thought was: Is alchemy something that will only appear in the future as well? The old man taught him several things, but he only knew that spiritual tools should appear 10,000 years later. Now, that wasn't possible, they just appeared in this time.

"Never mind...", letting out a somewhat helpless sigh, Percy shook his head slightly before continuing his reading.

"Hey, I'm curious now."

"Leave it, you'll find out another time."

"Hmph," she just snorted in annoyance before picking up two spiritual tools on the sales table: "I want these two!"

Percy glanced sideways and nodded: "Light Astral Shield and Snake Shadow Sword. A total of 700,000 gold coins."

"Okay," Liu Erlong nodded and took out several bags of coins before placing them on the table.

"We'll see each other another day, Percy."

"..."

Liu Erlong just snorted as she had no answer. She walked out of the shop and placed the spiritual tools into her bracelet. However, she didn't notice someone curiously looking at the tools before Liu Erlong put them away.

The person was being followed by two more.

"Do you know what this shop is?"

"Replying to the prince, this shop is unknown to this servant. The only thing this servant knows, is that the shop only opened about a month ago."

"Mmm...", the person, had blonde hair and was dressed in fine white and gold clothes. Her face was delicate and almost looked like that of a young woman. This was one of the princes of the Heaven Dou Empire, Xue Qinghe.

"Then let's see, I'm curious as to what is capable of drawing Liu Erlong's attention."
