How to raise a Russian Girlfriend!

Chapter 37: Ch. 37 - Kenshin, the new Potential man!

[Aura]

One of Kenshin's underrated skills. Like the name says, it allows him to manifest his aura, and the stronger he is, the stronger his aura becomes.

In this case, as Satoru is stronger than him and has specific skills to shrug the pressure off, Nanami does not. Kenshin is stronger than him and the man can't do anything about the pressure—hence he was forced to kneel.

"Mah…Mah…Relax, will you? You're quite hurting my friend." Satoru smiled and tried to talk him out of it. His sincerity and perhaps, care for Nanami were shown when he stood and stepped away from their personal space.

"I know who you are, Satoru Gojo, and I want to be as far away as possible from you. Sticking close to you tends to be dangerous for people." Kenshin explained while taking back his Aura, freeing Nanami from being pressed to the ground.

"My reputation precedes me, I guess." Satoru simply grinned at his words, not the least offended.

"Alright, since you hate the company of the strongest, then hopefully, you'd find some time to visit…" Finishing his words, Satoru grabbed a piece of tissue and instead of using his pen, Satoru used his extreme manipulation over space and made various holes and lines on the tissue paper, effectively writing off the Tokyo Jujutsu High's address, followed by his number.

"Bye-bye!" After handing the tissue paper to Kenshin, he waved his hands goodbye before disappearing after grabbing Nanami by the collar of his shirt and the pig stray devil.

"…." Now that they're gone, Kenshin turned to Sawako with a slight guilty look.

"I'm sorry about that. I can explain everything." Now that the cat's out of the bag, there's no reason for him to hide it anymore.

'Fuck that Satoru. I wouldn't have to reveal myself if only he made his move in the first place.' Inside his mind, he cursed that white-haired bastard.

Seeing the quiet but eager-to-know look on Sawako's face, he then explained the situation about himself and based on what he knew about the plot of Jujutsu Kaisen.

"S-Something like that exists?" Sawako's face turned into surprise as she started asking questions.

"D-Does that mean the ghosts I used to see at night when I was a child were real?"

"I'm not sure. Most people can't see Cursed Spirits and considering you can't see them right now. Then that means those ghosts are probably not real or something else entirely."

"Then what about that pig man earlier? Is he a Cursed Spirit too?"

"Probably ye-Wait, you can see him?" Seeing her nod her head. Kenshin frowned and stood.

"Where are you going?" Sawako asked and followed suit.

Kenshin didn't answer her and instead, grabbed one of the zombies and peered through their bodies with his magical senses.

As he now has access to all sorts of energies in the universe, not even the Cursed Energy was spared from him to take.

To his surprise, he didn't sense any cursed energy inside the body but an entirely different one.

'This feels stronger than the Cursed Energy. Feels more dangerous and potent.' Kenshin muttered to himself before closing his eyes.

A few seconds in, he raised his hand and a scarlet red orb appeared on top of his palm.

Thanks to his access to the universe's energies, he was able to trace the unknown energy inside the zombie and willed it.

'I was right. It's not a Cursed Energy but stronger.' Kenshin concluded.

'Is it related to that devil, Souji Okita? Lucifer's knight? Although I don't know if he uses the same energy but he should know something about it. After all, he and that pig guy shared the same smell, and didn't Satoru call him a little devil? I was too focused on controlling those zombies attacking earlier that I didn't get to eavesdrop on them properly.' Kenshin shook his head and muttered under his breath.

"Let's go. We'll resume our date elsewhere."

As the place might soon become a scene of the crime, Kenshin decided to wipe the memory of each camera in the place before grabbing Sawako's hand and silently leaving the place.

————

In the end, their date resumed in an aquarium. He decided against going to the cinema lest something similar to their last date happen again.

Although the date has already turned a bit awkward as Kenshin tries his best to make their date memorable.

In the end, the date ultimately failed.

That is until Kenshin found a way to make it entertaining.

Since she already knew about him being able to use magic, what's stopping him from using his magic to entertain?

"Follow me," Kenshin said and dragged her into a nearby alley.

Sawako, surprised by the sudden turn of events, immediately blushed when she realized where they were.

"K-Kenshin-san. A-Aren't we going a bit too fast?" She stuttered.

"Huh? What?" Kenshin stared at her flustered face and immediately understood the misunderstanding.

"Wait! No! That's not why we're here!" Kenshin nervously waved his hand around while trying to explain.

"I just want to show you some magic. Since you know, clearly the date isn't working well for us."

"Oh…"

'Why do you look disappointed?' Kenshin internally screamed in his mind before clearing his throat.

"Say, have you ever experienced what flying feels like?" Kenshin smirked, flaring his aura of mystery.

"Flying? Of course! I remember when me, my mom and my dad flew in an airplane. Though I was just a child back then so I could barely recall that experience." Sawako started narrating her backstory, forgetting the fact that their topic was supposed to be related to magic.

"Sawako wait, Sawako stop." Seeing that she won't be stopping her mouth anytime soon, Kenshin pushed his hand towards her mouth, covering it and effectively stopping her yapping.

"What I meant to say, is have you experienced…flying?" At the end of his words, Sawako suddenly found herself gaining height.

Wait, no. It's more like her feet leaving the ground.

The moment she looked down at the ground, her fear of height immediately kicked in and she started to panic.

"Kyah! I-I'm in the air!"

"Calm down! Relax. Here, I'm with you. I'm here with you, just hold onto me." As much as he wanted to laugh after seeing her reaction to first time flying, he felt bad at the same time.

Eventually, Sawako started to calm down thanks to Kenshin's efforts.

"W-We're flying? W-We're flying!" Sawako's fear-filled expression was slowly replaced by excitement and happiness as the realization finally hit her.

"Say, want to go higher?" Kenshin grinned and albeit hesitant, Sawako was also tempted and nodded her head.

But before they gained altitude, Kenshin cast two invisibility spells on the two of them which will remain for as long as he wants thanks to his Nuclear Magic Fusion Reactor skill effectively giving him an infinite amount of mana.

"Just hold on to my arms. Don't let go." Noticing her expression slowly turning into fear, Kenshin calmed her down, though their ascent wasn't slowing down.

"Just breathe. Keep breathing." Finally, by the time they reached the skies, Sawako had calmed down and started to notice their surroundings.

"So beautiful…" She muttered to herself. Is this what it feels like to fly? To be in the sky with your own body?

"Cool, right? Want to see something cooler?" Seeing the eager look on her face, Kenshin got his answer and grinned.

"Hold on tight!" Now that he can spend as much mana as he wants without worries, Kenshin poured everything into his flight magic.

The next thing that happened caused Sawako to scream at the top of her lungs.

"WAAAHHHH!"

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

On the ground, several people and bystanders heard the loud booming sound in the sky, and when they looked up. They saw nothing but the parted skies.

Meanwhile, Kenshin felt Sawako's grip on his shoulders tighten, her body pushing itself more towards his own.

'For someone with a petite body, she sure packs a mountain.' Kenshin commented after getting a feel of her assets.

'I guess exposing her to magic isn't quite bad at all.' Kenshin silently chuckled to himself.

"You can open your eyes now, Sawako." Kenshin urged her.

Slowly but surely, Sawako opens her eyes and what she sees makes her gasp.

"Is that….Eiffel Tower?" Kenshin nodded his head repeatedly like a pecking chicken with a proud smirk on his face.

"It only took us a minute to get here," Kenshin added in.

"This is amazing." Sawako looked around her and noticed that they were still in the sky.

"What if they saw us? Wouldn't that be trouble?" She worriedly asked.

"No need to worry, in everyone's eyes including the cameras, we're invisible." She sighed in relief hearing that.

"Is this really the Eiffel Tower?" Of course, doubt in her would never disappear.

Could you blame her? She lived her entire life as a normal human, never once exposed to magic or anything supernatural unless you consider her eerily similar appearance to the horror character Sadako as supernatural.

"Is there any place else you want to go to? Maybe the Great Wall of China? Or perhaps the United States of America and their free firearm-I mean Freedom." Kenshin quickly corrected himself.

"…The Mount Fuji…" Sawako embarrassingly said while looking away.

"Huh? Mount Fuji? You've never been to Mount Fuji before?" Kenshin gaped at the revelation.

Sure, some Japanese people haven't been to Mount Fuji before but those are the minority. Even he, before he got into the world of Fantazio, was able to have a short vacation in Mount Fuji.

And he was American.

"…Okay. We'll go there in an instant. Though this time, make sure to not close your eyes or else you'll miss out on the view." Nodding her head, Kenshin took off into the sky, once again, producing the sonic boom sounds.

He can't help it. He just likes the sound of sonic booms.

While Kenshin was taking the pleasure of listening to the sounds he was making, Sawako, on the other hand, was taking in the dizzying sight in front of her.

Due to their speed and her average human sight, she was only able to see blurs of various colors, mixing and turning close into what is known as the kaleidoscope.

Eventually, they arrived at Mount Fuji and seeing the foreigners sweating and breathing heavily as they tried to climb the mountain, Kenshin took the easy route.

He flew directly on top of Mount Fuji, seeing its open mouth with their own eyes.

"Satisfied?" Kenshin smiled upon seeing the glitter in Sawako's eyes.

"It's very awesome!" Sawako nodded her head continuously.

In Kenshin's ears, however, she was repeating the word 'Waku! Waku!' like a certain mind-reading child with an assassin and spy as parents.

"How cute." Kenshin quietly muttered. Making Sawako flustered.

————

"Who was that boy?" Once they got back to Jujutsu High, Nanami finally couldn't hold himself from asking.

"….Someone that Fushiguro-kun just met lately." Satoru raised his head and stared at the sky as he answered.

"Fushiguro? That boy that you said has high potential? Isn't he still in high school? He's not even enrolled in Jujutsu High yet, he's just your student." Nanami furrowed his eyebrows at the familiar name.

"Yup. Though I believe I finally found someone with even more potential than Fushiguro-kun."

"…Still, that boy feels dangerous. That pressure he released earlier. It's on par with a Special-grade cursed spirit. Where and how could someone so young be so strong like that…" Nanami's voice trailed off as he noticed Satoru slapping the unconscious stray devil they had just caught.

"Wakey wakey here comes snakey!"

"Satoru! What are you doing? We're in the middle of Jujutsu High. We can't risk it waking up and causing a ruckus!"

"Relax. It's not like we'll get caught in th-" Before Satoru could finish his words, he was interrupted by the familiar voice of the school's principal.

"Satoru. Nanami. What are you two doing being so loud? And who's this pig?"
