I Am Hades, The supreme GOD of the Underworld!

The Growth of the World Tree.

The power feedback from the growth of the World Tree affected the eight God-Kings of the Underworld.

And— 

The hierarchy among the eight God-Kings is also quite clear.

Actually— 

This distinction is already apparent.

Moirae, Karl, and Keres— 

These three underworld gods, though they have reached the level of God-King through special means, have far too shallow a foundation and background.

In theory alone— 

In the future, as Hades takes one step at a time, perhaps they too might one day reach the level of Ancient God. However, this would truly be a miracle. More likely, they will remain at the peak of the God-King level for the rest of their lives.

In other words— 

This is the situation if Hades has not yet stepped into the level of God-King.

Even though— 

That level is already incredibly terrifying, there remains a fundamental distinction between a God-King and an Ancient God.

Of course— 

For these three underworld gods, although they may be unsatisfied, they will still be content. For them, stepping into this realm was no easy feat.

In a way— 

Reaching this level is something they previously could never have achieved. This is no exaggeration.

After all— 

To this day— 

Without following their Lord Hades, even this level would have been beyond their reach. Reaching this tier is already the limit for them.

This is absolutely undeniable.

Likewise, as the power of the eight God-Kings increased, every underworld god who encountered these opportunities experienced rapid progress, with each deity's power visibly surging.

Among them— 

Several outstanding underworld gods have reached a level of advancement that words can no longer describe.

Hemera, Hypnos, Thanatos, Baal, Baimon, Astaroth, and Asmodeus—

These seven— 

Among the underworld gods, aside from the eight who have already ascended to God-King, possess the most outstanding potential.

In reality— 

Each of the seven has the potential to become a God-King. However, the timing and opportunities were never suitable for them, which is why they did not previously enter the ranks of God-Kings. But now, the situation is completely different. They have this chance and may genuinely step into this realm.

These seven underworld gods are suppressing the surge of power brought by the feedback from the World Tree.

Indeed— 

Given their foundation, with the World Tree's power boost, they could truly ascend to the level of God-King.

But— 

They chose to hold back this immense energy. They weren't in a hurry, or rather, there was no need to be. They kept it stored.

In the future— 

When they genuinely step into the realm of God-Kings, this stored power will allow them to travel further down the God-King path.

It can even— 

Serve as a boost to enhance their own foundation, a crucial factor. For these gods, being mindful of their future potential is essential.

No matter the god— 

Regardless of their loyalty to Hades, each underworld god desires to ascend further.

This— 

Is beyond doubt. All gods strive to elevate themselves, to achieve meaningful progress.

Chief God, God-King, Ancient God…

Who wouldn't want to reach the highest realms? 

Obviously—

Every god, every deity, aspires to this.

Besides— 

This time! 

With the World Tree's growth, every underworld god, whether a child of Erebus and Nyx or one of the 72 Demons, has at least risen to the level of Chief God.

It's terrifying— 

Truly terrifying.

But— 

This is the result of the World Tree feedback that Hades controls in the Underworld.

The reason is simple— 

In a standard mythological world, the power from the World Tree is usually fed back to the world itself rather than the deities.

But— 

For Hades, this power not only bolsters the foundations of the Underworld, but it can also be used to strengthen the underworld gods.

Why? 

Because everything in the Underworld fundamentally corresponds to the Underworld itself. They are, in essence, the Underworld's core. For each underworld god, this is crucial.

In the Underworld, the weakest among the gods has reached the level of Chief God, while the strongest have reached the peak of that level.

This is the current state of the Underworld.

It can be said that even in the Greek pantheon, if you disregard the presence of Ancient Gods, the Underworld could conquer the entire mythological world.

The growth Hades has brought is immense. It's no exaggeration to call it a world-changing difference.

Unknowingly— 

The Underworld has achieved this unparalleled degree of strength. But if you think about it, it's only natural. For an Absolute God, nurturing a World Tree is effortless.

For gods born within the mythological world, Hades is the first to raise a World Tree. And— 

With the World Tree merged with his divine realm, the Underworld has absorbed the essences of the Underworld, Hell, and the Netherworld.

Thus— 

Hades has integrated everything here. None of this is coincidence; it's all part of his deliberate actions. The power unleashed from this convergence is truly terrifying. And this— 

Is Hades' doing.

One could say, without exaggeration, that the rise Hades has brought is world-shattering.

Now— 

With each of Hades' leaps in power, like a series of supernatural boosts, the Underworld has undergone massive transformations.

"…" 

"Hehehe…" 

Erebus chuckled with a touch of nostalgia. "Indeed! Hades has taken that final step. He's truly reached this point. Now! With the World Tree fully developed, the potential of the Underworld, as Hades' divine realm, is beyond imagination!" 

"In a sense, Hades is now akin to an entire mythological world."

"And!" 

Nyx's voice, both solemn and pleasant, added, "This path—no one has ever walked it before. It's completely unimaginable. Yet here it is, right before us, isn't it?"

"Yes!" 

Erebus, full of emotion, continued, "Everything is indeed laid out before us. As long as he follows this path step by step, the future is right in front of us!"

He and Nyx exchanged a look, both gods smiling deeply.

Yes! 

For this Ancient God couple, isn't this exactly what they've pursued?

Indeed! 

Every god wants to ascend, to achieve greater heights. Yet, during this process, none are foolish, each is aware—

Is further ascent really possible?

Each god has thought long and hard about this question.

Among them— 

Erebus and Nyx knew that their future lay far ahead, yet also understood that they had likely reached their limit. They were already Ancient Gods, and the next level, Absolute God, seemed beyond reach.

The likelihood— 

Was next to impossible. The gap is simply insurmountable.

Did they lack the opportunity? 

Not entirely. In essence, they did have it, but practically, they did not. This is no exaggeration—it's a fundamental truth.

Remember—

Their path ahead is almost fully visible. But they are content with today's achievements, serene about it all.

At the very least! 

Whatever may come—

Their child, their invested God-King, is steadily walking this path. As parents, they couldn't be happier.

Meanwhile—

In the Pure Land—

"…" 

An endless stream of divine power surged from Persephone, as if it might tear her apart.

Infinite power from the World Tree poured into her divine form.

"This…" 

Pandora and Eris watched anxiously, unsure of what to say.

After all— 

It was obvious to any observer that this was a blessing for their queen.

But the bigger question was—

What would happen next? No one knew.

They were truly worried.

And what if something went wrong?

"Your Majesty!" 

Just then, Hades' form appeared.

Both women quickly bowed.

Hades extended a hand, calmly saying, "Eris, notify Hemera, Hypnos, Thanatos, Baal, Baimon, Astaroth, Asmodeus—tell them to come."

"Yes!" 

Eris immediately left.

Hades then turned to Pandora and instructed, "Pandora, go immerse yourself in the changes of the demon star and the Underworld; you need to be part of this as well."

"Understood!" 

Pandora also bowed and left.

With both gone, Hades quietly observed Persephone.

Surrounded by the surging power of the World Tree, Persephone's essence and divine strength continued to rise.

"As expected."

Hades watched her with a gentle voice. "In the evolution of the World Tree, if anyone's growth is second only to mine, it's Persephone."

"Yes!" 

"My lord!" 

At that moment, Persephone drew in her power, regaining her composure. Smiling, she said, "I didn't expect this, but now I can finally help you."

She smiled up at her husband.

"Haha…" 

Hades' lips curled into a smile, both of them sharing a quiet moment.

Indeed, it was enough.

For this couple—

Yes! 

Persephone had ascended to a higher tier—the level of an Ancient God.

Once, her power scarcely qualified her as a Chief God. Yet now, she had leapt past Chief God and God-King to reach the level of Ancient God.

The first Ancient God of the Underworld: Queen Persephone!

Her true birth into this realm.

Besides Hades,

 Persephone became the first Ancient God born in the Underworld, and none other was more suited for this role than the Queen.

No underworld god could take this position; only the Queen—Persephone—was fit for it. No one else!
