I Am Raditz

Frieza, the emperor of the universe, had arrived!

He landed silently, without making a sound, yet cracks appeared beneath his feet, spreading in all directions as waves of energy gushed from the ground, cutting through the air in crisscrossing ripples.

The petite Frieza didn't look particularly strong, but when he opened his mouth, everyone's hearts tightened, almost overwhelmed by the urge to fall to their knees. His blood-red eyes gleamed like dangerous jewels, cold light reflecting from them as his expression radiated endless killing intent! This murderous aura enveloped the surrounding area with crushing pressure. Even Raditz felt his hair stand on end, as if he'd been plunged into an ice cave.

Such overwhelming power!

With each step Frieza took, the ground sank slightly, rock layers on both sides collapsing like an avalanche.

"Raditz, you've actually defeated Captain Ginyu. Your combat power has reached a level impossible for a Saiyan—truly surprising." His cold voice cut through the air like a thousand knives, seemingly nailing Raditz to the ground.

The words expressed surprise, but Frieza's expression showed none—only amusement. A half-broken scouter still hung by his ear like a damaged ornament.

Raditz struggled to breathe normally as he looked at Piccolo and Gohan lying unconscious on the ground. His face turned pale, hands trembling involuntarily.

"It seems you still remember how terrifying I am!" Frieza clasped his hands behind his back, his eyes wandering until he spotted the uneasy Jeice and Burter hovering in the air. "Unlike them—they appear to have forgotten."

Slowly, he raised his arm and extended two fingers. The movement was deliberate, but the attack inevitable!

Death Beam!

His two fingers released a straight, slender beam of energy. The purple light wave shot forward like a swift serpent, flying toward Jeice and Burter who were frozen in place.

They hadn't expected Lord Frieza to appear in person. Having just finished eliminating the last wave of soldiers, they were instantly filled with dread. Meeting Frieza's gaze, they realized they'd been manipulated—Raditz had pushed them to a point of no return.

Facing the rapidly approaching death beams, they couldn't dodge and simply awaited death's arrival.

"Look out!"

The light struck their bodies... and passed through!

Frieza was momentarily stunned, only to see Goku flying away with both fighters in his arms, red aura blazing brilliantly around him.

Not only was Frieza surprised—Jeice and Burter were equally shocked. A Saiyan had actually saved them? Impossible! They couldn't understand Goku's actions, finding it simply unbelievable.

Goku set them down on the ground, turned, and said simply, "You can take care of yourselves now." With that, he flew back to help Raditz.

Jeice and Burter stood dumbfounded, speechless...

"That must be your brother Kakarot, Raditz." Suddenly, Frieza turned to Goku and smiled, his lips curling upward. "You two possess such power. It would be a waste for me to kill you like this. What do you say? Consider becoming my subordinates. You could take Captain Ginyu's place."

Frieza's offer was generous. Ginyu had been his most trusted and capable subordinate, his status in Frieza's army second only to a select few. Such a position would make them among the highest-ranking officers.

Raditz shook his head:

"Sorry, but I don't believe you'd ever truly let Saiyans go free. The stronger we become, the more you'll fear us."

"Fear?"

"Isn't that right?"

"Hahaha, you're quite amusing. Me, afraid of Saiyans? Do you believe raising your power to that level would intimidate me?" Frieza's expression darkened suddenly. Without warning, his body began to swell, his short limbs stretching as his muscles expanded significantly. He transformed from a small stature to a tall, powerful figure.

The remaining piece of his broken scouter exploded instantly, shattering into pieces.

Simultaneously, his energy signature doubled!

Yet the transformation wasn't complete. Frieza knew Raditz's current strength exceeded his second form! He continued to roar as his head stretched backward, sharp horns protruding from his shoulders, his body becoming grotesque as he morphed into his hideous third form.

The complex process ended quickly. A burst of dust and smoke swirled around Frieza, revealing the ugly yet powerful being standing before them with a menacing smile.

The pressure intensified, causing the Namekians to collapse to the ground, struggling to breathe as if something were covering their mouths and noses.

Piccolo, who had been knocked unconscious earlier, suddenly awoke, feeling an overwhelming aura like a vast ocean crashing down upon him. He was terrified. Raditz had been right—this was truly a monster!

Fighting now seemed inevitable. Goku moved to Raditz's side, assuming his stance, ready for battle.

"You refuse my invitation... Very well, I'll kill you all." Frieza feigned regret. "Saiyans are such stubborn creatures."

As he spoke, Frieza vanished, reappearing behind Raditz in an instant!

His speed was ghostlike—everything around them fell silent, even the air itself, yet Frieza had already positioned himself behind Raditz with the Dragon Ball now in his possession. He placed the Dragon Ball behind him and glared fiercely at the two Saiyans.

Raditz and Goku were horrified, nearly killed in seconds before they could even activate Kaio-ken.

Against Frieza, there was no room for carelessness!

Raditz immediately released all his energy, activating Kaio-ken x10! The aura whipped his long hair wildly as his entire body was enveloped in a strange red light, like a blooming lotus of rage. Between his brows, the instinctive violence of a Saiyan lurked, though his body remained as still as an open plain beneath a silent sky.

Goku also unleashed Kaio-ken x10, his tremendous fighting power approaching 200,000!

"Listen," Raditz warned, "he can transform into his ultimate form. Once he reaches that state, we won't stand a chance against him together. Our only hope is to suppress him before his final transformation, then seize the opportunity to escape."

"I can feel the energy contained within him," Goku smiled grimly. "I never expected to feel such pressure even with Kaio-ken x10."

Ten times? Raditz thought to himself. Even reaching 300,000 with Kaio-ken x20 would be useless against Frieza's final form.

They exchanged glances and moved almost simultaneously.

Light and shadow stretched behind Raditz as he launched forward at extreme speed. In an instant, he was before Frieza, raising his glowing red fist high before bringing it down with tremendous force.

Just as the blow was about to land, Frieza swiftly countered, catching Raditz's fist in his palm.

Raditz tried to retreat immediately but realized it was too late. Frieza clasped his fingers tightly around Raditz's fist, applying crushing pressure that threatened to shatter his bones.

But suddenly, Frieza was shocked—he couldn't crush it!

Raditz, empowered by Kaio-ken x10, matched Frieza's combat power.

Instead of retreating, Raditz pressed forward. His fists exerted even greater force, causing the ground beneath his feet to sink several meters. The power from his fist drove into Frieza's hand like sharp spines, burning and causing the tyrant pain as if his hand were being roasted.

Behind him, Goku launched a kick aimed directly at Frieza's head.

"Damn you!" Frieza snarled in fury, his tail whipping around to catch Goku's leg as he prepared to counterattack.

Seizing this moment, Raditz yelled, leaning forward to put all his strength into his other fist before launching a devastating blow. Frieza tried to dodge, but it was too late.

The punch connected squarely with Frieza's face!

Frieza released his grip on both Raditz's arm and Goku's leg, flying backward for more than a hundred meters, smashing through several rock formations across the island.

"Now!" Raditz's eyebrows twitched as he immediately unleashed a barrage of energy blasts. Dazzling light erupted like raging lightning, blasting toward Frieza with tremendous power as swirling red flames gathered in his hands. The very earth trembled beneath them!
