In Fairy Tail, starts with a Super Mega Gengar

Chapter 77: Chapter 77: Hades' Wrath, Gaal's Curse

Kyoka nodded, turning around to leave: "I'm on it."

As she was walking out, Mard Geer paused and said: "Remind Franmalth to keep his mouth in check and not to speak recklessly. After all, we are allies, with someone like Hades around, even if Grimoire Heart is exposed, it's no big deal."

Kyoka shrugged, raising her hand as if dismissing the warning: "Got it—"

It was only natural for Mard Geer to give such advice.

They were all demons, often harboring disdain for humans. But one had to know their place.

Try disrespecting Hades...

That old man would surely give you a taste of real magic power...

Meanwhile, at the Grimoire Heart Guild Headquarters, on the Magic Airship, silence hung over the hall.

In front of everyone lay a newspaper page entirely dedicated to their guild members' information.

Even Meredy, who Ultear had rescued and was still a young girl, wasn't spared—the detailed description of her Lost Magic, "Maguilty Sense," was vividly presented.

A little girl with long pink hair clenched her fists, sobbing uncontrollably, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Zancrow, with a face full of disdain, growled at Meredy: "That's the Ultear you admire so much, she didn't even spare your information. You probably didn't know, but it was Ultear who destroyed your town. She destroyed your home and then saved you and yet, you call her 'Lady Ultear' every day. What a joke."

Meredy stubbornly raised her tear-filled face, glaring defiantly at Zancrow: "Impossible! Lady Ultear would never do such a thing, our information must have been obtained by Gaal Brons through some other methods!"

Zancrow sneered: "Huh? Since you joined the guild, you haven't left the Airship, have you? Who else would know your secrets? If it wasn't Ultear, then are you saying it was me?"

Meredy tightened her fists, a Magic Circle lighting up around her hand:

"Shut up!!!"

Zancrow crossed his arms, chuckling disdainfully as he looked at the young girl.

Meredy bit her lip, preparing to strike when Azuma grabbed her raised fist: "Enough, stop it. This matter... It's truly hard to understand."

Azuma couldn't quite explain.

The exposure was too detailed; every member's magical abilities and effects were spelled out explicitly—something unimaginable to anyone not living day-to-day with them.

Stinger was dead, and Rustyrose was dead, leaving only Ultear hiding within the Fairy Tail Guild. Although reluctant, Azuma couldn't deny that Ultear was highly suspect.

Meredy gritted her teeth, muttering defiantly: "Who said it had to be Lady Ultear? Maybe it's those Fairy Tail folks using some malevolent magic. They might have extracted the info from Stinger or Rustyrose's soul. That Gaal Brons does know a lot of magic, including Curse Magic. Using Soul Magic wouldn't be too far-fetched, right? Either way, it's definitely not Lady Ultear!"

Hearing about Curse Magic, Zancrow shuddered involuntarily.

Flustered, he barked back at Meredy in frustration: "Then why don't you go report it to the Magic Council? If that guy really mastered Soul Magic, they wouldn't need us to handle Gaal Brons. Seriously, Ultear doesn't even want you anymore, and yet you still defend her. If you ask me...."

Azuma's face darkened: "Zancrow! Quiet down!"

Stepping between them, Azuma forcibly separated the pair.

Zancrow clicked his tongue, turning away in annoyance.

Meanwhile, Meredy, though turning away stubbornly, struggled internally, unwilling to believe in Ultear's betrayal.

Azuma then looked at Hades sitting silently with a sullen face: "Master Hades...."

Hades glanced around as everyone immediately lowered their heads, his emotionless voice resonating: "Nevermind the source of the information for now, focus on developing some new techniques, especially you, Kain. Your previous performance was unsatisfactory."

Kain shuddered, nodding hastily: "Yes, Master Hades. I've been working on improving the dolls recently. There won't be a repeat of last time!"

He had been thoroughly humiliated by Gaal's ghostly creature last time.

Hearing Hades bring it up, Kain was evidently unnerved, quickly admitting his mistake and pledging to do better.

Hades nodded, scanning over the group before saying: "I've contacted Tartaros. They'll send someone over; Azuma, Zancrow, and you, bring the space-locking trap. Intercept Gaal...."

Before he could finish, Hades' eyes widened, Dark Magic power surging violently, shattering tables and chairs. The back door exploded as if made of paper.

A blood-red sword shot forward, aimed directly at Zancrow. Despite the swirling Dark Magic, the blood-light moved swiftly, entering Zancrow's body. Hades instinctively tried to seize the light with his magic, but it was already too late....

The next moment, a terrible scream pierced the air, Meredy paled, falling back in horror, while the others were equally terrified. Convulsing on the ground, Zancrow screamed: "Arghhhhh! Kill me! Just kill me already ahhhhhhhh—!!!"

A surge of Dark Magic struck Zancrow's mind, causing immediate unconsciousness, though his body continued to twitch, revealing his dire state.

Kain Hikaru's face whitened, swallowing hard, looking fearfully at the unconscious Zancrow.

The situation was identical to when Gaal Brons's curse struck before.

Damn it....

Who exactly is the Dark Mage here?! This is far too insidious!

Could it be blood left from the last battle, still kept by him?!
