Frost King’s path: The Frost King’s path is dedicated to harnessing the frigid powers of ice, allowing you to become a master of ice magic and control it freely. As you progress along this path, you’ll unlock various abilities that grant you command over ice and frost in battle. (Intelligence + 40 per level.)

Level 1: Ice Throne – You can harness the power of the northern winds. All of your ice related abilities gain five percent more experience when using them, the cause five percent more damage and then cost ten points less mana per level.

Rain immediately equipped that path and the Ice Throne, he equipped the other skills of the Frost Sorcerer’s path on the support slots and then resumed his actions. He immediately noticed the difference… the strain on his mind was a lot weaker than before and the warriors were a bit faster as well.

In no time, half of the golems had been decimated and when they tried to free themselves from the trap that they put themselves in, a good chunk of them was stopped by the warriors in front of them… the difference in numbers had already turned to the human size, so they were being exterminated.

Still, things didn’t go the way Rain had explained… when he was trying to increase the pace again, Rain heard a sound in the distance, and then he saw the draco soldiers approaching… even before they could get in range, they opened their mouths and began to use Fire Breath.

"They still can use that…" Rain said and then clicked his tongue.

Rain stopped controlling his warriors, and then they frowned when they landed… Still, they eventually saw the Draco soldiers approaching, and then Rain fired some Ice Spears toward them. Although they were only five hundred meters away, and his projectiles could cross that distance in half a second, the enemies still spread around and dodged them.

The draco soldiers kept using Fire Breath and then tried to approach the army again, but Rain kept them at bay… but he couldn’t do that for long…

"Rain! It is time to bail!" Jori shouted.

Rain knew that… but the draco soldiers would cause a bunch of casualties even before the warriors could turn around to run. At that moment, Rain recalled that Jori and Reca were the first guys that he controlled like that, covering their arms and boots in earth magic when they were on the beast people’s territory.

"I will need you guys help for that," Rain said and then covered their boots in ice again.

"I have a bad feeling about this… I have bad memories too," Reca said.

"Retreat! Total retreat!" Jori shouted as Rain made them fly using the boots. "Shit, here we go again."

The draco soldiers slowed down when they saw Jori and Reca flying, but soon they found the reason for it. It was impossible for them to fly as fast as them even with Rain’s help. They were wrong…

Rain suddenly made those split and move to different sides toward the enemies. Rain still could see their expressions of shock in the confusion of his friends when they Suddenly began to move like that in the air… but soon they recovered when the enemies used Fire Breath on them. They prepared to swing their weapons, but Rain suddenly changed their directions and made them dodge the flames.

"My back…" Jori said while groaning.

Rain was able to hear that… and he felt a bit bad, he wasn’t holding back, after all, so he had to be careful. Maybe things will be more comfortable for them if Rain covers them in ice armor.

The draco soldiers split up as well and tried to surround Jori and Reca while flying toward the warriors of the raging Phoenix, but Rain made them chase the former group.

The draco warriors began to zigzag in the air to get rid of them, but they followed the shortest path available and soon reached them. At the same time, most of the warriors had already started to run away.

When Jori reached his first target, he swung down his sword with all his might, but the enemy actually blocked the attack with both arms… the blade pierced the skin deeply and blood began to fall, but the enemy also kicked Jori at the same time.

"Their defense… is a lot higher than yesterday," Rain furrowed his eyebrows.

Reca on the other hand tried to stab another enemy with a rain of thrusts, but the enemy was actually able to block the spear with his hands… some blood was flowing from the wounds, but it was a minimal amount. The enemy flew toward her and tried to grab her neck, but Reca blocked it and began to be pushed backward.

In the next moment, several draco soldiers surrounded her and then used Fire Breath. The flames engulfed Reca and when Jori saw that, he opened his eyes widely, but then he suddenly saw Reca leaving the flames and impaling the throat of one of the enemies… she was covered in ice armor, so she escaped the flames.

When Jori looked at Rain, he saw him drinking a potion… he sighed in relief since for a moment, he thought that Rain valued a potion more than their lives.

The Frost King path leveled up.

Level 5: Frozen Blade Shape ice into a sword, a potent weapon with chilling properties that can freeze your enemies on contact. It deals 1% extra damage using your intelligence as basis per level. Cost: 500 mana.

"Hmm, this might not be so bad…" Rain thought. "Anyway, considering the experience that I just gained, it confirms it… they are stronger than before."

Since Rain went out to use one of the highest types of potion, he might as well use all of his mana… to capture one of the draco soldiers alive.
