Is It Wrong to Abusing Cartoon Tropes in Dungeon?

Chapter 195: CA [195]: Thunderous Ascent

Sinner's Elegy referred to the Raiden Mei's Herrscher of Thunder abilities.

Commanding lightning, Kirari could achieve unparalleled speed through electrical acceleration, while the intensity of her lightning would vastly amplify her attack power. Unlike wind magic, which sharpened and agileized blades, lightning maximized destructive force. Speed was power!

Of course, Kirari needed a weapon up to the task. Her Kirisame was already high-quality, but it wasn't suited for piercing armor. For that, Altair could craft disposable alternatives.

For instance, daggers made of ultra-strong alloy. No need for coins, replacing the Railgun's ammo with daggers would suffice.

This would significantly boost Kirari's attack power.

As a swordsmanship enthusiast who thrived in close combat, Kirari could wield the giant samurai sword of her transformed state to engage massive monsters directly.

However, Altair's enhancements weren't conjured from thin air. Bert's Wolf Breathing and Werewolf Six Forms worked because his body could handle the strain. Ais's Windblade Swordsmanship built on her existing wind magic. Tiona's Tempest Swordsmanship aligned with her aggressive, all-in fighting style.

In the Kabaneri world, Altair had tested his limits through samurai duels. He couldn't create matter from nothing, only destroy, like snapping a samurai's blade or causing a sprained ankle.

Thus, he couldn't manifest a Herrscher Core, nor was such a core easily controlled.

Kirari's enhancement required a different approach.

Previously limited by resources and funds, Altair now had wealth and influence, enabling him to craft advanced gear.

After familiarizing Kayo and Tina with the Dungeon and helping Kirari grind enough experience on Floor 51 to reach Level 3, Altair led the trio back to the surface and began forging their equipment.

First, Kayo. As a skirmisher, she received lightweight armor to protect joints and weak points, plus Altair's old Magic Stone Rifle. Lacking sufficient magic, a magic-triggered rifle was unsuitable for now.

For safety, Altair crafted her a Magic Stone Gauntlet for her left hand. Disguised as a small shield, it could deploy a magic barrier to block physical and magical attacks, with a full-power mode that enveloped her in a spherical shield. As a skirmisher engaging at mid-to-close range, this was essential.

For Tina, Altair provided a large-caliber Magic Stone Sniper Rifle and sixteen floating units. Snipers often neglected their surroundings, so he equipped her with Floating Shields and Cannons. Stored in her backpack's core Magic Stone for charging, these units deployed in combat, eight shields in different directions for defense, and eight cannons for coordinated counterattacks or, on Tina's command, proactive strikes.

After a set duration, the units returned to the backpack to recharge.

Additionally, both litle girls received Magic Stone High-Explosive Grenades, Magic Stone Pistols, and Magic Stone-driven High-Frequency Vibrating Daggers.

Fully equipped, the litle girls resembled special forces operatives, litle girl commandos, a striking image. Their medieval-style light armor gave off an ironclad military vibe to modern eyes.

To manage their gear, Altair crafted spatial equipment. His own infinite Spatial Pocket could, in theory, hold even Babel Tower, but there was no need. Creating Spatial Pockets for the litle girls was trickier, requiring advanced materials to withstand spatial stress.

With his current resources, Altair made each litle girl a Spatial Bracelet with a 3x3x3-meter, 27-cubic-meter capacity, ample for their weapons.

For Kirari, Altair drew inspiration from the Herrscher of Thunder's massive arms, crafting Super Alloy Arms and two oversized cleavers, one five meters, the other ten, larger than the Herrscher's. He poured all remaining Crown Ore into the blades to conduct magic, enabling them to unleash Crescent Moon Slashes.

The arms incorporated a Giant Mode mechanism from Mr. Cannon Dragon, powered by an efficient energy system.

Since Kirari wasn't a magic-heavy mage and lacked Altair's potent curse power, she relied on Magic Stones to drive the arms.

To accommodate this, Altair crafted a 2x2x10-meter, 40-cubic-meter Spatial Bracelet, using his finest materials.

Picture it: Kirari, delicate with only Kirisame in hand, suddenly transforms, summoning massive arms and wielding five- and ten-meter cleavers. The visual impact would be staggering!

To ensure mobility, Altair equipped her with an anti-gravity device, allowing lightning-powered aerial dashes. Ground-only movement with such bulk would be impractical.

The litle girls weren't left out. Though lacking lightning magic, they received Magic Stone-driven anti-gravity devices for low-altitude flight, capped at 100 meters, sufficient for the Danmachi world.

With preparations complete, all that remained was for Kirari to reach Level 3 and awaken her lightning magic.
