Chapter 75: Vampires Vs Lycans Part 1
***********************
Next Day, Evening: Train Station
Lucian, the leader of the Lycans, was inside the backseat of a car with Kraven beside him. In front of them were Soren and Raze, as they heard the incoming train. The air was thick with anticipation; the sound of the approaching train was the signal for the start of their risky mission.
"Do not fail me," Lucian said, his gaze fixed on Raze. Raze glanced in the rearview mirror, a curt nod acknowledging Lucian's command before exiting the vehicle.
"Give them support if our allies need it, Soren," Kraven said, a predatory grin twisting his lips. Soren nodded, his eyes flicking between Kraven and Lucian before following Raze.
Lucian showed no emotion on his face, watching Kraven ordering his men to follow Raze. He knew for sure that Kraven already had doubts about their plans, and stopping them would just confirm those suspicions.
Kraven looked at Lucian to his side with narrowed eyes. "Let's see, what are you trying to do?" Kraven was confident he would be able to figure out Lucian and the Lycans' goals. He was a cunning player, always seeking to gain an advantage.
The train roared into the station, its arrival a signal for the Lycans to begin their attack. Lucian had a plan, a plan to get stronger, a plan to dominate the vampires.
And tonight, they were taking the first step.

Train
Different from the movie, there were only two vampires inside the train. Amelia was seen sitting on a sofa, swirling a wine glass filled with artificial blood in her hand, looking at the person beside her, who was dressed in a white fur coat, underneath which was a silver breastplate, and a long white dress.
"Do you really believe your vision?" Amelia asked skeptically. She didn't fully trust the visions of a seer, even though she had long been accustomed to Lena's uniqueness.
"Yes," Lena answered without doubt, her eyes closed as her fingers caressed the middle part of her chest, feeling the metal of the silver breastplate. She remembers what she had seen.
"You will believe it as well, when you see the Ördögház ruins," Lena whispered jokingly with a smile, opening one of her eyes to look at Amelia. She wasn't afraid of Amelia being an Elder vampire, as Amelia was like an aunt to her. Lena was, in some ways, stronger than Amelia because of the sacred rituals.
"We'll see," Amelia said sarcastically, taking a sip from the glass. She found it hard to believe Marcus and Viktor could be killed by a single person from Lena's vision. It seemed impossible to her.
As the train neared the station, Lena's eyes snapped open, turning towards the direction of the station.
"They are here," she whispered before standing up and walking towards their room with calm strides. She knew exactly what to expect.
Amelia frowned, as she looked towards the train station direction. She pulled down the wine glass on her lips, holding it to her side, as her eyes narrowed, focusing her senses towards the train station. She knew Kraven's men were supposed to be waiting for their arrival, as Kraven was the regent of the old world coven.
The train stopped as Amelia felt something rushing towards the train. Then, a bullet passed through the glass of the train. The glass was destroyed, its fragments flying inside the train.
Amelia looked at the bullet. It was way too slow for her. After all, even though she only worked as a diplomat for the vampires in the present times, she was an elder, one of the oldest vampires. And unlike Viktor and Marcus, she had fully recovered her strength long ago.
Amelia raised her wine glass towards the bullet, allowing it to shatter the glass and scatter its contents. Amelia's eyes narrowed, seeing the purple liquid inside of the bullet. She knew it could threaten her, she was surprised but because of the bullet speed she didn't took it seriously.
"Hmm," Amelia breathed as more bullets rained down, tearing through the train's interior.
"Looks like you've forgotten your place, Kraven," she whispered, fully aware of his betrayal.
As she stood up, for her sight, the bullets were flying towards her with slow speed in the air. Walking calmly to Lena, who got out of the room, holding two swords.
When Amelia stopped in front of Lena, the bullets like a flashforward destroy the surrounding interior of the train.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Amelia frowned at Lena, suspecting she knew the bullets were coming.
"It's not like they're going to hit you," Lena replied softly with a smile, offering one of the swords to Amelia.
Amelia sighed, accepting the weapon. "You should have told me. They might have ruined my dress," she muttered with disdain.
The bullets ceased as the train began to shake.
Lena looked around with a raised brow, unconcerned, before turning to Amelia. "Need my help?" she offered, though they both knew Amelia wouldn't need it.
"No need. Sometimes, you need to put people in their place yourself, so they know their limits," Amelia then looked at the Lycans who got in from the windows. Some destroyed the roof.
"RAWWRRRR!" The Lycans roared towards Amelia, as they were about to charge towards her. Amelia took a step forward, then the Lycans' eyes widened as they only saw Amelia's afterimage passing them all, before stopping behind them.
Then, one of the Lycans tried to turn around to look at her. He saw Amelia's sword, covered with blood. The Lycans were surprised, but they were not deterred.
They were fearless in their pursuit of goal.
"Don't think because you Lycans got stronger over the years passed by, you can take on an elder," Amelia said with a cold face, turning around as all the Lycans got slit on their throats, as they bled.
Her voice was calm, but her eyes were filled with icy fury.
The Lycans' eyes widened in surprise as they stopped their movements, trying to regenerate their throats. That was the vital part, even for them. Yet, in that moment, it was enough time for Amelia to take action.
Amelia seized the opportunity, she rushed towards one of the Lycans, slashing her sword upwards, cutting off its head with one stroke, before looking towards the left, while the Lycan reacted, seeing his brethren getting killed.
The Lycan waved his claw towards Amelia, but unlike in the movies, Amelia wasn't fazed that Lycan's strength was nothing in front of her. She just blocked the claw with her left hand, looking at the Lycan with disdain before waving her sword in her right hand, cutting off the Lycan's head.
Amelia then noticed the remaining Lycan on the roof retreating. She knew she had to get out, otherwise, she and Lena would be just sitting ducks, ready to be killed. Despite her strength, the train's small space was a disadvantage. Her eyes narrowed, walking towards the hole on the roof.
Amelia had many experiences she knew the possibilities they could face when they stayed inside, from bullets to fire, even rockets.
Amelia jumped out of the train onto the roof. The Lycans were already expecting her, as two Lycans waved their claws towards her.
Amelia didn't panic as she cut off one of the Lycan's claws before kicking the claw of the other Lycan, using it as a springboard, spinning before cutting off the Lycan's head.
In mid-air, Amelia heard a gunshot and saw Soren aiming two pistols at her. Her eyes turned cold.
Amelia spun in the air as she fell, wielding her sword to dodge and deflect the bullets. Some were sliced in half, the irradiated ultraviolet fluid inside the bullets splattering across the train's roof.
When Amelia landed, Soren didn't stop shooting towards her, while the Lycan with a cut-off claw roared as he charged towards Amelia.
Amelia waved the sword in her hand, cutting all of the bullets in half. When the sword cut off the last bullet, the irradiated fluid splashed on her cheeks, before her skin began to sizzle and burn.
Then, Amelia caught the Lycan on the throat with her hand. She turned around and looked at Soren, before she snapped the Lycan's neck and threw the Lycan body off the train as her cheeks recovered with her fast regeneration.
"I know Kraven craves power and authority, but to think he was foolish enough to ally with the Lycans and create bullets against his own kind," Amelia said with disdain and disgust, eyeing Soren, aware of his allegiance to Kraven since becoming regent. Her voice was laced with disappointment, she was in control of her emotions but her anger simmered beneath.
Soren didn't speak as he used his fast speed to change the pistols magazine, before aiming at Amelia again. But the slight shaking in his hand was a sign of his unease.
After all, the vampires were not the ones who created the bullet. They only got it from the Lycans. And with Kahn dead, the vampires couldn't copy the bullets into silver nitrate bullets against the Lycans.
"Maybe I am foolish, but unlike you Elders, I'll survive," Kraven said, closing the door as he and Lucian stepped out of the car.
Amelia's eyes narrowed, taking a look at Lucian before turning her attention back to Kraven. She wasn't surprised when she saw Lucian alive. She was one of those vampires who didn't believe Kraven killed Lucian, if it weren't for the skin he brought back from the mission. With Kraven now cooperating with the Lycans, Amelia had anticipated seeing Lucian again. The most pressing concern for her was Kraven's words.
"Did you kill them both?" she asked coldly, more inclined to believe that Kraven had betrayed Viktor and Marcus to seize control of the old world coven with the Lycans' help than Lena's vision of the coven's destruction.
"Oh, how much I wished, I had done that," Kraven asked grimly, shaking his head before raising his hands, making Amelia look around and finally seeing the other vampires besides Soren, who were holding their guns aiming at her.
Amelia's eyes flashed with complex emotions. She didn't take the guns seriously, but Kraven's words hinted that Lena's vision might hold some truth.
Lucian saw how Amelia didn't take them seriously. He knew vampires well enough, that elders could dodge the bullets with ease. But he was already prepared to deal with Amelia with all they got. He looked towards the Lycans by his side, nodding towards them.
One of the Lycans grinned, seeing this. He reached inside a nearby car, pulling out a heavy RPG from a suitcase. He hefted the launcher onto his shoulder, the weighty weapon settling into his leather jacket. He brought the launcher up, lining up his target with the train. His finger tightened on the trigger, ready to unleash chaos.
*Swish!*
The Lycan's eyes widened in disbelief as a blur of silver shot out from the train, so fast that the Lycan didn't have time to react. A sudden pain tore through his chest as he felt the searing heat of the blade.
"Argh!" The Lycan looked down at his chest.
The world seemed to slow down as he stared at the gleaming sword, now embedded in his chest, its tip piercing through his back.
His grin morphed into a mask of horror and pain, a gasp escaping his lips. His body shuddered in shock, his muscles convulsing as he struggled to comprehend what had just happened.
A gurgling cough tore from his throat, and he tasted the metallic taste of blood in his mouth. He spat out blood onto the ground.
He stumbled backward, his grip on the RPG loosening as blood seeped out from his lips. His eyes, wide with terror, darted around, trying to make sense of the sudden, searing pain that had ripped through him. He raised his head towards the train and saw inside the fleeting silhouette of a woman with white hair and blue eyes.
His fingers, clutched tightly around the trigger, squeezed involuntarily as his body fell back. The RPG roared to life, hurtling towards the roof of the train station.
Lucian and Kraven's eyes widened in shock as they hurried out of the train station, joined by the other vampires and Lycans, moving to the other side of the train tracks. Meanwhile, Lena jumped onto the roof of the train from the hole, striding toward Amelia.
*BOOM!*
The roof exploded, a deafening roar that seemed to shake the very foundations of the train station. Chunks of concrete, steel beams, and shattered glass rained down, creating a chaotic symphony of destruction. The roof of the train station buckled, then caved in, crushing the platforms below. A thick cloud of dust and smoke billowed up, obscuring everyone's vision, swallowing the station in a choking haze.
"Did you see this happening in your vision as well?" Amelia asked, raising an eyebrow as she lowered her sword.
Lena simply smiled before her eyes glowed blue, and she sped into the smoke, becoming a blur of motion as she vanished into the swirling chaos.
"This girl," Amelia muttered, shaking her head before turning toward the front of the train, sensing someone jumping onto the train's roof.
"Looks like I have to do this myself,"
Amelia heard Lucian's voice coming from in front of her. She heard the rustling of clothes, knowing it was Lucian preparing to transform. As the dust and smoke began to clear, a Lycan unlike the others emerged before Amelia, crouching and roaring to announce its presence.
"RAWWWRRR!"
