Konoha Ninja Shop System

Chapter 76: Chapter 76: How Can the Chairman Drink Plain Water?

At the border of the Fire Nation, inside a quiet little shop.

"Uhhhhhhh…"

Peter stretched his limbs lazily and muttered, "I'm so bored. Business has been terrible lately. I haven't even opened the shop for the past two days."

"Host, please be patient," the system chimed in. "I have a strong feeling we'll get some business today."

Peter curled his lips. "You dare say that? If you hadn't messed up the GPS positioning, would this shop even be in such a remote place?"

System: "..."

"Forget it. Let's keep watching Hokage Ninja." With a sigh, Peter opened his laptop and resumed the anime.

"My great and filial son, Uchiha Itachi! Bring your sickle, wear your mask, follow Obito, and head home to..."

Peter couldn't understand Uchiha Itachi's logic. As soon as Shisui died, Itachi joined forces with Obito and wiped out his entire clan, sparing only one—Sasuke. Witnessing his family's slaughter, Sasuke awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan in a rage…

"I wonder where the plot is now. Has Naruto reached the Jōnin level?" Peter murmured.

Just then, a familiar voice rang from outside the door.

"Boss~"

Peter raised an eyebrow, surprised. That devilish voice—Ah Fei?

He was genuinely taken aback. The system had actually guessed correctly. Business really had come to him today!

Quickly standing up, Peter walked over to the door. Seeing Ah Fei standing outside, he grinned warmly. "Well, if it isn't Ah Fei! It's been days—I've missed you!"

"Yes, boss! We haven't seen each other for several days!" Ah Fei replied, smiling beneath his mask.

"Come in, come in!" Peter invited him inside with enthusiasm.

Once inside, Peter gestured for Ah Fei to take a seat. He grabbed a cup from the table and poured him some water.

Ah Fei was one of Peter's most valuable customers—the current record holder for the highest single purchase. It made perfect sense that Peter would be extra hospitable.

Ah Fei seemed a little flattered and carefully took the cup. "Thank you, boss!"

He didn't expect the mysterious store owner to be so friendly. This was so much better than his own boss, Black Zetsu.

What Ah Fei didn't realize was that to Peter, customers were gods. As long as someone spent money in his store, he would treat them with utmost respect.

"You're welcome, really," Peter said with a laugh. "So, Ah Fei, what have you been doing lately? Any good money-making ventures?"

"Boss, Lord Black Zetsu started a company in the ninja world. I'm now the second-in-command there, and I've got thousands of White Zetsu brothers working under me..." Ah Fei explained proudly.

What he didn't mention was that he had recently been caught evading taxes, deceiving his superiors, and embezzling company funds. After Black Zetsu found out, Ah Fei was stripped of his position and kicked out of the upper management.

It was too embarrassing to admit, and he was sure Peter would laugh at him if he knew the truth.

Peter's eyes widened. Black Zetsu had established a company in the ninja world? That meant one thing—money must be pouring in.

Peter was impressed. Black Zetsu really lived up to his thousand-year legacy. Making money was probably child's play to him. Peter could easily imagine him earning tens of billions and reviving Kaguya in just a few short years.

But what shocked Peter even more was that Ah Fei was supposedly the second-in-command!

He remembered how Ah Fei had once embezzled more than two billion from Black Zetsu. Yet, Black Zetsu still entrusted him with such a high-ranking role? Clearly, the last lesson hadn't been harsh enough. If Ah Fei got another chance, he'd probably embezzle even more.

In reality, Black Zetsu had already begun to wise up. During a recent audit, he found discrepancies in the company's financial reports. Tens of millions were missing. Enraged, Black Zetsu ordered an investigation, which eventually traced the theft back to—of course—Ah Fei.

Black Zetsu was so furious that he personally kicked Ah Fei out and ordered him to pack up and leave on the spot.

Naive as ever, Ah Fei thought he was just being "sent to the grassroots to experience life." He had no idea that he'd be stuck at that level for the rest of his career—unless a miracle occurred.

Now, you might ask—since Ah Fei loves poop so much, why didn't Black Zetsu just assign him to a manure-pit job?

Well, funny story. Black Zetsu actually considered it. But he remembered Ah Fei's special obsession with feces and feared that Ah Fei would happily jump into a dung pit and never come out, giggling in delight.

So, in the end, he assigned Ah Fei to sell newspapers.

What Black Zetsu didn't expect was that this move would inadvertently lead Ah Fei into the world of middlemen. Through a series of strange coincidences, Ah Fei rose to become the biggest middleman in the ninja world and nearly became its wealthiest man.

But that's a story for another time.

Ah Fei had traveled a long way—from the capital of the Fire Nation to its border. The journey had left him parched. He was just about to drink the water Peter poured when—

"Wait a second!" Peter cried, abruptly snatching the cup from his hand and pouring the water out.

Ah Fei blinked in confusion. "???"

What just happened? He hadn't even taken a sip—why did the boss throw it away?

Before Ah Fei could ask, Peter brought out a tin of tea leaves and began brewing tea with practiced elegance.

"How can a chairman drink plain water?" Peter said seriously. "Come on, Ah Fei, try a local specialty from my hometown—Tieguanyin."

He carefully handed the steaming cup to Ah Fei with a warm smile.

Ah Fei accepted the teacup, blew on it gently, and took a sip. A rich and refreshing aroma filled his mouth, and his whole body felt revitalized. The exhaustion from his journey seemed to melt away in an instant.

His eyes sparkled. "Wow, this tastes amazing!"

For a brief moment, it felt like he was standing in a serene tea garden, surrounded by nature.

"Haha, if Boss Ah Fei likes it, I'll give you a few tins to take back," Peter said generously.

After all, Ah Fei was a top-level executive—at least on paper. His value was bound to grow. Peter was smart enough to plant seeds now and hope for more sales in the future.

Then, seeing the time was right, Peter got down to business. "So, Boss Ah Fei, what are you looking to buy this time?"

Ah Fei scratched his head, hesitant.

Peter didn't rush him. He took a calm sip from his teacup.

Finally, Ah Fei blurted out, "Boss, do you have anything that can help a man… regain his virility?"

Pffft!

Peter choked on his tea.

It took him a long moment to recover. He stared at Ah Fei in disbelief.

Wait a minute… White Zetsu clones have that functionality?

That doesn't make sense. The anime never mentioned this.

Could it be that during one of the body modification sessions, someone added certain... upgrades?

Peter's eyes slowly drifted downward, his gaze unconsciously shifting toward Ah Fei's lower half…
