Limitless The Strongest Revenant

Chapter 918: Prove to me [1/2]

"Okay, then as of today, I subordinate the entire Soldat clan to Hells Eden. I will grant you all that you need in exchange for your loyalty and service."

The four at my side flinched but soon recovered. I knew they had questions, but this step was instrumental. Just as McDonald's spread worldwide, geography matters in any effort.

And now that I have established that I needed to reinforce not just my own domain, I needed soldiers. Those unafraid of suffering. Those who were willing to get the job done. Using Africa as my guinea pig, I will now raise an army, a Reaper army, to do my will.

"Thank you so much, Successor. I will do my best to ..."

"No," I objected with a strong tone.

Zanele looked at me in surprise at my sudden outburst. Not intending to delay any longer, I continued.

"You will do what is required, or you will die trying. There is no other alternative. Not for you at least."

A figure suddenly jumped up at my declaration.

"LIMITLESS!"

"Choco! Calm down, it's Limitless; let's hear him out."

"Sit down, my son! This is my decision, not yours!" the matriarch snapped.

"But mother!"

Mia had to throw herself at her lover to force him to pause. Amari's reaction was expected. If someone told Noelle to die while I was around, I would shoot him on the spot. But I couldn't worry about Amari's pride and ego right now.

"Zanele, the things we discussed led to one thing. To ensure I can focus on Hellsgate, I need to secure the Earth. And unlike before, I no longer wish to stand idly by. I will raise an army on every continent, starting with yours."

The woman before me did not reply to my words. Instead, she realized my hidden meaning.

"I see. Then rather than for invasion, this army's only purpose is to kill demons. And unless I can prove that I am capable enough to lead it, you will pass the role to someone else."

I nodded at her analysis. Zanele wished for enough power to protect both her lover and her people. But she cannot remain the same if she truly wishes for change. She must reforge herself into what is needed, not only what she believes to be her best.

It was a leap in logic that created vision. No matter how one tried to fly, you could not do so by jumping. Even if you trained for millions of years, you would not succeed. Lack of effort was not the issue. Rather, it was the know-how to realize your goal and a willingness to do so.

"Correct. So, while I would like for you to be that person. It will not be handed to you just because. You will prove to me just how much you want this power. And in doing so, you will gain the tenacity needed to fulfill my will."

"I understand, Successor. From here on out, you and the Sirens will be my lord and master. And as long as you do not ask me to kill those I love, I will follow you to the letter."

"Okay, then for now direct me to where the prince is. And I will tell you about my plan moving forward."

"I understand. Please follow me; I will lead you to him."

Zanele then stood up and moved to the inner partition. Amari and Mia similarly followed. A bunch of girls then began to show up along our path. I only then remembered that there were other people in this large hut.

Along with the prince and the elders, there were also the women from earlier. Funnily enough, I forgot about them as I found them too weak to pay attention to. The matriarch gave them some instructions, and they left immediately.

To focus on the matter at hand, I asked Zanele, "Should I worry that they heard our entire conversation?"

"No Successor. These women are my adopted children. They were meant to serve Amari as his harem, but only became my maids. They might be weak, but they are all loyal to me; I can wholeheartedly vouch for them."

"I see. Then they will serve as your bodyguards."

"Huh? Do you intend to include them as well? But none of them are warriors," Zanele exclaimed in surprise.

"I would argue that you are the same. Hell's Eden and my army Hellsend do not discriminate. Man, woman, child—it makes no difference. Anyone who has the will, I will give the strength to not only defend themselves but also to protect those they love."

"An admirable sentiment, but not everyone here has the mentality of a warrior."

"You will be surprised at how quickly people can change. Don't worry. Once I'm done, the Soldat clan will be the most feared group in Africa," I declared confidently.

Meanwhile, the girls behind me all began teasing Amari's lover.

"Oy cunt, you welcomed your new sisters yet? Seems like your wombat is lucky. The cunt has a harem of Sheilas raised to ride his meat stick by his own momma."

"What? Of course not! Amari is monogamous; he loves me and only me!" Mia snapped.

"Eh… are you sure? I saw them stealing glances at Amari. And compared to you, they were curvier. You sure you aren't just scared? Most men are like, Darling."

"Listen, Judy. Not everyone is like you and the Sirens, okay? And not every man is like your {Kindred} who runs on pure libido! Besides, Amari and I frequently spend time together on dates. We take long walks in the evening and all that."

"But you two are celibate, right? If you take too long, Amari might tire of you and bang a side chick. At least Honey was open about it. I do not have to worry about some kid showing up claiming to be his."

Mia then turned to Amari with eyes that seemed to glow red, "…Choco… we need to talk."

"What? Why? I didn't even say anything! The Sirens are all slandering me, Fluffy!"

"Amari-san, that is the problem. Lust is a facet of relationships that is nothing to be ashamed of. If you have urges and wish to be safe, have Mia take care of it using her hands, mouth, feet, or maybe her behind. Doing so allows you to share a deeper connection."

"Aki! What the hell are you saying? Stop! Choco and I will get to that when we get married!"

"Has he even proposed to you yet, Mia? You are so certain but hold no tangible proof. Do you even have a ring? Or maybe beads like Zanele does?" Bella asked a bit mischievously.

"I-I… I don't know. Choco! Why aren't you saying anything?!"

"I-I uhm… Fluffy, I do love you very much, but the timing…"

"But you won't marry me? Why?!"

Mia suddenly grabbed Amari by the collar of his shirt and dragged him away.

Like little gremlins, the girls all began giggling at their prank. Zanele remained silent and acted like a bystander. Maybe it was a girl thing, but I saw Zanele bow to the girls with a subtle gesture. Did she feel frustrated by Amari's attitude too?
