Lord of the Rings: Warriors

Chapter 153: Chapter 153: Radiance of Stars

"Elenthor?" Rynar exclaimed, his voice trembling with excitement as he gazed at the familiar starlight. "The mark of the Sixth-Tier Star Elf King! A man who practically shines on his own!"

"I owe you all an apology for my recklessness, which has led to today's chaos. Thank you for helping me clean up this mess," Elenthor said, nodding at everyone in gratitude.

"I knew you wouldn't die, King Elenthor!" Rynar chuckled.

"Of course not. A noble Elf King cannot be felled by a despicable ambush," Elenthor replied with a smile.

"Welcome back, Elenthor!" Vanervi said warmly, patting Elenthor on the shoulder as he stood by his side.

"Alright, let's save the reunions for later! Right now, we're facing the Nazgûl!" Omsk growled, his eyes fixed warily on the three Ringwraiths standing at a distance.

"Yes, let's talk later. First, let's slaughter them!" Elenthor's eyes gleamed with killing intent. To be betrayed in his own domain was the greatest humiliation of his life.

...

"Damn it! That Elf King's still alive? Khamûl, you failed!" Sennar's eyes were full of unease.

Just as he suppressed life itself, Elenthor's mastery over space posed a fatal threat to him. His prized Death Domain was nothing more than a flimsy barrier before Elenthor's spatial power.

As long as they existed in different dimensions, the Death Domain was utterly useless against him.

"This is troublesome," Lydilias muttered, shaking his head. The flicker of soul energy in his eyes betrayed his unease.

"Then let's kill him again!" Khamûl snarled.

"Bold words!" Elenthor's eyes flashed coldly as he roared in anger.

"King Rynar! Dispatch someone to Singrey! Tell them it's time for the final battle!" Elenthor bellowed, his killing intent almost tangible.

"Understood!" Rynar nodded gravely, sensing that the moment of reckoning had arrived.

This battle was unlike any that had come before. The large-scale conflict unfolding now had never occurred in the original history.

Rynar's flapping wings had already stirred a "tornado" of change, and the timeline's immense corrective force was working tirelessly to undo the alterations Rynar had brought.

"Fight!" Rynar gritted his teeth, uncertainty gripping his heart.

A full-force battle against three Ringwraiths wasn't going to be the minor skirmish they had faced earlier. Seeing Elenthor return had finally made the Nazgûl take things seriously.

"Kill!" Elenthor charged directly at Sennar, the foe he countered most effectively. Sennar lacked the means to attack through space, allowing Elenthor to suppress him completely.

"Damn it!" Sennar's face turned ashen. If colors could reflect his mood, he would've been bright green with rage.

"I'll hold him off!" Sennar gritted his teeth, his expression venomous.

"Boom!" Khamûl and Omsk clashed violently. Their heavy lances crossed paths, sparks flying as they narrowly missed each other's chest plates, leaving deep scratches in the armor.

"For the honor of knights!" Omsk turned his horse and charged again.

"Evil grants me strength!" Khamûl roared, meeting the charge head-on.

"Bang!" The two knights' shields collided, sending shockwaves rippling through the battlefield.

The impact knocked nearby orcs to the ground like dominos within a radius of hundreds of meters.

"Hey, big guy! Your opponent is me!" Vanervi leaped into the air with Wind's Leap, his longbow drawn to full moon as he aimed at the bewildered Lydilias.

"Come down, you damn insect!" Lydilias sneered, raising his left hand. Gray combat energy surged, forming a twisted javelin—the Wraith Lance.

As it left his hand, the javelin followed a bizarre arc, homing in on Vanervi. The lance's defining trait was its relentless tracking ability.

"Playing dirty, are we?" Vanervi released his arrow mid-flight, shattering the Wraith Lance. However, the force of his shot was also neutralized.

"Brilliant as the stars, yet I shine alone among them!" Elenthor whispered as he thrust his curved blade forward.

A shimmering blade of starlit space silently hurtled toward Sennar, who was perched atop his Nightmare mount.

Sensing mortal danger, the Nightmare abruptly halted and dropped to its knees, narrowly avoiding the spatial blade. What should have been a strike to bisect Sennar instead aimed for his neck.

"Bang!" Sennar, panicked, rolled off his Nightmare unceremoniously, tumbling to the ground to escape the lethal strike.

"Starlight Cross Slash!" Elenthor wasted no time, unleashing another skill to capitalize on the opportunity.

"Parry!" Forced into a corner, Sennar activated an invincibility skill to block the attack.

"Starfall!" Elenthor followed up with a relentless area-of-effect combo, sealing Sennar's escape routes.

"Whoosh~ Whoosh~ Whoosh!" Dozens of meteors streaked through the sky, their blue combat energy trailing behind like flames. Beautiful yet deadly, they hurtled downward.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" The ground trembled as blue combat energy annihilated the orcs in its radius, leaving massive craters several meters deep.

"Undead Cavalry!" Sennar activated another invincibility skill.

"Hmm?" Elenthor's eyes widened. His attacks still hadn't landed?

"Silverblade Storm!" Flashing forward, Elenthor appeared in front of Sennar. Raising his other hand, a second curved blade materialized.

He swung both blades in rapid succession, creating fine spatial rifts wherever the edges passed.

Sennar's soul fire flickered as he scrambled backward, unwilling to be caught in the destructive vortex.

"Is this the best the Nazgûl can do?" Elenthor mocked, watching Sennar retreat.

"Hmph!" Sennar gritted his teeth, refusing to fall for the provocation. His sole aim now was to stall Elenthor, giving his comrades a chance to succeed.

He knew he couldn't win; Elenthor's spatial powers were too overwhelming.

"Die!" Enraged by Sennar's defensive strategy, Elenthor unleashed a furious assault. His curved blades whirled like wheels, striking relentlessly at Sennar's shield and protective combat energy.

Despite Elenthor's terrifying offense, Sennar, as a Black Knight, was not easily killed. His endless arsenal of defensive and invincibility skills frustrated Elenthor to no end.

Watching Sennar's seemingly unkillable resilience, Elenthor felt a chill run down his spine. If this were a traditional knightly duel, it might take three days and nights to determine the victor.

In fact, duels between heroes often lasted for days. Rynar once witnessed two heroes battling, only to find them still locked in combat three days later.

"Hurry up and take them down! Help me kill this damned elf!"

Sennar bellowed, nearing his limit. The endless spatial blades were depleting his defenses rapidly. If this continued, he wouldn't be able to hold out much longer.
