Marvel: Beginning with the Collection of Shinra Tensei

Chapter 201: Chapter 202: Falcon’s Shock

"I'm Steve Rogers," Captain America said with a smile.

Sam grinned back. "I recognize you. So, how's life after sleeping for seventy years? Getting used to it?"

Steve shrugged and raised an eyebrow. "Not bad. Everything's a lot more advanced than in my time. Back then, we boiled everything—now, there are a ton of new ways to cook food. And the internet… Well, us two old-timers are just trying to keep up with the times."

As he spoke, he gestured toward Bucky with a slight nod.

Hearing this, Sam looked at Bucky with a hint of surprise. He had initially assumed the man was some kind of subordinate or bodyguard to Steve.

After all, the two of them didn't look that far apart in age. Sam was well aware of Steve's identity—a man who had literally slept for seventy years—so calling himself an "old-timer" wasn't exactly wrong.

But from what Steve had just said, did that mean the man standing beside him was actually from the same era?

Under normal circumstances, that was something Sam would never have come across.

"You'll understand later. For now, just come with us—this isn't the best place to talk," Bucky said with a chuckle.

He could see the confusion on Sam's face. Steve was a public figure, so understanding his story was easy.

But Bucky? He had spent years lurking in the shadows as an assassin. It was completely normal for Sam not to know who he was. In fact, it would be weird if he did.

Without further explanation, Steve took off his lightweight jacket and draped it over Sam. Though Sam's wounds had been healed, his shirt still had two bullet holes and was stained with blood.

As much as they could roll with things, standing around in public like this would definitely look bizarre.

The three of them left before the police arrived. Steve quickly contacted his S.H.I.E.L.D. colleagues, leaving the cleanup to them.

Since Han Yu had the highest clearance level in S.H.I.E.L.D., he had given Steve similar authority to handle any matters related to the Green Lantern Corps. That way, they could use S.H.I.E.L.D.'s resources whenever necessary without any red tape.

To Han Yu, that clearance had originally been useful only for accessing the mutant tracking system. Once he got what he needed, it didn't matter to him anymore. Handing it over to Steve didn't weigh on his conscience in the slightest.

Since this was the first time they had seen a Green Lantern Ring choose someone in person, Steve and Bucky weren't sure what to do next. So, they decided to take Sam to Han Yu's shop and let him take a look.

Standing outside the small, unimpressive general store, Sam found it hard to believe. He turned to Steve, hesitant. "You're telling me the leader of the entire Green Lantern Corps is… in there?"

Steve couldn't help but chuckle at Sam's reaction. He didn't blame him—after all, who would expect a cosmic powerhouse to be living in a run-down little shop?

It was almost absurd. Steve patted Sam on the shoulder and walked forward. "Come on, let's go in."

The moment Sam stepped inside, he saw a young man behind the counter, tidying up the shop. Without hesitation, he approached him politely.

"Hello, we're looking for the owner of this store."

Han Yu looked up from his work. Seeing the familiar faces of Steve and Bucky, along with Sam standing in front of them, he asked, "And why do you need the owner?"

"Uh… It's a sensitive matter. You probably wouldn't understand. Could you just get your boss for us?"

Sam never even considered the possibility that this young man could be the Supreme Commander of the Green Lantern Corps. In his mind, someone like that should be in their thirties or forties, with a stern and commanding presence—not a guy who looked like an ordinary, easygoing shopkeeper.

Steve and Bucky exchanged a glance. Without saying a word, they simply stood back, grinning as they watched the scene unfold.

Before Sam could process what was happening, heavy footsteps echoed from the staircase behind Han Yu. Within seconds, a towering figure appeared before him—it was Ultron.

Standing nearly two meters tall with a body packed with muscle, Ultron's presence was nothing short of overwhelming. His physique wasn't just for show either; his muscles were well-proportioned, not overly bulky, and they filled out his clothes perfectly, giving him an imposing aura.

"This must be the boss," Sam thought to himself. "As expected of the Supreme Commander—he's got an incredible presence!"

Just as he was about to step forward and greet him, Ultron barely spared him a glance before turning to Han Yu, his expression indifferent.

"Boss, have you seen my headphones? They were here last night. Did that idiot Pietro take them?"

"I saw him sneaking out of the gaming room yesterday, holding a pair of headphones. Since you're asking, I'd say it was definitely yours," Han Yu replied casually.

"That little punk! He actually dared to steal my headphones?!" Ultron rolled up his sleeves, his expression fierce. "I'm gonna beat him to a pulp—three hundred rounds, minimum!"

With that, he stormed off, clearly ready for a battle. A storm was coming, and there was no stopping it.

Han Yu simply chuckled and shook his head. These two… They had once declared they wanted to help him support mutant rights, and they weren't lying.

After the Mutant Academy was established, they had seen firsthand the tragic fates of many mutants—kids who had just awakened their powers only to be treated as freaks, cast out, or exploited.

Ultron and Quicksilver had been so moved by what they saw that they willingly donated 90% of their wealth. From billionaires, they had suddenly found themselves with just a few hundred thousand dollars to their names.

As a result, their lifestyles had become noticeably "frugal." Just recently, Ultron had waited in line overnight to get his hands on a limited-edition gaming headset—something Quicksilver had been eyeing with envy.

But since Han Yu had strictly forbidden them from using their abilities for personal gain, Quicksilver hadn't been able to cheat his way into getting the headset himself. Otherwise, he could have grabbed a dozen in the blink of an eye.

Now, it seemed like Quicksilver had resorted to simply stealing it instead. A beatdown was inevitable.

Sure enough, the sounds of a fight soon erupted from upstairs. Han Yu didn't pay it any mind. Instead, he turned back to Sam with a smile. "Now, where were we?"

Sam, however, just stood there in stunned silence, his brain struggling to catch up.

Wait… What did Ultron just say? He called Han Yu 'Boss'?

Does that mean… Han Yu is the actual owner of this store?

This young guy… is actually the leader of the Green Lantern Corps?!

"W…T…F?!"
