Chapter 418: 418 Departure! Destination: The Sea of Stars!
"A spaceship?! Hahahaha… hahahaha! Hahahahahahaha!"
At the sound of Kagura's words, Loki suddenly burst into laughter.
"You Earthlings with your childish excuse for technology—still can't even reach the moon properly—and you think you can just fly off to Nidavellir in a spaceship? What a ridiculous dream, absolutely absurd! Hahahaha!"
"Ridiculous… huh…" Kagura let out a wry smile. "Well, if you're judging by Earth's overall technological level, you might have a point."
The silver-haired girl brushed a lock of hair behind her ear.
"But you see, Rhodes Island Industries isn't exactly your average bunch!"
"Alright, alright, cut the bragging, Kagura."
Loki chuckled and gave her a playful pat on the head.
"Just hurry up and figure out the coordinates and use your dimensional magic to draw a portal or something."
"Ahh~"
Kagura sighed and shook her head helplessly.
"Looks like it's time to update your impression of Earth civilization and Rhodes Island Industries, dear Loki."
As Loki gave her a puzzled look, Kagura waved her hand, summoning a holographic projection screen.
"Cortana, are you there?"
"Always at your service, master," came Cortana's voice from the broadcast system.
"Based on your conversation with the Asgardian princes, should I immediately prepare the launch protocol for the Macross Fleet?"
"Mmhm! You always get me!"
Kagura gave a thumbs-up to the room's camera.
"Macross Fleet—Ships One, Two, and Three—initiate launch sequence! Load the Asgardian star charts, set the destination to Nidavellir, and execute immediately!"
"Command confirmed, master."
Cortana replied crisply:
"All units, cease current operations and begin fleet launch sequence. Docking Bays One, Two, and Three—commence drainage. Hull seals in place. Once cargo loading is confirmed complete, begin main engine ignition."
Suddenly, sharp alarms blared throughout the entire Rhodes Island base.
The loudspeakers continuously broadcasted launch instructions.
All personnel sprang into action, swiftly transporting materials and taking their positions with practiced efficiency.
It was time to awaken the three sleeping giants—the masterpieces constructed by Rhodes Island Industries.
"Whoa…"
The entire hall they stood in began to tremble.
Loki could feel the massive machinery structures around them slowly shifting and transforming.
"Looks like I seriously underestimated you, Kagura. What the hell did you build this time?"
"Heh heh!" Kagura grinned proudly. "I'll take that as a compliment!"

Aegean Sea, Rhodes Island
Towering waves erupted as the once calm sea suddenly stirred into a violent tsunami.
But this was no natural disaster.
What emerged from the depths was an unimaginably massive, man-made machine slowly rising from beneath the ocean.
"Ship One, Hyperion—systems all green. All operational checks complete. Hull inspection finished."
"Navigation and propulsion systems linked. Preparing for main engine ignition!"
As the order came over the loudspeakers, the concrete surface of Rhodes Island began to split open.
Flocks of birds scattered.
Fierce winds swept the island.
The deep rumble of machines mixed with the thunderous charging of countless giant arc reactors, making the entire island tremble.
The earth split, the ground cracked apart, and enormous steel gates hidden beneath the soil slowly opened.
The silver-gray underground dock revealed itself, its massive bay doors sliding apart to unveil three enormous berths, each housing a titan—the ultimate creations of Rhodes Island Industries.
"Macross-Class Interstellar Vessels, Ship One: Hyperion—Main engines igniting!"
'BOOM!'
A violent shockwave blasted outward, kicking up a blinding, sky-darkening cloud of dust.
This was no ordinary engine—it was the fusion of Asgardian technology and Dark Elf dark matter engine designs.
Kagura had given this historic breakthrough—the first human-made starship engine capable of independent hyperspace jumps—a poetic name: Stellar Core Engine.
A shimmering blue energy spread from the hull, bathing the landscape in a gentle glow.
The enormous silver-white warship slowly rose from the underground dock.
Blazing engine jets scorched the ocean below, releasing thick columns of white steam that billowed upward like the birth of a god.
This was not Hyperion's maiden voyage.
Back during the war against Ultron, Hyperion—the only completed Macross battleship at the time—had set sail from the Aegean to aid the battle in the Sahara Desert, firing a single shot that shattered Ultron's Celestial Shield.
But this time… this mission was far grander than that skirmish.
This time, their destination was the infinite sea of stars!
"Confirmed: Hyperion clear of dock. All systems operating normally. Main engine output stable."
Cortana's voice continued reporting real-time status updates.
"Hyperion designated as flagship. Command authority transferred to you, master."
In front of Kagura's holographic UI, a full display of Hyperion's systems appeared, alongside the plotted starmap and course to Nidavellir.
"Hyperion, ascend to 15,000 meters cruising altitude. Hold position until Ships Two and Three form up. VEDA, begin computing warp coordinates and jump points."
Kagura issued orders smoothly.
"Thor, Loki—come on, let's head to the bridge."
The Hyperion itself was part of the Rhodes Island base structure, meaning Kagura and the two Asgardian princes had been resting and planning aboard the ship all along.
What's more, Earth's only universal quantum supercomputer—VEDA—was installed aboard Hyperion, ready to accompany the fleet into space and handle intelligence analysis during the journey.
Just then, Cortana delivered a fresh report—Ships Two and Three were also beginning launch procedures.
"Ship Two: Throne of Kings—main engines ignited. Ascending."
"Ship Three: Throne of Moonlight—engine diagnostics complete. Beginning ignition sequence."
As for these names... they were purely based on Kagura's personal taste.
Since she impulsively named the first interstellar battleship "Hyperion" after a certain sci-fi game faction, it was only fitting to name the adjacent ships "Throne of Kings" and "Throne of Moonlight," after warship classes from the same game universe.
Names, after all, were just designations—why not have a little fun with them?
In an instant, storms raged across the Aegean sky, and the roar of engines echoed to the heavens.
Three titanic battleships, each stretching thousands of meters long, slowly rose into the air.
Their colossal forms blocked out the sun, plunging all of Rhodes Island into an eerie dusk as the weather shifted from day to an unnatural twilight.
Towering waves surged with the force of the Stellar Core Engines, flinging seawater high into the sky.
And then, as if the heavens themselves were weeping, a rainstorm of ocean water poured down—a farewell gift from Earth herself.
Farewell for now, my beloved Earth.
Hello… magnificent, boundless sea of stars!
