Marvel: I am Jean's Apprentice.

Chapter 66: (Lillia's death.)

Chapter sixty six:

Seconds later, Lilia was finally remembering things and walked over to the table.

"I was doing a reading for you." Said Lilia as she pointed at Billy Maximoff.

"That's right." Replied Billy Maximoff.

"What went wrong?" Said Lilia.

"I don't know. You seemed pretty on point." Replied Billy Maximoff.

"I'm glad you're here now." Said Billy Maximoff as Lilia started to remove the sword.

"Because you need me." Replied Lilia.

"Ain't that just like being a witch?" Said Agatha Harkness.

Billy Maximoff then took a deep breath. "Lilia, are you the one that cast the sigil on me?" Replied Billy Maximoff.

"I saw what was going to happen to you that night. I saw who you were and what you would become. I knew you'd need time." Said Lilia.

The moment was sweet until another sword fell down.

"Okay, but what the hell!" Replied Billy Maximoff.

"They didn't even put any cards down." I said.

"Maybe no card's isn't as bad as the wrong cards?" Replied Billy Maximoff before he grabbed my hand.

Lilia remained calmed and looked at the table. "What did I do wrong?" Said Lilia.

Then it clicked or she started to remember.

"My path winds out of time. I was reading for the wrong person. I am the traveler." Replied Lilia.

I then started to pull on the door. "Fucking door." I said.

"I am... empathetic, intuitive, inner voice to be trusted." Replied Lilia.

"Yes, you're a mensch, Lilia, but let's say you place a card." Said Agatha Harkness.

Lilia placed the card down and no sword fell down.

"No sword." Replied Lilia.

We all then looked up at the roof. "If she got the card right, why didn't the ceiling stop?" Said Jen.

"She needs to finish her reading!" I replied.

"What's missing. Collaboration, community, singular voices waiting to harmonize. I needed you. My coven." Said Lilia.

She then placed the card down. "The path behind... Full of fire. Fights bravery." Replied Lilia.

Billy Maximoff then turned the hourglass. "We're running out of time." Said Billy Maximoff.

Alice then ran over to me. "I don't wanna die." Replied Alice.

"The path ahead... Immense spiritual power, unable or unwilling to use it. Obstacles... Heartbreak, sorrow, grief. The windfall... Disaster, destruction, sudden upheaval, but reversed, it means miraculous transformation." Said Lilia.

The ceiling then started to come down, and we all tried to avoid the swords.

"Lilia we are all going to die if you don't speed this up." I replied.

"And finally, the destination." Said Lilia as she placed the card down. "Rio Vidal is...."

The ceiling then stopped and moved back up.

I was relieved that we all didn't die, and as soon as the roof went back up. Alice and I stopped up.

"Lilia you did it, you saved us." I replied.

"What happened?" Said Billy Maximoff.

"Rio Vidal... She's Death." Said Lilia.

"She's what?" Replied Alice.

"The original Green Witch." Said Lilia.

I then looked at Agatha Harkness. "Is that true? You had relations with death itself." I replied.

"What can I say. I like the bad girls.* Said Agatha Harkness.

Just then we started to hear whispering. "The seven. They're here." Replied Jen.

"Quick. Everyone in the iron maiden." Said Lilia.

"First Agatha Harkness. When she calls you a coward, hit the deck." Replied Lilia.

"What?" Said Agatha Harkness.

"Go." Replied Lilia.

"Then Billy Maximoff." Said Lilia before she handed him his spell book.

"How?" Replied Billy Maximoff.

"Magic. And thank you." Said Lilia.

"Then Travis Maximoff." Replied Lilia.

"You'll bring her back." I said before raising my eyebrows.

"Who?" Replied Lilia before she pushed me into the tunnel.

"Then Alice. You're mother would be proud." Said Lilia.

Alice then followed behind me. "Then Jen." Replied Lilia.

"I'm not going without you." Said Jen.

Lilia then pushed her into the tunnel, but she didn't follow her.

"I loved being a witch." Replied Lilia.

"No!" Said Jen with tears in her eyes.
