Marvel : Strongest Siblings

Chapter 117: Marvel 117

The group stood amidst the aftermath of their hard-fought victory, the room littered with the fallen High Orcs. The team was breathing heavily, but their eyes glimmered with pride and a newfound confidence.

Matt surveyed the team, noting their progress. "You guys did well," he said, his tone steady but carrying a hint of approval. "It wasn't perfect, but you're improving faster than I expected. Keep this up, and we'll be tackling even tougher dungeons in no time."

Brian flexed his arms, admiring his new gauntlets. "These things are amazing. I can feel the power flowing through them," he said, punching the air a few times. "Feels like I could take on ten of those Orcs myself!"

Misty approached, her Inferno Sword still glowing faintly. She wiped a bit of blood from the blade, then turned to Matt. "I see why you gave me this sword. It's a perfect match for my abilities." She smirked. "But don't think I'll settle for just Orcs. I want a bigger challenge."

Trion leaned against a crumbling wall, catching his breath. "Man, that was brutal. But I'm starting to really feel the potential of this Pyromancer trait. I just need to refine my aim... and maybe not almost burn Liam next time."

Liam rolled his eyes but chuckled. "Yeah, maybe tone down the friendly fire, Trion. But your firepower was impressive." He looked at the spirit wolf beside him, its silver form beginning to fade as the mana sustaining it depleted. "And I think I'm getting the hang of summoning these high-grade spirits. They're a game changer."

Leon walked over, a soft glow still surrounding his hands. He glanced at the group, his usual calm demeanor unchanged. "I'm glad no one needed serious healing this time. But don't get overconfident. These dungeons will only get harder."

Matt clapped his hands, drawing everyone's attention. "Alright, break time's over. Loot the bodies, check for anything useful, and let's move deeper into the dungeon. High Orc leaders are known to carry artifacts, and if there's one here, I want it."

The team dispersed, scanning the room for valuables. Misty found a small chest hidden behind a pile of debris. She opened it carefully, revealing a set of glowing runes etched onto a piece of parchment. "A rune of reinforcement," she said, holding it up. "This could enhance someone's gear."

Matt nodded. "Good find. We'll distribute it later. For now, pocket it and keep moving."

The deeper they ventured into the dungeon, the more oppressive the atmosphere became. The walls seemed to close in, and the air grew heavier with every step. Faint growls and the sound of distant footsteps echoed through the halls, putting everyone on edge.

Eventually, they entered a large chamber. At its center stood a towering High Orc leader clad in dark, spiked armor, a massive war hammer resting on his shoulder. His red eyes glared at them with a mix of malice and amusement. Around him, a dozen elite Orc guards stood ready for battle.

Matt stepped forward, drawing his golden sword, its blade shimmering in the dim light. He turned to the group, his expression serious. "This is it. The leader will be a tough fight, but I know we can handle it. Stick to the plan: Brian and Misty, you're on the frontline. Liam, focus on summoning strong spirits to support us. Trion, keep the area controlled with your flames. Leon, keep an eye on everyone's health."

The team nodded, steeling themselves for the fight ahead. The High Orc leader roared, slamming his hammer into the ground and cracking the stone beneath him. His guards charged forward, weapons raised.

"Let's finish this!" Matt shouted, charging into the fray as the team followed close behind.

The room erupted into chaos as the battle began.

Brian led the charge, his new gauntlets glowing faintly as they absorbed his Red Tyrant energy. With a ferocious roar, he met the first elite Orc head-on, his fist colliding with the enemy's axe mid-swing. The impact sent a shockwave through the chamber, and Brian used the opening to deliver a powerful uppercut, sending the Orc flying.

"Come on!" Brian shouted, charging at the next foe, his movements a blur of raw power.

Misty wasn't far behind, her Inferno Sword blazing with fiery energy. She dashed to Brian's side, striking with calculated precision. Her swings were graceful yet devastating, each strike fueled by her Death Mana. One Orc lunged at her, but she deflected the attack, countering with a spinning slash that left her opponent in two.

"Watch your left!" Misty called to Brian, who ducked just in time to avoid an incoming blade. Together, they formed an unbreakable frontline, holding the attention of the elite guards.

Meanwhile, Liam stood back, his hands glowing with ethereal light as he summoned another spirit. This time, it was a massive ethereal hawk with razor-sharp talons and shimmering golden feathers. The bird screeched and dived into the fray, clawing at the Orcs and distracting them.

"Focus on the leader!" Liam shouted, sending his hawk to harass the High Orc commander.

Trion stood at the edge of the battlefield, his hands ablaze as he hurled fireballs into the thick of the fight. Each explosion sent Orcs stumbling, their armor glowing red-hot from the flames.

"Stay back!" Trion yelled, casting a fiery wall to block a group of Orcs trying to flank them.

Leon moved strategically, his Light Guardian powers glowing faintly around him. Whenever one of his teammates took a hit, he was there in an instant, using his healing light to close wounds and restore stamina.

"You're doing great, but keep moving! Don't let them pin you down!" Leon commanded, his voice calm but urgent.

Matt, however, had his sights set on the leader. He weaved through the chaos, deflecting strikes with his golden sword, its radiant glow cutting through the dim light of the chamber. As he approached the High Orc, the leader swung his massive war hammer in a wide arc, the force of the swing enough to crack the ground.

Matt dodged with a quick step, his sword slicing through the air in a counterstrike. The leader roared in anger, charging at Matt with relentless ferocity.
