Chapter 126: Marvel 126
[ Merisha: Ant Queen - S Rank ]
Mass Production: Can create a massive ant army instantly, producing up to ten ants of a rank lower than herself every second.
[ Gerisha: Ant King - SSS Rank ]
Gluttony: An apex predator who, after consuming his prey, gains the special powers or abilities of what he has eaten.
'Hmm, so this other ant could have been the future Ant King of Sung Jin-Woo, but yes, I got him first,' Matt thought as he observed Gerisha and Merisha with a satisfied nod. With a wave of his hand, he recalled all his summons into their respective spaces.
"Well, it's done, but let's still move around and check if they missed anything," he said casually to the cameraman, who was still frozen in shock, his jaw hanging open at the sheer display of power he had just witnessed.
The cameraman snapped out of it after a moment, stumbling to follow Matt. His hands were still trembling slightly as he clutched his equipment, unsure if he was terrified of Matt or awestruck by the effortless destruction his summons had caused. The entire situation was something out of a fantasy, and the realization that he was in the middle of it was enough to leave him speechless.
The world was abuzz, reeling from the aftermath of Matt's overwhelming display of power. News outlets, live streams, and social media platforms were flooded with clips of the raid, showing the awe-inspiring battle where his summons decimated the once-feared Ant monsters of Jeju Island.
What truly shocked everyone, however, was the revelation that Matt had gained two more monsters: Merisha, the Ant Queen, and Gerisha, the Ant King. Analysts and experts scrambled to explain the implications of this unprecedented event, while headlines blared across the globe:
"The New Apex Hunter: Matt Secures Jeju Island!"
"Two S-Class Monsters Under His Command—A Global Game-Changer?"
"The Emergence of a New World-Rank Hunter: Who Can Match Matt?"
Viewers worldwide watched in stunned silence as every corner of the raid played out on their screens.
Hunters, politicians, and guild leaders convened in emergency meetings. Questions swirled in their minds—was Matt a threat or a savior? Could anyone match his seemingly limitless power? Even those at the pinnacle of strength, like Thomas Andre, took note.
Days passed since the Jeju Island raid, yet the world continued to buzz with excitement and awe over the event. Even weeks later, it remained a dominant topic in global news. The spectacle of Matt's overwhelming power and the devastating strength of his monsters left an indelible mark on the minds of spectators.
Initially known by the title "Calamitous Summoner" due to his formidable monsters, Matt's reputation and influence grew so immense that his title evolved. Now, he was called the "Calamitous Master Tamer", a name befitting someone capable of commanding such destructive creatures with ease. His Summoner was changed as rather than summoning he tame them, and add those monsters into his army, thus the title given to him.

Now, Matt was lounging on the couch in his room, relaxing as he sent his monsters out with his people whenever they went on raids. Days passed, and Matt's focus occasionally shifted to Sung Jin-Woo, who had begun his rise to prominence.
Meanwhile, Matt's total number of monsters had grown to 21, with most of them now at SSS Rank. His strength had reached a level comparable to the Monarchs of this world. With each passing day, his abilities expanded, and more powers within his extraordinary Sword of Golden Extraction were unlocked. Among them were skills like Mana Domination, a signature ability possessed by the Monarchs, and even Portal Creation, which allowed him to open gates to different worlds.
Matt was no longer just a powerful hunter; he was becoming a force that transcended even the natural laws of this world.
Thanks to being a native of this world, unlike the other Monarchs, Matt wasn't at risk of being expelled from it. Instead, he bided his time, patiently waiting for the appearance of the S-Rank Dungeon in Japan. Within that dungeon, he planned to obtain his first Monarch—the Monarch of Beginning and End.
Months passed as Matt continued to prepare. As the awaited time drew near, he was lounging on his couch, as usual, when suddenly Misty entered the room. Her power had now reached SSS Rank, thanks to the advanced mana meditation method Matt had shared with his people.
"Matt," Misty said with a respectful bow, her tone carrying a sense of urgency. "There is an S rank Dungeon that just spawned in Japan."
Matt opened one eye lazily, a small smirk forming on his lips. "Do they need help?" he asked, already knowing the likely answer.
"No," Misty replied. "They're claiming that their own S-Rank hunter can now become a World Rank hunter after raiding the S-Rank dungeon."
Matt chuckled lightly and waved dismissively. "Okay then."
But Misty hesitated for a moment before adding, "But from the mana I sense, it's not an S-Rank dungeon. It's definitely an SSS-Rank dungeon, Matt. They'll die if they try."
Matt's relaxed expression shifted slightly as he glanced at her. "Tell them that—and see if they believe it."
Misty nodded. "Okay," she said and quickly left the room.
A few minutes later, she returned, looking a bit exasperated. "They agreed and are now asking for your help."
"Huh?" Matt blinked in surprise. "Why is this different from the usual script in manhwa?" he muttered under his breath. After all, in one particular manhwa he remembered, Japan's most powerful guild leader had wanted to raid a dungeon to elevate their S-Rank hunter to World Rank status, only for the leader to meet a tragic end. Surely, this wouldn't be the case again.
"They wouldn't have given up on raiding an S-Rank dungeon this easily," he mused aloud before turning to Misty. "What are the details?"
"No other details," she said with a shrug. "They believed me immediately when I told them it wasn't an S-Rank dungeon."
Matt's eyebrows rose slightly at that. Unbeknownst to him, his guild's reputation—and by extension, his summons' abilities—had skyrocketed across the internet. Discussions of his power were no longer limited to just S-Rank feats. Many of his exploits had been re-evaluated, placing them in SS and even SSS-Rank categories. While most people doubted the existence of such ranks, a few believed—and those few were enough to sway opinions.
