Minutes later, they were all gathered around the painting, marveling at it… this wasn't just portrait painting anymore.

He had adding in a completely different setting into the painting and yet it made sense as though it was what was round them.

"Why can I smell the grass?" Winston said instinctively

"Right? I thought it was just me, kid you really are a talented wonder" Edward said as he quickly grabbed the painting and moved away from the group

Leon on the other hand sat where he was as he held his head, for some reason he felt a bit dizzy… as though his mental strength had being drained from. Him.

He couldn't understand what was going on so he turned to Grace was looking at him equally as confused.

"Are you sure, your talent isn't an actual superpower, the painting feels real, as though I was actually watching him lead an army" Grace whispered

"That's the point, it's a realistic painting… it's supposed to look real as though you are seeing him leading an army" Leon replied dismissing it because that made no sense.

However he had a lingering feeling in his heart that told him that what he had done now was not within the normal parameters of realistic paintings.

Turning to the painting, he felt there was more to it but it couldn't be fully realized due to the medium.

'Is this really a superpower?' Leon asked himself in his thoughts as he stared at his hands

If it was a superpower then it was a good one but he feared that the fact that he didn't know the full effect of the painting ability, it may end up becoming dangerous in the future.

"So you think you'll continue painting after this?" Grace suddenly asked as Leon turned to her confused

"Don't get me wrong, you don't know the full effects of your painting, if you continue painting it could harm someone and in turn, you" Grace continued

"I understand but I believe it's safe… kind of, I can feel this sense of incompleteness from the painting as though it held great power but can't be unleashed because of the medium… a tiger bound in chains within a cage" Leon replied

It was exactly what he felt, each time he looked at the painting he could feel some weird sense of power within it but that power was restrained to the point that all it can unleash is the effect they all just felt.

They felt as though they were at a war front, adrenaline rising and all, it brings their psyche into the painting allowing them to experience the captured moment as though there themselves hence why they smelt the grass and heard gunshots.

"Then you need to start thinking of how to protect your identity… Edward is thinking that your paintings could sell for several millions so get ready for riches" Grace replied telepathically as they both turned to Edward and Winston who were both hurdled close to the painting as though waiting for it to draw.

"I also had the same thought"

"You'll get killed if you aren't careful with that plan"

"Hey, anonymity will work in my favour.. I just need to make him allow me display my painting here, it shouldn't be long before it attracts the necessary attention"

"You know no one likes a mutant, if people find out that you are one you will be persecuted"

"True but then I will be rich, can you look through his mind and find the best method to weave through taxes after painting sales" Leon replied telepathically

"Oh that's simple, just open a trust and entrust the painting to them" Grace replied almost immediately

"How do you know that?" Leon asked

"Stay with my father for a while, you learn a thing or two" Grace replied as Leon chuckled quietly

"Kid you have outdone yourself here" Winston noted as they finally let the painting be

"Thank you sir"

"Come tell me, how would you like to one day display your art in my gallery, I shouldn't let the talents of such a good artist go to waste" Edward said as he slapped Leon's shoulder

Hearing this, Leon immediately smiled, here he was thinking of how best to make the request and Edward decided to hand him it all on a platter.
