My Wives Of Simulation

Chapter 67: My Wives Of Simulation [67]

Chapter 67: Mellie; "I Am The Sword Master Of Avalon!"

_____

Kasumi Utako: "@Kaguya-sama, @Perfectionist, @Cowardly Crybaby, @Yukinoshita Haruno."

Kasumi Utako: "What's wrong with you four? You're all silent."

After teasing Natsuki in the group chat, Utaha noticed an unusual silence from the other girls.

She didn't need to overthink the absence of the little dragon monster—Her family head was always busy. It was rare for her to join the chat, let alone participate actively.

Sora, on the other hand, was a homebody. Elric had mentioned that when there wasn't a topic in the group that interested her, she would likely retreat to play games or watch anime. That explained her absence.

But what about the others? They weren't as tied up as teachers like Mizuki or Natsuki. They were all students, just like Utaha. Why the silence? Could something have happened?

Feeling a strange sense of being excluded, Utaha decided to tag them, but still, no one responded.

Mellie: " Utaha, are you having trouble in your world?"

Seeing Utaha calling out to the others without a response, the fearless Mellie decided to ask directly.

Don't misunderstand—Mellie wasn't genuinely worried about the safety of the group members. She was just hoping for some entertainment!

Although Mellie had mellowed a bit thanks to Elric's influence, her mischievous nature hadn't changed. Aside from Elric and a few "good girls" like Vivian, there weren't many people she genuinely cared about.

As for the rest?

Even though she chatted happily with everyone in the group, if anyone encountered real trouble, they shouldn't expect her to offer good advice. The self-proclaimed "oldest homebody" lived up to her title.

Morgan: "No one's talking all of a sudden? Aren't you all from the same school? Why not just ask around their classes?"

Guinevere: "I'm more curious if they've been attacked by some supernatural power. Based on what you've said, your world doesn't sound very peaceful."

The conversation shifted toward Utaha as the group speculated. Despite Mellie's teasing, the others showed genuine concern for their fellow members of the chat group.

Kasumi Utako : "Supernatural power attack? This…"

Originally, Utaha's understanding of her world was limited to the ordinary. But after encountering the chat group and witnessing the powers connected to Elric's followers, she realized that supernatural forces might not be out of the question.

Feeling a rising unease, she considered reaching out to Elric for help.

Perfectionist: "It's fine. A few of us are having a meeting in the student council."

Back in the student council room, Yukino found herself feeling strangely out of place.

She wasn't familiar with the others and didn't have any close friends in the group.

Kaguya and Hayasaka shared a deep family connection. Suzune and Yuki seemed to know each other as well, and Chika had her jack-of-all-trades charm, which allowed her to get along with anyone.

But Yukino had no intention of fitting in. To make matters worse, her older sister, Haruno, was the student council president, which only added to her inner conflict.

Her gaze shifted toward Sena, who was sitting to Elric's right. Yukino vaguely remembered that this girl was also relatively unfamiliar with everyone. But now, it didn't seem to be the case at all.

At least she was now sitting next to Elric, wearing a confused expression. No one could tell what was going through her mind.

[What should I do?]

Yukino's entire attention was on Elric. She didn't participate in the discussion about representatives for the Kendo Competition.

Precisely because of her detachment from the discussion, she noticed Utaha's messages in the group.

Kasumi Utako: "Student Council? Meeting?"

Perfectionist: "Yes, we are discussing who will participate in this year's Kendo Competition."

After briefly explaining the purpose of the meeting in the group, Utaha noticed the chat becoming lively again.

Artoria: "Kendo Competition? I didn't expect people in your modern world to still pay attention to Kendo. I thought it would all be about technology."

Morgan: "Speaking of Kendo, Artoria is quite skilled. If you need help, you can ask her."

Nero: "I'm not very familiar with Kendo, but it's a fascinating art. I can offer some advice."

Being King Arthur and a knight, Artoria's expertise in swordsmanship was unquestionable.

As for Nero, though she hadn't systematically studied Kendo, her role as the Emperor of Rome and her "Imperial Privilege" allowed her to quickly master almost anything. Like Elric, she could adapt and excel in various disciplines. Nero eagerly expressed her willingness to assist.

The Tyrant and King Arthur were genuinely enthusiastic.

Mellie: "Wait a minute, wait a minute! Have you forgotten someone?"

Guinevere: "When it comes to swordsmanship, I can help find relevant historical data from Britain. You're all beginners, right?"

Mellie: "Look at me! Everyone, look at me!"

Vivian: "For Kendo, I'll consult the Holy Swords of Avalon. Those swords are imbued with spirits and may have some wisdom to share."

...

Mellie: "Are you all ignoring me on purpose?!"

Seeing that no one was paying attention to her, Mellie became visibly frustrated. She began spamming the chat with messages, determined to reclaim her presence.

[Ding Dong! Group member Mellie has triggered hidden rules by spamming. She has been muted for five minutes.]

Mellie: "???"

A sudden notification silenced the chat, leaving Mellie stunned.

Morgan: "Good."

Artoria: "Good."

Guinevere: "Good."

Nero: "Good."

Vivian: "Good."

Both Utaha and Yukino stared at the chat log, speechless.

It was becoming clear to everyone that this group's dynamic had been completely derailed by a certain Nightmare. No one expected Mellie to spam so recklessly that the group system would mute her. Truly, she had mastered the art of self-sabotage.

Five minutes later...

Mellie: "Unbelievable! You actually silenced the pure, beautiful, kind, innocent, and lovely Lady Mellie... You'll regret this, I swear!"

Mellie proceeded to flood the chat with hundreds of unique adjectives extolling her virtues. It was clear she had no intention of admitting fault.

Mellie: "@Perfectionist, @Kasumi Utako."

Mellie: "Fine, let me reintroduce myself! Standing before you is the legendary Sword Saint of Avalon, the mentor of King Arthur, the Nightmare of the Inner Sea of Stars, the oldest and greatest mage... Lady Mellie Ambrosius!"

Mellie punctuated her dramatic declaration with a flourish, emphasizing her title as the Sword Saint of Avalon.

What greeted her, however, was a unified response from the group members.

Utaha: "So?"

Morgan: "So?"

Artoria: "So?"

Guinevere: "So?"

Nero: "So?"

Vivian: "So... I can't take it anymore! I'm dying of laughter. Mellie, you really brought this on yourself!"

Watching Mellie being collectively humiliated, the group members seemed to reach an unspoken agreement: teasing the delightful "Great Mage" was too much fun to resist.

No, correction—it wasn't just teasing Mellie. It was mocking the self-proclaimed Sword Saint of Avalon!
