Chapter 13: A Mission Among Weeds

SWISH SWISH SWISH

Moving quickly by jumping on trees and passing them Shisui finally arrived to his destination.

Kusagakure or Village Hidden in the Grass, part of small nation located between land of fire and earth, due to having less combat power than those two it can only compromise.

During third Ninja war this nation was battlefield for those two even in before that.

Infact Kannabi Bridge is also present here which was destroyed in third Ninja war now have recovered.

As for why Shisui came here ofcourse because he remember here lives Karin or more specificially Karin Uzumaki.

From what he can remember with the memories he had Karin mom seems too live with her but she died leaving Karin alone when she was young as for the age when it happened Shisui don't know that.

Most of the memories are still not clear many are still blurry like he knows there's something called Box of Ultimate Bliss which seems important but know that exact details that's why this time his mission is only to take Karin with him her mother if she is alive other than that don't create any problem.

"Let's see if things are like in my memory," Shisui muttered to himself. He began his reconnaissance, swiftly circling the perimeter of Kusagakure, a shadow flitting through the trees. His goal was to pinpoint the most opportune entry point without alerting any shinobi or guards.

Barriers weren't a concern for him. He knew that not every village possessed the advanced fuinjutsu capabilities of Konoha, and even the other four great hidden villages often lagged behind in that regard. His true objective was to gather crucial intelligence: identifying guard placements, understanding patrol routes, and observing shift changes. This meticulous preparation was simply to preempt any unforeseen complications.

"Seven here, six to the west, ten each in the north and south, and rotating patrols on the other side. The most vulnerable spot appears to be the Northwest, their attentiveness seems lowest there," Shisui murmured, having completed his thorough survey.

He currently stood two kilometers from the village's perimeter, yet Kusagakure lay before him with crystal clarity, a testament to his "Daredevil radar ability." The breadth of his perception, even with his "template assimilation" less than halfway complete, deeply pleased him. He had initially feared a paltry range of only a few meters, which would severely constrain his information gathering.

Now, he speculated his full range would be at least twenty kilometers, with the potential for even greater reach upon assimilation completion.

Of course, range did not equate to mastery. While he could perceive up to two kilometers now, during combat, he'd have to severely curtail this range to maintain focus. Even in regular periods, the effective limit would be much less; the brain could only process so much information before fatigue set in, a constraint he rigorously respected.

He pulled out a bottle, popped a chakra pill, and swallowed it. He'd stocked up on these from Tsunade before leaving, paying for them, of course. He didn't have time to cook anything, and lighting a fire would only draw unwanted attention.

He settled onto a tree branch, his mind racing through various strategies to complete his mission. After a while, he resolved to avoid combat as much as possible. Even without his eyes, he hadn't lost his signature combat style. While many shinobi could use the Body Flicker Technique, he alone was known as Shisui the Teleporter or Shisui of the Body Flicker. Every fighter's style was unique, even between the most similar individuals. He couldn't afford to leave any doubts about his identity.

With his memories restored and his vision expanded, Shisui is no longer confined to merely destroying Konoha or eliminating Hiruzen and Danzo. He now sees a far greater array of challenges requiring his attention: Akatsuki, Pain, Obito, Madara, Black Zetsu, Kaguya, and other Ōtsutsuki, not to mention whatever other threats may emerge.

He recalls the presence of another Ōtsutsuki on Earth, one who arrived with Kaguya and was subsequently betrayed, though details remain unclear. Furthermore, Shisui has an unsettling feeling about the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo. Despite Hagoromo's role in sealing Kaguya during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Shisui inexplicably perceives him as more dangerous than Kaguya herself. His memories on this point are fuzzy, but one phrase resonates clearly: "Kaguya is a villain, but that doesn't mean Hagoromo is a hero."

Given the fragmented nature of these crucial memories, Shisui has decided to wait until he fully recalls them. However, he is determined to form a team or organization to address these impending threats.

While the Uchiha clan is undeniably powerful, Shisui understands they are not omnipotent. Relying solely on them would be a grave error. Ignoring any potential assets would be foolish, especially given the scale of the challenges ahead.

As Shisui weighed his options, his thoughts drifted to the Hyuga clan. He muttered, "Should I capture Neji?" While Hinata possessed purer Byakugan eyes and Hanabi showed immense talent at a young age, Shisui found himself more fond of Neji.

He did recall glimpses of the future knows there figures and was tempted for a moment, but he quickly refocused on his own future plans, for which Neji seemed the superior candidate.

Still, a frown creased his brow as he considered the Caged Bird Seal. "The curse seal will be problematic," he mused, knowing it would undoubtedly cause issues.

Shisui shook his head, pushing the complex problem of Neji and the Caged Bird Seal aside for now. "Forget it, let's think about it after solving this," he muttered to himself. He decided to rest until midnight before commencing his work.
