One Piece: Strength Incarnate

Chapter 5: Home.

[1 week later, Gandr Island.]

Sharks and Celestia arrived at a island trapped in a perpetual winter. The entire island was covered in snow and Sharks was thankful he didn't sell the Demon of the West's hide. He managed to created furred cloaks for him and Celestia. Over the past week they've gotten closer and Sharks considered her a friend.

"So what's after defeating this final legend?" Celestia asked as she kicked her legs over the ship. She was looking a lot healthier. Sharks scratched his head, "Uhh, probably more training. Master said I can't truly start my journey until I manage to beat him in a fight."

"You think your Master will let me train with you too?" Celestia eagerly asked. Sharks sighed, "He will definitely take you in, but do you really want that evil old man as your Master?"

Celestia laughed, "From what you've told me he doesn't sound evil."

"That's because you haven't met the old bastard yet..." Sharks mumbled to himself as they reached the shore. The duo docked the boat and went to find a blacksmith to buy Celestia a sword. Apparently, she was taught how to use one by her father and she's quite confident in her skills. They located the blacksmith and managed to buy a standard broadsword for 125,000 berries.

Celestia swung the sword a few time to get a feel for it and smiled, "This will do nicely, now let's go kill this beast!"

Sharks smiled at her enthusiasm and they trekked through the white forest. Sharks was told that this beast lives in the center of the forest. They wandered into his territory and found their target, a gigantic 25 meter Yeti, who was currently napping against a tree. The Yeti sniffed the air and smelled two intruders. It's eyes opened and immediately located Sharks and Celestia.

"ROAAAARRR!!" It's roar was deafening, making Celestia cover her ears and squat down. Sharks was unfazed and charged the beast. It tracked his movements with ease and dug it's hand into the ground, flinging tons of ice and rocks at Sharks. He dodged the flurry of attacks but the Yeti kept up with him. It swung it's giant fist at Sharks, making him block with his blade.

*BOOM*

Sharks was sent flying across the forest. Celestia soon recovered and immediately engaged the Yeti while it was distracted. She used her brief opportunity to slice into it's ankles, but it's hide was so thick her blade got stuck in it. The Yeti noticed her and tried squashing her but failed. She rolled out of the way and reengaged the Yeti to recover her blade.

Meanwhile, Sharks climbed out of the tree he was embedded in and charged towards the Yeti at full speed. He applied haki to both of his arms and jumped into the air above the Yeti.

"Ken Style: Blooming Cherry Blossoms!" Sharks released a large haki-infused attack that left a deep gash across the Yeti's chest. Sharks clicked his tongue, "I thought that would be enough to bisect it!" The Yeti began to thrash around violently, destroying the area around it with no regard for anyone. Celestia and Sharks managed to distance themselves from the angry Yeti.

"I'm sure you already know, but the hide on that creature is quite thick." Celestia said. Sharks nodded, "Yeah, I thought my attack would be enough to cut it in half but I only managed to cut into his skin."

Their reunion was cut short because of a giant ball of ice and rocks hurling towards them. They split ways to dodge and both engaged the Yeti from both sides. The Yeti slammed his fists into the ground, breaking it up and breaking their balance. Celestia fell over and the shadow of the Yeti's foot loomed over her.

*BOOM*

Before she was crushed, Sharks managed to save her. She thanked him and returned to the fight. She swung her sword in the same place it got stuck in previously but this time it went in deeper, slicing the muscle beneath it's thick hide. The Yeti roared and fell to one knee, meanwhile, Sharks was in the air again holding his saber.

"Ken Style: Blossoming Cherry Blossoms!" Sharks used the same attack but this time with help from Elend. His haki-infused sword slash tore through the Yeti's neck and off came it's giant head.

"Woohoo! We did it!" Celestia exclaimed with joy. Sharks smiled and nodded. He collected one of the Yeti's giant teeth and then realized something.

"So, how are we going to skin and filet this huge thing? I don't think the ship can hold that much weight..." Sharks said a bit dejected at the thought of losing some of his loot. Celestia laughed at Sharks silly expression.

"I'm sure the hide alone will be just enough." Celestia said. Sharks sighed, "I know, but eating the meat is the best part..."

Celestia laughed again making Sharks embarrassed. To avoid anymore embarrassment, he began the arduous process of skinning a 25 meter animal. Celestia helped him and they managed to skin the entire Yeti before sundown.

"This is at least 10 tons and given at how thick the hide is, you could sell this for over 30 million berries!" Celestia exclaimed. Sharks' eyes were replaced with money and he rubbed his hands.

"More money, means more exotic meats I can try!" Sharks drooled at the thought of an exotic steak.

"Yeah...sure..." Celestia said blankly. Sharks side eyed her before cutting a chunk out of the Yeti. They started a fire and began roasting the chunk of Yeti.

"Which of the legends tastes the best?" Celestia asked as she ate a piece of the Yeti. Sharks tapped his chin in serious thought and huffed in annoyance.

"That damn lizard. It tasted the best because I hated that one the most." Sharks stated as he also took a bite of the Yeti meat. Celestia giggled at his answer.

"Why do you hate it the most? Did it cause you the most trouble or something?" Celestia asked with a chuckle.

"No, it broke my streak of not having to use haki on a legend. I defeated the other nine without haki but as soon as I fought him, I was forced to use it because of his stupid scales." Sharked huffed in faux anger. Celestia laughed even harder and her energy was infectious so Sharks couldn't help but smile. They talked for a few more minutes before putting the fire out and going to sleep. Once they woke up, Sharks headed into to town to rent a few tamed bears to pull the hide.

After three hours, all ten tons of hide were on the docks.

"We can only take a ton of hide at most. I guess we can just leave the rest here, the locals are much better off with it anyways." Sharks shrugged. He lifted a ton of hide off the ground very difficulty. He waddled his way onto the ship and placed it below the deck with a deep exhale.

Celestia didn't even question what just happened and began undocking the boat. Soon the boat was at sea headed towards Sharks' home, Yama Island. The journey was going to take two months and Sharks was happy to see his Master again.

-----------

[2 months later, Yama Island.]

An island with bare, rocky mountains and a dense jungle beneath them came into view. Sharks smiled as he reached closer to his home. Soon, they arrived at the makeshift dock his Master made. As soon as he stepped foot on the island, he could feel a powerful presence falling from the sky.

"Celestia, I'd get back if I were you, Master loves his entrances." Sharks' said as he put his arms up to guard. Celestia followed suit and got behind him. Suddenly, a massive beam of rainbow lights slammed into the ground, creating a powerful shockwave and massive crater.

"Long time no see Master." Sharks said to the dust cloud. In a split second he was wrapped in a tight hug, "How's my favorite student?"

"I'm fine. I got stronger, defeated all twelve legends, and made a friend." Sharks said and Ken looked at him in shock.

"You made a friend?!" Ken asked with a wide smile on his face. He looked over at Celestia and was in front of her quicker than she could blink.

"I'm Ken D. Melty, and you are?" Ken asked as he stuck his hand out. Celestia was surprised by his sudden appearance but shook his hand nonetheless.

"My name is Celestia Starke, I am pleased to meet you Mr. Ken, or should I say Master?" Celestia asked. Ken smiled widely at the thought of another student.

"Yes, Master will be fine. Welcome aboard kid!" Ken patted Celestia on the back and returned his attention to Sharks.

"So kid, bring any loot?" Ken asked and Sharks nodded, "Yeah but I'll need help with the Yeti hide."

Ken nodded and then he noticed the ship, "So my student is a pirate now eh?"

Sharks gulped at that question, "Eehehehe, Master I can explain."

"No need for explanation. I read what happened in the news. Next time, have a little more restraint you wouldn't wanna harm an innocent person." Ken said sternly. Sharks nodded, "Yes, Master."

Ken then began to pat Sharks on the head, "Other than that, I'm proud of you kid. Although I'm sure freeing that island of those pirates wasn't your primary objective, you still saved countless lives."

"Thank you." Sharks said with a smile.
