Chapter 8: Chapter 8:Beating the Shit out of CPS!
Saint Charlos sat atop his human mount, a chain wrapped around the poor soul's neck, yanking him forward like a pet on a leash. The villagers stood frozen, their faces pale with fear, while Nami, Nojiko, and Tashigi stiffened at the sight of the celestial dragon. Behind Charlos, a squad of twenty men in black suits followed, each wearing sunglasses, with one among them donning a mask.
Charlos sneered, his voice carrying an air of absolute arrogance. "Bow! All of you, bow before me!"
The villagers exchanged nervous glances, unsure of what to do. Some instinctively lowered their heads, fearing repercussions, while others remained frozen in shock. Yami, however, didn't move an inch. His expression remained calm, but a dark glint flashed in his eyes.
Charlos' face twisted in anger as he looked at the unmoving villagers. "Kill them. Kill every single one of them."
One of the CP agents stepped forward, about to draw his weapon—
BOOM!
Suddenly, towering cobblestone walls erupted from the ground, surrounding the CP agents like a fortress. Before they could react, the walls shifted inward with crushing force. Agonized screams filled the air as bones snapped and bodies were pulverized beneath the immense pressure. Only a handful of them managed to survive, barely escaping the brutal trap.
The masked CP agent, who had dodged the worst of it, glared at Yami, his voice seething with fury. "Do you have any idea what you've just done?! This is Saint Charlos, one of the celestial dragons! You dare defy him?!"
Yami's gaze remained cold, unbothered by the man's words. Charlos, on the other hand, was fuming. His face turned red with rage as he pointed at Yami. "I want everyone in this village as my slaves! Every single one of them!"
Fear spread through the villagers like wildfire. Nami and Nojiko's faces twisted in disgust, while Tashigi's fists clenched at her sides. She had heard of the celestial dragons before, but seeing one in person, witnessing their cruelty firsthand, made her stomach churn.
The masked CP agent turned back to the villagers, his voice dripping with malice. "Bow. Now. Accept your place as slaves, or we'll slaughter you all."
Tashigi stepped forward, her voice shaking with anger. "What are you saying?! You—"
The CP agent cut her off with a scoff. "Even admirals are nothing more than dogs to the celestial dragons. And you? You're just a weak little girl. Know your place."
Charlos' gaze wandered before settling on Nami, Nojiko, and Tashigi. A disgusting grin spread across his face as he beckoned his men forward. Behind them, two agents dragged a large iron cage filled with broken, shackled people—slaves.
"You three…" Charlos licked his lips, his eyes gleaming with perverse delight. "I want them. They will be my wives. Number 18, 19, and 20."
Nami's stomach twisted with nausea, while Nojiko's face contorted with fury. Tashigi took a step back, her fingers trembling over the hilt of her sword.
Yami, however, wasn't looking at them. His attention had shifted to the cage. There, among the terrified prisoners, he spotted a familiar face—Makino.
'What the hell…?' Yami's eyes darkened as rage bubbled within him. 'Why is Makino in that cage?!'
Something inside him snapped. Without hesitation, he reached into his inventory and pulled out a weapon—a netherite sword. The dark, gleaming blade radiated an ominous energy. But he wasn't done yet.
A watch suddenly materialized on his wrist. With a flick of his fingers, Yami activated the Size Changer Mod.
SWOOSH!
In an instant, Yami vanished. The next moment, he reappeared right in front of the masked CP agent, his netherite sword aimed directly at the man's throat.
The watch on his wrist glowed white.
SHING!
The netherite sword suddenly expanded, growing in size like Sun Wukong's staff! Before the CP agent could even react—
SLASH!
His head flew off his shoulders. Blood sprayed into the air as Yami swung the enlarged sword once more, cutting through the remaining CP agents still trapped within the cobblestone prison. Their bodies were sliced apart in an instant.
The few CP agents who had survived stared in horror. Their leader had been slain in a single strike.
Yami pressed a button on the watch, and the netherite sword instantly shrunk back to its original size. He shifted his gaze towards the remaining agents.
A pulse of sheer dominance radiated from him.
BOOM!
A wave of Conqueror's Haki exploded outward.
Every single CP agent collapsed, their bodies hitting the ground like lifeless dolls. The only ones left standing were the slaves and Saint Charlos.
Charlos roared in fury, his entire body shaking with rage. "You bastard! Do you have any idea what you've done?! I'll make the admirals break every bone in your body! And while you're suffering, I'll make sure to enjoy those girls in front of you!"
Yami let out a cold snort. Without a word, he marched toward Charlos.
The celestial dragon, realizing the danger, scrambled back in fear. "W-Wait! Stop! Do you know who I am?! I am a celestial—AGHHH!!"
Yami grabbed Charlos by the head, lifting him off the ground. The celestial dragon thrashed in his grip, his legs kicking wildly.
Yami turned to the villagers, to Nami, Nojiko, and Tashigi. His voice was calm, yet it carried a terrifying weight.
"This… This is what the Marines serve."
He yanked Charlos' head up higher, displaying his terrified, pathetic expression for all to see.
"No matter how good or bad a Marine is, they all bow to these scumbags. Even if a pirate isn't evil, they're still treated like criminals while these bastards walk free."
His gaze fell on Tashigi.
"Tell me, Tashigi… Is this the justice you fight for?"
Tashigi's grip on her sword tightened. She didn't respond. Her eyes drifted toward the slaves in the cage, their hollow, broken expressions reflecting years of unimaginable suffering.
Yami turned back to the villagers. "Because of this piece of trash, an admiral will come to destroy this village."
The villagers gasped in terror.
Tashigi's head snapped up. "They… They can't do that!"
Yami's eyes narrowed. "The Marines are just the World Government's dogs. If the celestial dragons say to burn a village to the ground, the admirals will do it. No questions asked. They don't care if you're innocent or not."
A dark smirk crossed his lips. "They're worse than most pirates."
He looked back at Tashigi. "Instead of wasting your life working for these scum, why not come with me? My goal is simple—to overthrow the World Government and build a new one. A world where no one has to suffer under these bastards."
Tashigi remained silent, her gaze locked on the ground. Nami and Nojiko, however, found themselves moved by Yami's words.
To the villagers, to the girls, Yami looked like a righteous warrior…
But in his mind, Yami smirked.
'Heh. My acting is pretty damn good. Everything's going exactly as planned.'
His eyes flickered toward the villagers once more. "I'll find a way to relocate you all somewhere safe."
Then, his attention returned to Charlos, who was still thrashing in his grip.
A grin spread across Yami's face.
The watch on his wrist vanished. He activated a new mod.
A massive projection suddenly appeared in the sky—
A live broadcast, visible to every single person in the world.
