Ash gave the order to Shanguang which immediately executed flawlessly. Dozens of wolves were disorganised by the sudden charge of glaring electricity. Illuminated the surrounding area with bright white light.

"Do not falter! It's just a simple light trick!" The wolf roared.

"I suggest you to not underestimate her power. It has quite the sting."

When the Alpha Wolf turned his head around, half of his pack were incapacitated, leaving only the line of young wolves who observed from a distance as the back up. The Alpha Wolf assumed that he would win by outnumbered the prey he usually did.

However, his today's opponents might be outnumbered, but not outgunned. Ash got the whole arsenal to bring the wolf down to eliminate the competition and become the undisputed ruler of the Southern Region.

Shortly after, Ash summoned all of the [99 Feathered Arrow]. He unleashed each arrows towards those young wolves with terrifying pinpoint accuracy. Though he felt bad after killing those innocent young wolves, he had no choice but to assert his dominance over this region if he wanted to build a kingdom for him, and the future Tamed Beasts! 

The Alpha Wolf stepped back, the fear soon overwhelmed his senses when his innate skill, [Dark Mist], gradually diminished due to lack of mana.

"Hmph! A weak dog like you is not even worth a strand of my Master's feather!"

"A dog you say?! Insolent brat! Y-You're a dead meat!"

When the wolf pounced forward to overwhelm her with his size, Shanguang had already jumped high above the alpha wolf's head to divert his attention. As the wolf took the bait, Ash propelled himself with just a kick to the ground, striking the wolf's belly with his talons.

Feeling cornered by the non stop onslaught, the Alpha Wolf backed off a bit further, once he reached a vantage point, the Alpha Wolf prepared his stance to let out a loud howl to call the reserved pack that he left behind in the den.

However, the Heavenly Phoenix was much faster, in just a flash, Ash caught up with the Alpha Wolf.

"Like hell I would let you howl, puny dog! You think you can call a reinforcement? Not in my watch!"

During this tight window of opportunity, Ash called back the 99 arrows that scattered all over the place. The arrows were afloat around the Alpha Wolf, ready to be unleashed once more.

Within a fraction of second, Ash calculated Shanguang MP and her skill cooldown, matching them with his own skill. He wanted to try combining his skill and Shanguang skill to create a devastating combo that could only be done by him.

Once her skill was ready to be used, Ash flew high above the wolf, away from Shanguang's AoE damage.

"Xiao Shan, channel your lightning into the arrows!"

"Understood, Master!"

After he commanded so, the Ligress jumped in the air, charging every arrow's heads with around 200 Volts. However, the Yang Qi Energy that Ash imbued into each arrow further increased the voltages up to 1.000 Volts per arrow! Without exaggeration, this Lightning and Arrows skill combo could be the strongest skill in Earth Rank category and able to be cultivated until reaching the Divine Rank Category. Truly limitless potential!

Any Immortal Beast who had not developed a Spiritual Body would be guaranteed dead if being struck by those arrows. Vicious!

When Shanguang had disengaged to a safe distance, Ash mercilessly attacked the wolf with a rain of lightning bolt, each piercing its body like a needle through a balloon of water, no resistance at all. Ash also targeted its neck, preventing the wolf from calling the reinforcement pack.

Without further ado, Ash dissected the wolf's carcass, eating its visceral organs and drank the blood straight from the heart to replenish his vigor. Once he finished with his feast, he let Shanguang take a piece of meat as her trophy.

To his surprise, being a phoenix also came with a lot of insane physical traits that weren't even mentioned in the system. Right now, he could eat literally anything. From wild herbs to meat, as long as it has Qi Energy in it, Ash would devour it without a second thought.
