Chapter 418: Mute
Perplexed and irritated, Autumn Breeze turned to her usual persona when gaming and sneered, "Since it's such a crude work, then why don't you sell us some of those clearance passes. It would make our lives much easier when having to deal with guests."
These clearance passes seemed simple at a glance, but when looking at it in the long run, these clearance passes were a major change in the social dynamics.
Once a guild became large enough and would receive multiple guests, there were bound to be some gutsy individuals posing as guests to get a meeting with them to discuss some other things. These things were usually frowned upon by many or very useless to them.
However, it would also be hard to create a chain of command for everyone to recognize and learn who the guests were. After all, if they tried to shove them away and one of them happened to be genuine, then that would be a major problem.
Therefore, the appearance of these clearance passes would help resolve most of the troubles, with the exception of their guest having their clearance pass stolen or the chance of it being dropped upon having been killed somewhere.
"You want to buy some of the clearance passes for your own use?" Dumbfounded, Xu Feng didn't expect her to be interested in a crude work like this.
Though he quickly came to his senses when he realized he had been too occupied with his thoughts lately that he forgot the clearance pass process was still unknown to them.

"Yeah, are you willing to sell the clearance pass that is specialized for our guild?" Gentle Wind chimed in, anticipation and eagerness flashed in her eyes.
Lately, her guild's popularity had caused many posers to want to meet her in the name of being her guest. Since she had real guests that she needed to meet, and not many of her subordinates knew who was who, these posers managed to slip in.
To make things worse, some of these posers were spies from other guilds who simply did not wear their guild emblem.
"Well, how much do you want then?" Xu Feng questioned back. If it was just one or two, then he might as well do some charity and give them to her for free.
After all, these clearance passes weren't difficult to make as long as one understood the concept and principle behind.
Gentle Wind pondered for a moment before saying, "It'll be good if you can sell at least 100 or so."
"100?"
"Mhmm, lately, there've been many guests that wished to discuss business with me and it's hard to recognize too many at once."
Although that was the truth, Gentle Wind also mentioned it as a subtle flex that she wasn't that far behind the Vanguard guild.
It was just a pity for her effort, given that Xu Feng couldn't care less about her rise.
"Okay, each pass would cost you 10 silver coins, or the equivalent of 15,000 dollars." Xu Feng explained. With the major update coming on live, coins' value had inflated to another new height.
Previously, it was already insane to have it be worth 1,000 dollars per 1 silver coin. However, now it was at an exchange rate of 1,500 dollars per 1 silver coin.
The price also does not account for the rarity of the clearance pass which only Xu Feng currently knew how to produce. Hence, he was doing Gentle Wind a favor by only charging her 10 silver coins or 15,000 dollars in exchange for 1 clearance pass.
Meanwhile, Gentle Wind furrowed her brows at the price. 'A 100 passes would be 1,000 silver coins or 1.5 million dollars. This person really knows how to extort money.'
If it was before she had bid for the slots, then the money was naturally not a problem. But now that she had won 10 slots, her liquid funds were running low and using it anymore was not worth the price.
"Never mind, I'll just buy three for now." Gentle Wind pursed her lips and settled for 3 at the moment.
Nodding, Xu Feng smiled and said, "I'll give you a 20 percent discount so it will be from 45,000 dollars to 36,000 dollars instead. I doubt you would pay me in coins, so you can just do the usual transaction we have been doing."
Shortly after this mini transaction, it was time for the main talk.
"I did say to meet, but what is he doing here?" Autumn Breeze asked and glanced at OneManMedia, who seemed absorbed with something. Till now, he had yet to even glance or greet them properly.
"Just someone who failed to complete his homework assignment in time." Xu Feng brushed him off as some nonchalant personnel.
"Anyway, what I wish to discuss with you is that during the raid, I would be too occupied commanding, but no matter how farsighted one can be. One or two rotten apples could easily escape my sight." He continued, sounding extremely vague.
"..."
A moment of silence occurred before Gentle Wind finally realized why she got a "discount" price.
"That's some insincerity right there, Guild Leader Lin Feng. You want us to be your nanny or something during the raid?" She twitched her brows.
"Oh no, please don't word it something like a nanny." Xu Feng chuckled and shook his head.
"Remember that this is a livestream raid, so if there happen to be some rotten apples, the Silver Wind Guild suddenly swoops in to save the day. I wonder what the viewers would say. The massive individuals of approval for the Silver Wind Guild would soar to another level." He added.
"Eh, but how can there be massive individuals when they have to pay to watch it, Guild Leader?" Amidst Xu Feng's devil-like temptation, OneManMedia suddenly raised his doubt on the matter, not realizing the trouble that was going to befall him soon.
"Pay viewers?" Astounded, Gentle Wind and Autumn Breeze turned their attention to OneManMedia, clearly unaware of the matter.
Instantaneously, Xu Feng's expression darkened and uttered, "If you don't talk, people won't assume you are mute."
