SDS: Template System In Marvel

Now that I had everything else sorted, I knew I would have to practice my skills. I already had the knowledge and experience of King using the skills so it shouldn't be too hard to use them myself.

I then began to use my Levitation skill and began to float in the air. I expected some problems with getting used to it, but it was effortless.. it was as if I had been using the skill for years, which in fact, I technically had.

I also planned to test out my only other usable skill, transformation, I want to find out the limits of the skill.

(Several Hours Later)

"Okay, let's go outside and test out my powers. Even in a normal world, New York should still have crime." I said happily as i flew out my open window into the night sky.

(AN: MC does not know he is in Marvel yet and he has had no reason to research his world as he believes he has just been reincarnated in his old world. Also he will be in King's form every time he goes out to fight crime.)

While I was in King's form, I found I could choose the clothes he would wear. I chose a dark coat that would blend in with the night and black jeans and boots. I decided that when I could do some hero work during the day, I'd use his normal attire.

I had also practiced with my transformation skill and found I could make any form I wanted, so I simply made myself into the older version of King, but made my hair blonde and gave myself a lot more muscle.

I had walked into a Walmart and got myself a bunch of throwing knives and many holders for it. I then made sure no one was watching and made them all float up into the rafters as I used some cash I had on hand to buy knife block with a kitchen knife set, the cashier obviously couldn't have cared less, but I could still see some curiosity in his mind that I only bought knives, so I asked him if I could also get a pack of gum and I soda I grabbed from nearby.

The cashier nodded and processed my order. Everything I stole and bought,with the exception of the gum and drink, was to actually make use of King's powers, which he didn't abuse.

It sort of makes sense he didn't carry any other weapons as he had his Sacred Treasure, but it couldn't have hurt him to have knives with him as well.

Speaking of King's Sacred Treasure, apparently for any Template that had one of the Sins, I wouldn't be able to access their Sacred Treasures until I had reached at least 70% in their respective templates.

It was a bit annoying, but I could make do. I was able to leave Walmart without any issues and I have the throwing knives and the leather holsters follow outside as I had already floated far into the sky.

I couldn't see the person, but I heard someone exclaiming about floating knives flying into the sky, it made me chuckle a little.

Everyone who heard the person simply attributed their words to them being crazy or on drugs.

(On roof of Walmart)

I was in King's form and I had opened the plastic that contained the throwing knives, put on the leather holsters and floated the knives into them. After all this was done, I was off.

I began to fly through the night sky as I was going to try to find some bad guys. After flying for about 15 minutes, I came across what looked to be some sort of deal going down, possibly a drug deal. I saw an Asian man in an expensive looking black suit, he looked very familiar for some reason, and his subordinates. And across from him giving him a briefcase full of money was a Russian man, based on his accent and his crew that were speaking Russian.

'Okay should I have an opening line, or play this more secretly?' I thought to myself.

Seeing the darkened warehouse with only a few lights, I decided to go with the latter.

Using my knives I telekinetically sent them into each light one after another. With each light going out, a scream followed as someone was pulled into the darkness only to become quiet right after before repeating for each light.

By the time every light was destroyed, the two groups had grouped up together shouting in a mix of both Japanese, Russian, and English shouting about what was happening and where the enemy was.

The culprit in question, me, was floating in the air of the darkened warehouse absolutely giddy at the simple truth that I now had powers and was taking out bad guys.

Just as I was about to continue my research of my powers on my unwitting guinea pigs, I heard something from one of the English speaking thugs that changed my whole view of my current situation.

"SHOW YOURSELF!! You think The Hand will forgive you if you're caught?!?"

I paused, still floating in the darkness as u contemplated this new revelation.

'The Hand? As in the organization introduced in the Daredevil show?' I questioned myself.

It was in this thought process that I realized something.

'The reason the Asian man in the black suit looked so familiar, it was Nobu Yoshioka, a high ranking member of The Hand.' My thoughts continued to churn.

'If that's Nobu, then that means I am in the world of Marvel, entirely different from what I originally believed. This changes so much. Which Marvel am I in? MCU, Comic world, mixed world, or some AU version of either?'

Each thought brought out more and more thoughts about my current situation and just as I began to spiral, I paused, took a deep quiet breath to calm me down.

'I can figure all this out later, it's better to focus only on the present for now and deal with this stuff later.'

"For now, I can't kill Nobu as I would need him to lead me to the other members of The Hand, but his men, the Russians, who were the lowest on the Totem Pole, and every other Hand thugs, are free game." I whispered to myself barely audibly.

Evidently my whisper, now matter how quiet, was heard by some of Nobu's Ninjas. I called them as such as they had taken off their suits and there were ninja suits underneath, right after the first attack.

(AN: < > between these means someone is speaking another language. In this case either Japanese or Russian)

one of the Ninja shouted as they pointed in my direction.

After the shout, a mix of bullets and throwing knives was sent toward me.

After a brief moment of hesitation to which I nearly was hit by a bullet, I held my hand up and every bullet and every knife slowly stopped in front of me.

I made the bullets just drop, but kept the knives in the air, adding to my arsenal.

Knowing I'd have to show myself eventually, and I wasn't in my original form anyways, I floated down in front of the group with all the knives surrounding me.

The Russians stupidly shot at me again, but I simply held my hand up and all the bullets slowed to a stop in front of me. I then waved my hand and they fell to the ground.

I then smiled as I totally felt like a certain badass protagonist. And since that was the case, in the best imitation I could do, I looked at the group of guys and said.

"Hiya fellas"

The didn't say anything, but the Russians ran at me only to have my array of knives to fly out and slash and stab at their vitals. After around five minutes, every Russian thug was dead.

"Who's next?" I asked while looking at Nobu.

"You are simply a child, what do you even know of the world? I will admit, you have some interesting power, but you are far to green for this world." Nobu said.

Right after his words, a Ninja that was hiding in the shadows behind me, tried to attack with a sword.

Little did he know that I kept a constant telekinetic field around me.

The sword stopped a foot away from my skin, the Ninja following suit.

I then telekinetically sent the Ninja flying into the wall, the sword following as it went through the Ninja's head.

"You have no idea who you are dealing with, I have lived far longer than a mere human like you could comprehend." I said using the fact that Fairies themselves can live for a very long time and since I am King, he has already lived more than 1300 years.

I remember everything about his memories, up to around 300 years, except for anything regarding how to use the abilities I haven't unlocked yet.

I also noticed that when I was speaking, Nobu's eyes widened as I seemed to be speaking as if I myself wasn't human.

"So, why don't we see what this mere human can do?" Nobu replied.
