Shinji And The Multiverse Of Madness

Chapter 7: Welcome To Herta Space Station...

Smiling in nostalgia, Shinji reminisced about the first journey he had across the multiverse. Those hellish days, though nearly killing him multiple times, gave him the power to confront his destiny. Now a captain of the 5th Company of the Ultramarines chapter (equivalent to a Grand Servant class), he stood for the final clearance signal.

Once it was declared all clear, he put on his helmet, and made sure that the vox signal was present (he linked it to the chat room, modifying it so that it worked in all conditions and worlds)

With a slight press of the screen, he slowly disappeared into the new world of...

Warning, warning, warning, the space station is currently under attack by unknown forces. A personnel must immediately evacuate and enter the nearest shelter. Warning, warning, warning...

Amidst the pattering of many panicking feet, some curiously remained calm and steady. Walking down the corridor, a young man sporting short hair and a spear calmly fought against the invading pests that had infiltrated the station. Beside him, a lively young girl shot arrows of freezing ice onto her opponents, shattering them in place. But the most reckless, or should I say the most brave, of them all was a young girl, sporting a short skirt and a denim jacket.

Wielding her bat, she smacked the heads of many of the invading members of the Antimatter legion, leaving their lifeless corpses twitching in her wake.

"So Stelle, where and when did you say your new friends will come?"

Her tone filled with a touch of envy, March 7th asked the baseball bat-wielding girl about what she was told. Not noticing the jealousy in her tone, the grey-haired maiden continued her onslaught as she answered back. "They've said that they'll be here as soon as possible, but the chat has mentioned to me that I should go to a large enough space for them to come here, and the largest space I know of isn't he space hanger. But that's way too far..."

Seeing Stelle pout, even though March was jealous, she still decided to help her, provided they had the power to defeat the Antimatter legion. "There is one room near the end of the corridor that is big enough to materialise. It's just a wee bit farther..."

Hope rising once again, Stelle charged forth with more fervour.

After clearing the room of the Antimatter legion, the group rested for a couple of minutes before giving Stelle some space. With hopeful eyes, Stelle accepted the invitation and summoned forth the members.

After the bright white light dissipated, three people stood in front of the shocked trio:

A white haired man wearing the top half of a black coloured skull mask, its eyes glowing orange. Wearing all black, from top to bottom, slippers emblazoned with silver skulls, he carried with him an umbrella in one hand and a leather bag on the other

Dr. Henry Killinger

Beside him was a young girl with several syringes attached to the back of her body, the back being a pseudo pump. Despite her smile being too big and creepy, her sailor uniform and naive look just made her seem gung-ho.

Himiko Toga

But the last of the trio was the one who gave them the heebie jeebies.

A 3 m tall man, wearing full Ceramite and Adamantium armour painted blue, stood in front of them. Emblazoned in the center of his chest was a lifelike human skull, forged from gold. Though he meant them no harm, his mere presence in the room gave Dan Heng the chills, sweat pouring down his back. It did not help that the weird sword-looking contraption strapped to his sides was as tall as March.

But what set him apart from the rest was his demeanour.

Even though Dan Heng had only smidgens of his past life, it was enough for him to recognise a battle-worn soldier anytime. The numerous medallions pinned to his chest further emphasised this fact, causing him to grab his spear tighter than ever.

Matou Shinji

"So, you must be Galaxy Baseballer, our newest member..."
