Superman's Saiyan little brother

Chapter 565: Chapter 564: Action and Confrontation

However, to Grant's surprise, even after drawing a significant amount of power from his true self, the situation did not change. He still couldn't break free from Clark's grip. This left Grant feeling panicked. Though he didn't fully understand what was happening, his only option was to continue channeling more power from his true self to alter the current predicament.

"Swish!" Suddenly, Grant found himself being lifted uncontrollably into the air. When he came to his senses, he realized that Clark was holding him like a chick and flying away with him! Grant couldn't accept such humiliation, but before he could muster enough power to resist, he noticed a familiar figure.

It was another powerful being from the Dark Dimension who had descended to Earth's dimension before him. This being also seemed to be cautiously exploring Earth's situation. But before he could get a clear understanding, Clark appeared and rendered him immobile as well.

"..." Grant looked at his fellow being, also being carried like a chick, and didn't know what to say. After a brief exchange of glances, they both started channeling more power from their true selves.

Grant thought Clark's strength was indeed formidable, but Clark was too arrogant, not taking them seriously at all. He dared to capture all of them, making it easier to deal with Clark once they channeled more power. While Grant was thinking this, another of his kind was captured by Clark. This time, Clark took out a rope and tied the three of them together. Although they were flying in the sky and looked somewhat dignified, on the ground, it would resemble someone walking three dogs.

Such a disgraceful sight was unacceptable to these Dark Dimension beings. Especially as the number grew from three to five, all captured by Clark, they became increasingly frantic, channeling more power.

"What's happening?" In the Dark Dimension, Hercules frowned at Grant and the others. He noticed they were all continuously drawing power from their true selves, which made him uneasy.

Previously, Servis's constant power draw could have been an isolated incident, not proving anything about Earth's dimension. But now, everyone who went to Earth's dimension was doing the same, indicating that there was definitely something dangerous on Earth.

Moreover, the power being used by Grant and the others was approaching the limit set by Earth's dimension. If they continued, they would, like Servis, have to pay a hefty price to Earth's dimension.

Hercules was unwilling to see this happen, as empowering their avatars on Earth by paying a price was essentially aiding the enemy. The Dark Dimension had long targeted Earth's dimension, and providing it with power would only make it stronger. Hercules even suspected that the events on Earth might be orchestrated by the will of Earth's dimension itself.

Thus, Hercules hesitated, considering whether to sever the connection between Grant and the others and Earth's dimension. Losing the avatars would be better than losing more power.

"Buzz!" However, as Hercules hesitated, Grant's true self's aura weakened significantly, appearing even weaker than Servis. It seemed that the cost for Grant was greater.

Meanwhile, the other four didn't continue channeling power but maintained their current state. This was a result of their mutual understanding. When Clark captured all five, they kept increasing their power but still couldn't break free from Clark's hold. After a brief exchange of glances, Grant decisively decided to increase his power alone to deal with Clark.

This wasn't due to any noble self-sacrifice from Grant. It was primarily because he had recently been threatened by Hercules, and with no new instructions from him, Grant chose to act for self-preservation.

Of course, if Grant's increased power still couldn't match Clark, the others would also have to channel more power.

Just as Grant's power began to surge and was about to peak, Clark brought the five of them to the battlefield where Servis was, and telepathically told Baron Mordo and the others, "Activate the mirror dimension!"

"Buzz!" The next moment, the mirror dimension began to form. Even Servis, influenced by the Martian Hunter's mental powers, noticed something was wrong. He was particularly wary of the mirror dimension's power and immediately realized it was a trap. He prepared to leave.

"Crackle!" At that moment, Robert appeared beside Servis, giving him a faint smile. He transformed his aura into electricity, enveloping Servis and immobilizing him with his powerful palm strike.

"Damn it! It's a trap! It's that mysterious tailed warrior again!" Seeing Robert, Servis's unease turned into certainty. He exploded with power, trying to break free from the electrical constraints, but it was too late. The mirror dimension had fully formed.

As the mirror dimension solidified, Robert transformed his electrical aura into bright light, wrapping himself in a radiant cloak and punched Servis in the chest.

"Boom!"

"Rumble!"

The next moment, Servis was sent flying, his body crashing into the ground and shattering it. His chest had a glowing fist-sized mark, and a gaping hole without blood, as the light had evaporated it.

"Damn it! Another trap?! Am I going to fall here again?" Servis struggled to rise, feeling the burning power in his chest, and muttered bitterly.

"What?" On the other side, Grant and the others saw Servis being blasted away. Grant, who had just struck a deal with Earth's dimension and raised his power to a new height to break free from Clark, was stunned.

"Damn it! Earth is so dangerous? No wonder Servis kept channeling power. Is this Kryptonian who captured us the same one Servis mentioned? His power is so strong?" Thoughts raced through Grant's mind, and he realized he couldn't sit idle in this predicament.

Grant had paid a significant price, greatly enriching Earth's dimension. He had to accomplish something, even if it meant risking his avatar.

"Crack!" With a sudden realization, Grant's bonds snapped. The rope, which was just an ordinary one infused with Clark's special force field, couldn't withstand Grant's full power.

"Huh?! Grant's power has descended too? Such strong power? Did he make a deal with Earth's dimension as well?" Servis, sensing Grant's powerful aura from the depths of the ground, brightened. Ignoring his injuries, he shot out of the ground towards Grant, shouting, "It's a trap! Don't waste time and power! Break the mirror dimension and take those two vampires!"

"Huh?!" Grant, having just broken free, was momentarily stunned and immediately looked at Blade and Mobius. His eyes lit up, as did those of the other four Dark Dimension beings.

"I'll hold him off! You guys move!" Grant, realizing the situation, looked at Clark warily. Even after making a deal with Earth's dimension, he wasn't confident against Clark, especially since he knew Clark had ways to counter them.

Grant only wanted to stall Clark, allowing his companions to accomplish their mission. As long as they succeeded, the loss of his avatar's power could be compensated. This power was crucial to Grant but insignificant to the entire Dark Dimension, easily replenished.

"Got it!" The other four responded. Initially, upon realizing it was a trap, they felt disheartened, but now saw a glimmer of hope. If they could capture Blade and Mobius, their mission would be complete.

As for dealing with Clark, they hadn't considered it. To them, capturing Blade and Mobius and returning to the Dark Dimension would be a success, even if their avatars perished.

"Didn't expect to be so popular…" Mobius heard the Dark Dimension beings' conversation and sighed helplessly.

"No matter how strong they are, as long as they have weaknesses, I won't fear them!" Blade's eyes gleamed coldly behind his sunglasses as he gripped his silver sword and readied his UV grenade. He wouldn't go down without a fight.

"I'll handle one; Kara will handle another. The remaining two are up to you. Be cautious, use mechs and battle robots, avoid direct confrontation. They're very strong!" The Martian Hunter's voice rang out as he moved to engage one of the Dark Dimension beings.

However, to his surprise, the four beings ignored him and continued towards Blade and Mobius.

"Buzz!"

Fortunately, they were in the mirror dimension, not the normal Earth space. Baron Mordo and the others quickly acted, using the mirror dimension to isolate the four beings. One fought the Martian Hunter, another faced the glowing Kara, one was trapped by the mirror dimension's power, and the last was left to the Avengers.

Yes, Baron Mordo and the others decided that facing two Dark Dimension beings was too dangerous for the Avengers. Each of these beings was at the limit of what Earth could accommodate. Even with countermeasures, the Avengers would struggle to defeat them.

Thus, even at the risk of overextending themselves to maintain the mirror dimension, Baron Mordo and the others trapped one of the beings to buy time.

They believed that Clark and Robert could handle Servis and Grant. Or rather, they had no choice but to believe.

"Kryptonian? Why are you so strong?" Grant, locking his aura onto Clark, asked, squinting slightly, without attacking immediately.

"What? Don't you have anyone of my level in the Dark Dimension?" Clark glanced at the various battlefields and smiled, responding to Grant, "If that's the case, the Dark Dimension is really disappointing."

"How about you open the mirror dimension and let the Dark Dimension descend? Then you'll see our true strength," Grant said, trying to tempt Clark.

"No need. I'm not a battle maniac. But when that battle maniac gets stronger, he'll surely visit your Dark Dimension..." Clark shook his head with a smile.

"Battle maniac?" Grant frowned, about to say more

, when a figure shot towards him with lightning speed...
