Superman's Saiyan little brother

Chapter 597: Chapter 598: Constantine's Ace

Constantine clearly remembered that when he was secretly following Hellboy to deal with Serdar, Serdar was very wary of Hellboy's bloodline power. Serdar even believed that Hellboy's bloodline was more powerful than the Hell Lord who possessed Kaire. Since then, Constantine had kept this information firmly in mind and managed to obtain contact information for Hellboy through various means.

Of course, at that time, Constantine did not rush to contact Hellboy, as he knew that Hellboy did not have a good attitude towards him. If Constantine reached out without a proper reason, Hellboy would likely ignore him. However, the situation changed once Constantine learned about the dimensional crisis on Earth. He now had a perfect excuse to invite Hellboy out.

"A major dimensional event? The Saiyan specifically found you?" Hellboy's attitude changed noticeably upon hearing Robert's message. Robert had saved Hellboy's life, and Hellboy had helped the Avengers against official agencies as a way to repay this debt. Hellboy had always wanted to further his relationship with Robert. The military agency Hellboy belonged to was aware of his intentions, but this time they did not stop him, as they also wanted to win over Robert.

However, neither Hellboy nor his military agency had been able to contact Robert, so their efforts had been unsuccessful. When Hellboy heard new information from Constantine, he immediately became serious and arranged a meeting place. The two successfully met.

"Did the Saiyan not come?" Hellboy's first question upon seeing Constantine was about Robert's whereabouts.

"To be honest, your people are not very subtle, blatantly following us here..." Constantine shrugged, performing some magical gestures that enveloped him and Hellboy in a light.

"Mm?!" Hellboy's pupils contracted as he clenched his fist, wary of Constantine's sudden action. Constantine's reputation wasn't great, making Hellboy instinctively suspicious. He prepared to attack Constantine, even beginning to doubt the truth of what Constantine had said about Robert and the dimensional crisis.

With a "crack," Hellboy's large fist struck Constantine, but Constantine's body shattered like glass, scattering around. The environment changed, and Hellboy found himself in a dense forest, surrounded by thick vegetation and trees that blocked most of his view.

"Constantine! What are you trying to do?!" Hellboy shouted, feeling uncertain and restrained, as his typical straightforward approach wouldn't help in this unfamiliar setting. He hesitated, concerned about accidentally harming his colleagues if they were disguised as the surrounding trees.

While Hellboy was lost in thought, some shards from the broken glass that was Constantine's body scratched him. Hellboy looked at his wound, unconcerned, as it healed quickly. He was more focused on finding and dealing with Constantine.

"Calm down, I don't mean you much harm. This is indeed a forest. I did this to shake off the people following you. Honestly, this situation is partly your fault. If you hadn't brought your colleagues with you, I wouldn't have had to use such measures..." Constantine's voice echoed around Hellboy.

Hellboy, still angry and cautious, punched towards the sound, but only hit a large tree. As the tree was pierced, Hellboy noticed a formation inside it, exuding a familiar aura.

"Hell dimension's aura? What are you doing?!" Hellboy asked, frowning. "You lured me here using the Saiyan's name and attacked me. Aren't you afraid of the Saiyan finding out?"

"I told you, I don't mean you much harm. You'll soon know what I'm doing..." Constantine's voice echoed with a faint smile. Hellboy felt a wave of fatigue wash over him, his consciousness becoming increasingly fuzzy.

"What is this?" Hellboy realized something was wrong, but couldn't clear his head. He sensed a pulling force, and then he was sucked into it. When the force dissipated, Hellboy found himself in a place filled with the stench of sulfur and decay, surrounded by a hellish landscape of bones and desolation.

"Hell? Wait, am I in the Hell dimension?!" Hellboy finally came to his senses, feeling his body becoming more solid and powerful, as if an energy was constantly being infused into him.

Meanwhile, in a mysterious part of the Hell dimension, a pair of eyes gazed towards Hellboy's location, the voice carrying a hint of surprise. "How is he back? Banished... No, it's not his true form, it's his soul. This shouldn't be possible. What happened in the Earth dimension? Hm? The Earth dimension? Why has it become so much stronger? How long have I been asleep?"

No one could answer this voice's questions. As Hellboy's aura grew stronger, many creatures in the Hell dimension sensed him as a delicious meal, irresistibly drawn to him.

"Is this a trap? Hmph, fishing in the Hell dimension... Bold, but it's not the right time yet. You haven't fully matured. You shouldn't be here now..." The voice's owner seemed to realize something, as an invisible force spread out.

With a hum, Hellboy felt as if the environment suddenly rejected him, sending him flying. When he regained his senses, he found himself back in front of the towering tree.

"What was that?" The experience left Hellboy bewildered, staring blankly at his hands.

At that moment, the formation in the tree activated again, and several beings emerged into the Earth dimension. These creatures, exuding an aura of violence and greed, looked around with hungry eyes.

"The Earth dimension? We made it here just like that?"

"Great! I was just thinking about checking out the Earth's newfound strength, and here I am without any effort!"

The hellish creatures were clearly excited, not realizing that Hellboy was an Earthling. They thought Hellboy had stumbled through a dimensional rift to Earth.

"Is this it? No big fish?" Hellboy felt a sense of alertness at these creatures' presence, but Constantine's voice interrupted, sounding dissatisfied. "I thought you'd attract some big fish, given your impressive bloodline. But it's just a bunch of small fry. Let's see if they have any useful information..."

"You used me as bait? And you threw me into the Hell dimension for this?" Hellboy finally understood what Constantine had done, glaring at him with anger. If it weren't for the dangerous situation, Hellboy would have punched Constantine. "And these aren't big fish? You better tell me the Saiyan is here, or I won't be able to handle all these strong enemies!"

The creatures targeting Hellboy were no pushovers; their power surpassed Hellboy's. Hellboy knew Constantine's strength from previous battles, and without Robert, their chances of surviving seemed slim.

"I see these demons as mere chickens and dogs!" Constantine remained calm, hands behind his back, speaking with disdain as he looked at the demons.

"Courting death!" The demons were wary when they first saw Constantine, fearing he might be powerful. But after observing him, they sensed no threat, and hearing his arrogance, they attacked in fury.

Just as the demons attacked and Hellboy prepared to defend, chains emerged from the void, binding the demons. The chains emitted a power that the demons feared, causing them to writhe in pain and emit agonized screams.

"You!" Hellboy's eyes widened as he instinctively stepped back, feeling uneasy about the chains.

"Heh, I'm not great at sudden fights, but this is my prepared arena. How could I not be ready?" Constantine said with a mocking smile, "You feel the power of these chains, right? I acquired them for dealing with vampires and werewolves, but they work just as well on hellish creatures. Oh, and they're stained with the blood of the Holy Son, yes, from that famous crucifix..."

"I spent a lot to get these chains, and luckily they're not single-use. Otherwise, I'd be reluctant to use such priceless antiques..."
