Supreme Upgradation System: Cultivating in a Demonic Sect

Before getting captured, Li Feng was paralyzed by some kind of demonic art and was unable to move his body even a little bit. But his thoughts were still clear and his mind was working perfectly. So he was able to hear the conversation that was happening between the vile demonic cultivators who had captured him.

Some time had passed since Li Feng was captured and in this time period, he had managed to calm down a little bit. He was still extremely sad and angry with the sudden slaughter of his parents and close people of the village. He was definitely going to take revenge for this but now was not the right time.

Currently Li Feng was powerless to do anything to these powerful cultivators. He first needed to get stronger and only then he would be able to take revenge on these murderers. So instead of getting immersed in sadness, he was determined to do whatever he needed to survive and grow.

So he was paying all his attention to hear what these evil cultivators were saying in order to learn as much information as possible about the place where he was going next. From how these people behaved, Li Feng was sure that his stay there would not be all rainbows and sunshine, so gathering more information was extremely important.

By eavesdropping on the conversation among these cultivators, Li Feng was able to learn a decent amount of information. These cultivators practiced diabolical arts that disregarded most things including the cultivator's own safety and foundation for faster progress. They were known as demonic cultivators. These Demonic Cultivators were not the mainstream of the cultivation world but still with their strength, they had managed to have a solid presence in the world.

The arch-nemesis of these cultivators were the righteous cultivators who were the mainstream. Whenever a demonic and a righteous cultivator met, most of the time it would turn into a fight to the death.

There were various techniques created by the righteous sects which were super effective against the demonic cultivators. So the demonic cultivators most of the time tried to avoid these righteous bastards as much as they could. But if they could find a good opportunity, the demonic cultivators would not miss the chance to slaughter the righteous ones.

As for the sect that these cultivators belonged to, it was called the Blood Sea Sect. It was one of the five great sects that practiced demonic cultivation and had quite an ancient legacy.

The atmosphere inside this demonic sect was extremely bad. Li Feng heard about quite a few incidents where fellow disciples of the same sect killed each other for very minor incidents.

From what Li Feng heard, he judged that practicing demonic techniques might have an adverse effect on the mind of the demonic cultivators, as this kind of overly ruthless behaviour was not very normal.

This terrible sounding place was going to be his new home from now on. This thought made Li Feng a bit worried and depressed but at the same time he was also confident that with the help of his system, he would be able to grow at a rapid pace even at a terrible place like that.

So Li Feng impatiently waited for these people to reach the sect quickly. The reason for his impatience was simple. If these cultivators took too long to reach the sect then there was a possibility that he might miss his chance to complete the daily quests for the next day. If that outcome really came to be, it would be a very big lose for Li Feng. He definitely did not want that.

Fortunately for Li Feng, these demonic cultivators were also in a hurry to get away from the area of influence of the righteous sects as soon as possible. So they travelled at a fast speed and quickly reached the area that was under the control of the Blood Sea Sect.

After reaching this area, they relaxed slightly but still continued to travelled at a decent speed. They even removed the cover from Li Feng's head, so he was able to see the world now.

As this was suppose to be the area under a demonic sect, Li Feng had thought that it would have a dark and gloomy atmosphere. But actually that was not the case. This area did not look much different from any other regular area at all in Li Feng's eyes.

After traveling for almost half a day, all the cultivators suddenly stopped before a completely ordinary looking forest which made Li Feng curious.

Then before him, the leader of the group suddenly took out a deep red token and pressed it forward. Immediately a part of the empty sky lit up with a blood coloured light and the token also started to glow red.

Then a fissure suddenly opened in the sky and all of the demonic cultivators entered that fissure. Obviously Li Feng was also taken inside that fissure while his body was still completely paralysed.

Even after going through the mysterious fissure, Li Feng did not feel anything weird in his body. The sensation he felt was like normally going through a door but the scenery inside the fissure was very astonishing as it was completely different from what was seen from outside. The ordinary forest was nowhere to be seen and instead there was something like a city in front of Li Feng's eyes.

Just after being inside a forest, the sudden view of a city was definitely astonishing. It looked like there was some kind of barrier that was hiding the real Blood Sea Sect from the view. Even with his extremely sad state of mind, Li Feng could not help but be surprised after seeing such a mysterious and magical scene for the first time in his life.
