Supreme Upgradation System: Cultivating in a Demonic Sect

Even though the area before him looked like a city at the first glance, but after taking a second look, this city looked somewhat different from a regular city.

If Li Feng had to compare it to anything, this city reminded him of big university campuses with various departments and many hostels for the students to live in.

But, unlike the universities that Li Feng had seen, there was a scary and unsettling atmosphere in the air here, which made a chill to run down Li Feng's spine. Even before learning anything about this place, he was sure that, it was definitely an extremely dangerous area. 

After entering inside the barrier, these demonic cultivators got visibly relieved. It looked like even though the inside of the sect was not completely safe, they still considered it to be safer than the outside world.

As the cultivators were relaxing, a man wearing a deep purple robe with golden border came toward them. Seeing the man, all the cultivators who had captured Li Feng and were very domineering bowed their head immediately and greeted him.

"Disciple Huang Yi, greets elder Purple Blood."

The elder named Purple Blood had a very scary looking face and he was giving off a terrifying aura. Even him getting closer made a chill to run down Li Feng's spine.

While Li Feng was feeling scared toward this elder Purple Blood, he did not do anything except for taking a fleeting glance toward everyone. Then he slightly nodded his head and allowed all the disciples to cross the large gates of the sect.

Even though none of the other cultivators noticed anything, Li Feng did feel that something scanned him thoroughly when the elders eyes fell on him.

He was a bit scared for a second that his system might be exposed but fortunately nothing like that happened. It looked like this elder just scanned the outside of his body and was not able to read his mind.

After passing the gate, various houses and buildings became clear before Li Feng's eyes. Most of the houses were made from grey stones but there were also quite a few buildings which were made from luxurious looking black stones.

There was also a slight smell of iron in the air. This made perfect sense to Li Feng as this place was the Blood Sea Sect. So the air of this place having the smell of the blood was completely expected.

After coming in, all the demonic cultivators carrying Li Feng directly went toward a large building. This building was more luxurious looking than the other buildings located in this area and a large number of cultivators dressed similarly like his captors were entering and leaving this building frequently. It looked like this place was super busy.

This large building turned out to be the Outer Sect Mission Hall. These cultivators had gone out of the sect on a mission, so they needed to report there after returning back from the missions.

While listening to the conversation between his captors, Li Feng had managed to learn a bit about how the mission system worked in this Blood Sea sect.

There were many missions available for the disciples to take and completing these missions rewarded them with contribution points. Li Feng had noticed that almost all the cultivators were crazy for these contribution points.

Even he himself was just a fat load of cultivation points for these people. So seeing how insanely greedy these cultivators were for the contribution points, Li Feng judged that these points were most likely extremely important.

Throughout the whole way, these people never treated Li Feng like a regular human, not even like a living being. For them he was just an object that they could cash in to get some extra contribution points. That's all.

Just in the same way, Li Feng was once again treated like an object and was handed over to an old and decrepit man. That old man also checked Li Feng with a similiar looking crystal ball and after making sure that Li Feng really had the qualifications to become an immortal cultivator, his captors were rewarded with 500 contribution points.

After that, all the demonic cultivators left the Mission Hall and Li Feng made sure to remember all of their faces. They would be his target of revenge in the future, so he could not afford to not remember them. Then the old man took Li Feng and also left the mission hall. He brought him to a jail-like room and threw him inside one of the cells. There were a few other children of his age inside the cell and all of them had scared and lost expression on their faces. After throwing him in, this old man did not say anything and just left after locking the door.

Li Feng got up from the ground after some time and checked his body for injuries. He did have some bruises here and there but they were mostly minor ones so he did not worry too much about them. After making sure that he was fine, Li Feng immediately looked at his status panel to check on his daily missions for this day.

Fortunately, his system was very understanding and as daily missions, it only gave tasks that were doable by Li Feng in his current situation. Today he needed to complete only two daily missions and the rewards for them were also not that high. But that was not a problem for Li Feng as he had expected this already because in his current situation, there was not much that he was able to do.

But at least these missions were easy and could be completed quickly. He also did not worry too much about the low rewards as regular upgradation cards were not that important to him as he had plenty of them.

The reason why he was worried about completing his daily missions was because if he missed it then he would not be able to maintain his continuous streak and then he would not get his advanced upgradation card at the end of the week. That would truly be a big loss for him.

So Li Feng immediately started to cleaned up the dirty jail room and killed all the bugs that were present there. That was how he was able to complete both of the daily missions that he had and then he started to wait inside the jail for what was going to happen next.

Even when he was cleaning the room and was killing the bugs, the other children in the cell did not say or do anything. Li Feng was also not in the mood to speak to anyone after his traumatic experiences, so he also did not talk to anymore and just continued waiting.
