Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Level-up!

kanuk's enhanced hearing caused his ears to twitch, catching the sound like it was right next to his ears. Opening his eyes, he rubbed the sleep out of them before standing up and walking towards the door.
Opening the door, Kanuk was met with a smiling Katara, who was looking at him with a twinkle in her eyes. Kanuk smiled as he waved to her.
The southern tribe's only young and male members are Sokka and Kanuk, so imagine what a young female water bender would feel when the only young man in her tribe is her brother and someone not related to her.
Obviously, Katara is gonna fall in love with Kanuk. That's the only option the poor girl has since she can't get with Sokka. She almost has to get with Kanuk.
"Katara, is it 11 already? If so, sorry for sleeping in." Kanuk smiled as he rubbed the back of his head.
"No. I just wanted to spend some time with you before we go hunting. is that a bad thing?" Katara felt her heart thump as she looked into Kanuk's deep blue eyes.
He had pale skin due to his mother not being from the water tribe. His hair was pure black, reaching just below his ears, and he was tall for his age, reaching a height of 5'7 at just 15.
"Of course not, I actually had something to tell you, but I did not know how to." Kanuk moved aside, allowing Katara to walk into his igloo. He watched as she entered, his eyes glued to her back.
Katara smiled as she felt Kanuk's gaze on her ass. She did not show it, but she loved it when Kanuk was paying so much attention to her. She and Kanuk were basically expected to be married when they were older.
"What did you want to tell me?" Katara asked as she sat down on Kanuk's bed. She smiled as she smelt his scent in the igloo. The bed was still warm as Kanuk woke up a minute ago.
Kanuk smiled, but he did not say anything other than levitating the water from inside a cup towards Katara. The water trembled for a few seconds before it splashed on the ground.
"Water bending! Kanuk, I am so happy for you!" Katara jumped up with her eyes shining. Her preordered husband was now a water bender. She jumped up and ran to hug him.
Kanuk opened his arms, embracing Katara with a smile. Her developed chest smashed into his chest, and he could smell her womanly scent filling his nose cavities.
"So, what do you say about being water-bending couples?" Kanuk asked as Katara pulled back and opened her eyes wide before a huge smile made its way onto her face.
"Are you asking me to become yours? Because if you are, then my answer is a huge yes!" Kanuk smiled before he held Katara's head in his palms. He leaned down, and just as they were about to kiss, someone interrupted.
"Hey, you two! What is taking so long?" Outside the igloo, the voice of Sokka was heard, and judging from his irritated voice, he would barge in a few seconds late.
Kanuk and Katara stared at the door with an annoyed expression. With a sigh of acceptance, Kanuk put his blue coat on and opened the door to exit with Kata behind him.
Upon seeing Katara exit with Kanuk, Sokka almost lost his mind. His sister was in a room with a man.
"Seems like you two had a great time while I was setting the boat up. follow me already!" Sokka said as he turned to walk away. Katara and Kanuk stared at each other with a smile before going after him.
The three of them reached the docks, or just the ice dock and they boarded the boat just big enough to fit the 3 of them on. Katara smirked as she sat down next to Kanuk.
Sokka watched them like a hawk with narrowed eyes. He had a pad in his hand to move the boat. The ice was cold, and a breeze was created, pushing the boat forward.
"Sokka, let me do the hunting first, I want to see how much I improved." Sokka nodded his head since he only had 1 spear with him. Their small village could not create spears like nothing.
Kanuk took the spear into his hand, and he smiled as he clenched his fist around it. His spear skills were actually quite good, it's due to copying it from Sokka.
It was at level 8, and it gave him the ability to catch a guaranteed fish of 8 in 10 tries. Might look small, but that is guaranteed, not just a one-time thing.
The skill level was level 8 because he had practised it on some snowman back at the tribe.
Taking the spear into his hand, Kanuk smiled as he felt the wood beneath his palm, it felt smooth and like he was always used to the spear. Moving to the edge of the boat, he leaned over the side.
"Be careful Kanuk. What if you fall out into the water?" Katara smiled, her eyes shining before she leaned on Kanuk's back, pretending to hold him so he did not fall into the water. Sokka narrowed his eyes.
Seeing that she was really only trying to hold Kanuk, Sokka let it happen since it was not hurting anyone.
"Thanks, Katara, and no I won't fall into the water." Kanuk smiled as he looked back, but his ears suddenly twitched as he heard the sound of water splashing.
Turning around with a serious face, Kanuk raised his spear, and with speed that was blurry to the eyes, he lodged it into the water. Sokka and Katara watched with wide eyes as he picked the spear out.
"A fish! How did you do that?" Sokka asked while bewildered seeing a fish big enough to feed two people on the spearhead. Katara opened her eyes in amazement as she looked at Kanuk.
'So... Manly!' Katara's eyes narrowed as he watched Kanuk, a smile on her mouth. She blushed as she thought back to the igloo incident.
"This one is a big boy! If I keep this up, I could probably catch enough fish to feed the whole village for a week!" Kanuk smiled widely, his hands shaking from excitement as he held the fish.

Seeing his spear level up, Kanuk smiled with even more excitement. His spear now has a 90% chance of being able to spear through a fish. With Kanuk's enhanced hearing, that chance is basically 100%!
'I can't wait to know what happens when the skill reaches level 10!' Kanuk thought as he gently took the fish from the spearhead and placed it into a net that was hung in the water.
This net could keep the fish alive while in the water, and it is also big enough to hold a lot of fish.
"Sokka, maybe you should learn some fishing skills from me?" Kanuk said with a teasing smile on his face while looking at Sokka. Sokka clicked his tongue before looking away.
"Whatever, that was just some good luck." Katara chuckled while looking at Sokka and Kanuk. She loved to see her brother and Kanuk get along with each other.
"Oh! Another one right up!" With another sharp thrust, the fish that was swimming lazily under the boat was stabbed through, the hooked part of the spear trapping him from swimming off.
Taking it out, Kanuk saw that the fish was now much smaller, only enough to feed children, but a fish is still a fish no matter what, plus his skill gained some experience.

"This is amazing!"
