"Rapunzel! Rapunzel I need to speak with you!" Varian exclaimed, calling out from the gates to her window. "Varian! I'll be down there in a moment, just wait there!" The brunette princess called from her balcony, Varian softly smiling. "Alright, what is it you need Varian?" Rapunzel asked him. "What do you know about the Eternal Library, Princess?" He asked. The princess hesitated for a moment, this was an unusual question for him to ask. "All I know is that it lies in the city of the Dark Kingdom, but to get to the Dark Kingdom, you must travel through the forest that separates Corona from the Dark Kingdom, which is rumored to be magical yet dangerous." Rapunzel explained. "Well, if that's where I must go, then I'm going." Varian declared. "Wait! How does your father feel about this?" Rapunzel asked, Varian stiffening as his blood began boiling thinking of his father's words again, he lied and said, "He completely supports me on my journey." He looked back to see the princess smile and she said, "Very well then Varian, I wish you the best of luck on this quest." The alchemist smiled back at her and said, "I don't need luck, I got alchemy and Ruddiger." Rapunzel giggled and said, "Goodbye Varian, stay safe and be careful!" "When am I??" Varian joked as he walked away towards the forest. "I will make you proud of me Dad, if it's the last thing I ever do." He thought to himself in a frustrated tone. MEANWHILE, SOMEWHERE ELSE "So.. My son is trying to take me home? Ha! That foolish child, he's walking himself into my trap, yes, I will return, but not with him, he's awakening, I know it." The ginger haired ghost like woman said wickedly, her eyes completely glowing an ominous white, her dress levitating, no SHE was floating, she was a spirit, she was Varian's twisted and manic mother, and she was going to return soon.. TO BE CONTINUED
