The Rise of the Titan

Chapter 505: Chapter 505: Revival and Advancement

Roar! The deep, majestic roar of a dragon echoed far and wide, accompanied by a palpable dragon's aura. Any creatures on the cloud island with strength below the soul intent level found themselves utterly immobilized within this golden dragon aura, as if trapped in pine resin yet to solidify into amber. Even those at the soul intent level couldn't help but tremble and move sluggishly under the overwhelming pressure.

As the dragon's roar resounded, the elements within a ten-thousand-mile radius seemed to boil, surging madly toward the cloud island where Murphy slept. These elements poured into his dragon body, filling his depleted form and suppressing the hunger gnawing at him.

Merely absorbing the ambient elemental energy of the world soon proved insufficient for Murphy. Three massive rifts, each hundreds of meters long, tore open above him, unleashing torrents of dense, almost liquid-like elemental energy that cascaded down onto him.

"Your Highness!" "Master Murphy!" Several surprised and delighted voices reached Murphy's ears in his dragon form. Struggling with the intense hunger ravaging his body, Murphy turned to see the three young women before him.

"Bring me the flesh of legendary creatures. I'm very hungry right now." Caught off guard by his advancement during sleep, the evolution to a legendary body had nearly depleted him, leaving him on the brink of starvation.

Freed from the divine information impact, Murphy hastily shattered the elemental crystal shell and used his newly acquired abilities to ravenously absorb elements, replenishing his consumed energy. Yet even this wasn't enough; he directly connected to the elemental plane, tearing open three rifts to devour more elements.

"Yes!" Seeing Murphy, resembling a small golden mountain, Mia quickly commanded the cloud giants by her side to fetch the legendary creature flesh stored on the cloud island. Murphy's current state was pitiable.

The Holy Radiant Abyss armor, fused with Murphy's scales, was partially attached to his bones, with the muscles between them shriveled and unable to support the armor. Without the chest and abdominal plates and the helm, Murphy would have appeared even more pitiful, like a skeletal dragon.

"Your Highness, please eat!" With Murphy having retracted his dragon aura, the cloud giants could now move freely. They brought the legendary creature flesh stored near Murphy's sleeping area and placed it beside him.

Murphy looked at the flesh still writhing slightly, absorbing ambient elements, and showing signs of continued growth. Without hesitation, he bit into it, chewed briefly, and swallowed, letting out a satisfied groan.

"Where is the warehouse storing the most legendary creature flesh?" Having devoured the flesh stored on his island within twenty seconds, Murphy looked at Mia. He remembered bringing back numerous legendary creature corpses from the Senaps continent battlefield, including many giant sea beasts, which had been sorted and stored.

"The island with the most legendary creature flesh is the Lokman Bio-Refining Island," Mia reported, surprising Murphy with the name of an island. She then led the way.

Having the location, Murphy spread his wings, over 300 meters wide, shading the sky for the four females below. With a roar, the golden dragon soared into the sky, heading for the island designated for biological research.

Emitting a golden glow like a small sun, Murphy found the island exuding a strange aura and landed lightly. These were his private assets, and he needed to be mindful of his massive size's impact on them.

"Your Highness!" The cloud giants guarding the island knelt in awe upon seeing Murphy. Human alchemists, already alerted, poured out of their labs across the island, also kneeling to show their submission.

"Where is the warehouse storing the legendary creature flesh?" Murphy lowered his dragon head impatiently. He had no need for such formalities; he just needed to fill his stomach.

"Please follow me, Duke Murphy. No matter how much you wish to consume, we can provide it," said a young-looking alchemist with thinning hair, especially on top, who then led Murphy.

"Did Mia allocate all the legendary creature corpses to you?" Murphy stood before a warehouse with a hundred-meter-high door, looking at the mountains of flesh sealed in ice, sensing their potent vitality. He was astonished by the group of alchemists.

"Not at all, we received only a portion, and some were special cases." The young alchemist, seemingly on the verge of baldness, explained, "We were given not just corpses but also living legendary creatures, though they were close to death."

"What you see here is one of our research outcomes over the past twenty-four years."

"What are you researching?" Murphy asked as he chewed through the ice and flesh of a mountain-sized piece, letting out a satisfied hum as he swallowed.

"How to utilize the regenerative abilities of legendary creatures to continuously supply active flesh!" The alchemist, poised to become a powerful figure, proudly declared their research project.

"You... are breeding legendary creatures like livestock?" Murphy paused, turning to the alchemists. The idea of imprisoning multiple legendary beings and using their rapid regeneration to continuously harvest flesh seemed a mad venture on the brink of death.

"That's one way to understand it."

"Where did you get the nerve to undertake such research?" Murphy chewed the living flesh, breaking it down with his near-draconic digestive power, turning it into nourishment for his famished muscle cells.

A group of humans, imprisoning legendary beings and continually harvesting their flesh—what a crazy notion! They were flirting with death.

"Your Highness, breeding legendary creature flesh is just a derivative project. What you're consuming now is merely a byproduct."

Having devoured one flesh mountain and starting on another, Murphy looked at the human madmen he had recruited. Without constraints, they seemed willing to try anything.

"What is your main research project?"

"Using the living legendary creatures and corpses to create legendary-grade synthetic beasts."

"Did you succeed?" Murphy paused, staring at the madmen. It seemed absurd for humans, whose strongest members were only at the soul intent level, to claim they created a legendary synthetic beast.

"Yes, fortunately, we have successfully created one and are working on a second."

"Where is your creation? Show it to me," said Murphy, his body now recovered, the robust muscles once again filling out the Holy Radiant Abyss armor. His presence was more majestic and imposing, exuding an unassailable royal aura. "Let me see what kind of monster you've made."

Soon, in a testing ground seemingly used for gauging attack strength, Murphy met the first synthetic beast made by his alchemists: a semi-humanoid creature.

"Siflin?" Murphy's golden eyes studied the familiar-looking synthetic beast, recognizing its primary component. It was the legendary merfolk hybrid, Siflin, once a formidable pursuer of Murphy, now transformed into a synthetic beast.

The synthetic beast differed greatly from Siflin. Its thick fish tail had become a large, black-and-white serpentine tail, and its bluish-black wings had turned into three pairs of black iron wings, more like a fusion of weaponry and magical devices than biological structures.

The birdlike beak was replaced by a human-like face, likely the result of some alchemist's whim. But it now sported a pair of impressive horns, radiating a dangerous aura.

"It looks pretty good!" Murphy commented, finding the appearance of the synthetic beast pleasing. "But how about its strength? Have it attack me!"

"Be careful, Your Highness!" Under the control of an unknown alchemist, the lifeless-eyed synthetic beast stared at Murphy, then suddenly appeared before him, two scimitars slashing at his head with spatial tears trailing behind them.

Boom! Murphy raised a claw and pressed down, pinning the synthetic beast to the ground, immobilizing it.

"Trash!"
